[PKMN OPEN] The Pokémon Trainer Academy (T) [Best Veteran 4Q '11]

"Ah... well..." Mark said, slightly nervous at how the girl was practicly hitting on him. The weirder thing was that she had a tail. Hang on a minute... that tail looked familiar... Killik suddenly pulled on the tail and the girl quickly turned back into a Zorua. Clever... that would have been convincing if Mark never saw the tail. Still, not every day a Pokemon of all things flirts with you, even as a joke. Mark decided to shrug it off. He supposed he deserved the pranks after what he did yesterday.

"Quite a prankster isn't she? I bet she could get along with Snype pretty well... Kilik right? Yeah I remember you from yesterday..." Mark said. He turned to Oscar afterwards.

"Vigilante and Community service... I guess we're mostly going to be learning how to really make a difference out there." He said.

Snype received the box once everyone looked inside of it. What was so important about some red string to have it locked up? It was beyond Snype at least but it must have been special...

"If its about community service then we're likely going to learn how to do some good around the world and how to really make a difference. Though... I thought Vigilantism was frowned upon in certain areas?" Snype wondered.

Snype noticed a Zoura hoping up and down, asking to look inside the box.

"Kehe, gee I'm starting to feel like the only male pokemon in this class at this rate! Kehehe..." He joked. He handed the box over to mistress so that she could peek inside of it.

"There's some kind of red ball of string in there or something. My claws can't pick inside of the lock so I'm kind of at a loss... Though... we can force it open?" Snype suggested.

Psy started playing around with the Water Pokemon. Kat sighed "Where are the other kids?" Psy looked at her and shrugged. A boy walked over to her. He just stood a few feet away, and looked down at the water. He seemed to be struggling with talking, Kat could see this since she looked at his reflection. He finally spoke up and said "Hi there." Kat smiled slightly and answered "Sup." Kat then turned towards the boy and said "I'm Kat. Who are you?" Kat cocked her head as she waited for an answere and looked back to the ocean.

Alexis​

"We're probably going to go out and help people around the island… or at least, that's what I think we'll be doing."

She then turned her head to glance at the Zorua, smiling at her excitement, and also starting to feel a little big, being the tallest of the four Pokémon gathered. She lifted a paw to rub the side of her head, a small giggle escaping her at Snype's joke.

"I didn't think anyone would mind that! And… we could try, but we might break whatever is inside. I say we find someone who can open it up with a small claw or… maybe even mental powers! Maybe we can find a psychic Pokémon to help us out?"

Alexis suggested, her ears twitching a little while looking around at the others, her tail continuing to move around the air behind her, bent here and there as it was in fact, rather long.

Up front, Daniel had slowly started drifting off to sleep it seems, leaned back into the chair and breathing quietly.

Ruby Destiny

Ruby is just walking around to academy as she hears an announcement about a other class. '(hurry up Rubs! we are going to get late!)' Hikari jumps from her shoulder. 'got it! let's go!' Ruby begins running with Hikari forward her. '(which class do you have?!)' Hikari is getting nervous. 'i think it was Self-Defense with Ashara Soleil Harris!' she replies. '(i think i know the way! i'll show ya!)' Hikari shouts as they run trough the hallways. '(here it is)' Hikari suddenly stops forward a classroom, Ruby can stop just on time before she fell over Hikari. 'it is...here?' Ruby takes a look inside. most students are in the class but...there's no teacher? she walks inside and takes a seat, Hikari jumps on her desk. '(does it matter if people on this academy know you can talk to pokemon?)' Hikari asks her. 'meh, i don't think so.' Ruby puts stuff on the table, one potion and one rare candy. '(potion? for what?)' Hikari asks. 'for this.' Ruby is nicely smiling at her and takes Hikari's paw. 'you have a wound here.' she points at a little wound. '(...oh...)' Hikari is blushing a little as Ruby is spraying the potion on her paw. '(thanks...)' still blushing she looks at the other side of the classroom, looking at the door. 'here, eat this.' Ruby holds the rare candy under her nose. '(this is...for me?)' Hikari asks her. 'yes, eat it, it'll make you stronger.' Ruby still has that nice smile on her face. Ruby takes the candy out of it's paper and lies it forward Hikari. '(wow...thanks alot Rubs)' Hikari is still blushing a little as she eats it, it's usual for Ruby to be kind towards her pokemon but Hikari is her best friend and even though they are best friends Hikari always blushes a little if Ruby is kind towards her.

The lesson had started and he noticed a personwith a slakoth and spikey hair, he chose to ignore him for now. The teacher, who he had recognized as Byron, had already begun teaching about Fossils.
"Listen up people! We're here to learn about bones, old bones and mining! So get ready for some dirt!" shouted Byron. Gen yelled a loud yes. Byron chuckled. He pointed his scope at the class. "Alright, we'll begin by learning the very basics about this, get your textbooks!" ordered his teacher.

"Cruuuuuuuudddd!!!" Rang out Hiromu's voice as he zipped through the halls to find his first class. "CrapcrapcrapcrapCRAP! I can't believe I overslept!! Oh, MAN, she's probably gonna KILL me!!" Unlike a most, if not, a handful of the students on the island, Hiromu was probably one of the few to sign-up for the Self-Defense class early in the morning. It wasn't the lesson that he feared, oh no. It was the person teaching it. He'd only ever challenged her once, but he remembered it rather vividly. Back when he was visiting Sinnoh for a few months and challenged the top Fighting-type specialist: Maylene.

During the days where he and Luco were just getting off their feet, and he'd gotten quite a lesson in being in sync with his Pokemon. Needless to say, she had trounced him and Luco, with her own Lucario. Not to say he was shamed, but rather embarrassed that he was so out of balance back then. These days were different, but since then, he remembers practically getting an older sister treatment from her. In a way...

In his flustered hurry, his eyes would glance to the side to see someone standing in one of the smaller classrooms, the roof one of the movable kind so it wouldn't come crashing down for mock battles. But there was something extremely familiar about him. That hat...that green hair...not to mention that bracelet...wait a minute...bracelet?!

The boy would come skidding to halt before backing up a bit, peering through the doorway for a better look. No doubt. That was the same puzzle bracelet he wore! And the air about him was very familiar too. Mysterious, yet gentle at the same time. Could he be the one Trainer he'd battled back in Unova?! It had to be! What was his name now...?

"Err...", his eyes looked towards the imaginary ceiling as he tried to remember. "Uhm...I think...'N'...?", he questioned aloud, unawares that he was actually talking, and completely forgetting about his current tardiness.

Jimmy Vincent

Jimmy narrowd his eyes as he looked at Isaac. He felt someone grabbed his hand. It was Rosalyn, who told him that he'd gotten into enough fights already and that he should sit down, but didn't pay much attention to that as the other boy started speaking. He shook his head and growled as he remembered who he was.

"Humph, whatever." he muttered, "Now leave me alone."

He sat down and fnished his breakfast very quickly. The Egg growled again and shook, and Jimmy turned to face it, an annoyed look on his face. Ne noticed the Quilava that was with that Isaac kid was trying to examine it. He rolled his eyes and grabbed the Egg, hoping it would make it calm down and hatch.

Alice Crenshaw

Alice watched the two boys as she took another bite of her toast. She looked worried about them, because she couldn't hear well and didn't want a fight to take place in the cafeteria. But when the boy with the yellow jacket and rebellious.looking hairdo sat down, she sighed in relief and smiled.

"Good to see that they didn't start fighting." she whispered and took another bite of her toast.

Then she looked at her watch. Her eyes then opened and then stuffed almost all her breakfast in her mouth. Jello watched surprised as she did that. She gave the rest to Jello before she grabbed him and ran out of the cafeteria and gulped down everything.

"I'm late, I'm late!" she said as she ran to where her class would take place.

Rosalyn Smith

Rosalyn looked a little relieved as Jimmy sat down and finished his breakfast. She didn't want her friend to get into another fight. "the eggs probably roaring because it's senses your unhappy" she said "either that or it wants to be held" she added with a small smile checking her schedule "what class do you have Jimmy? I have Advanced General Expertise with N today" she smiled more.

Rosalyn smiled and put her schedule back in her bag taking out a bottle of pills. She had been given pain medicine to take if her hand was starting to hurt more and it was. She removed a pill and took it with water before putting the bottle back in her bag, letting out a quiet sigh as the pain started to go away.

Jimmy Vincent

Jimmy opened his eyes, holding the Egg in his arms when he heard what Rosalyn said. He didn't remember the name of the class very well, but he sure did remember the name of the teacher. N. Rosalyn and him were going to the same class. He sighed.

"Me too. I have class with that N guy." he muttered, and stroked the Egg.

Meanwhile, the Egg calmed down, moving much less violently than before and growling very lowly, seeming to be pleased by being held by Jimmy. Then the boy stood up, ready to get to class.

Rosalyn Smith

Rosalyn smiled more at the fact they were in the same class "great" she said grinning as she stood up putting her bag on her shoulder "we can go together, and it will be good to have a friend in the class" she added smiling. Rosalyn took a Pokeball out of her bag and let Belle out giggling as the Togetic flew around her head.

"you can stay out til we get to class, unless we can have Pokemon out during" she said to the Togetic with a smile "since you've just evolved you need to get used to having wings"

Jimmy Vincent

"Yeah, great, whatever. Let's get going." Jimmy said, "Do you know where do we have to go?"

Jimmy looked at the Egg as he started to walk towards the exit of the cafeteria. The latter shook more and more, growling louder with each step that Jimmy took. Soon it was hard for Jimmy to hold the egg tight. It was close to slipping off his arms. But for the sake of the dragon, he'd have to try his hardest. He growled as he held it as tight as he could. After that, Jimmy could feel the Egg like it was vibrating, possibly because of how tight he was holding it.

Ash

Ash didn't turn from the water right away, listening with a smirk to the grumbles and chatter around her. Aw... they were upset about the change in scenery. Well life was full of hardship. At least this wasn't a real big deal. The woman turned and faced her students, teal eyes turning electric blue abruptly with Aura. "Well then," she began loosely, loping gracefully to stand in front of the crowd. "Looks like most of you made it. Cool." She didn't clap her hands, smile formally, or even look them in the eye. The last part was fun to try but she had to pretend she had manners.

"My name is Ashara Harris," she told them with a calm smirk. "Call me Miss Harris and I will kick your butt into the water, clothes and all. It's Ash, and Ash only. I'm the Self-Defense teacher and we had a room screw-up. I am not teaching you kids how to kick when you're likely to hit a desk with your toe. Don't say you won't. It's happened. Pass on to your fellow brats that both of my classes are here so we don't have this mix up again. Anybody who is late after their first class goes in with the Frillish and I mean far in." As she spoke, Ash paced the beach. She hated staying still.

"First order of business: those dorm jackets! Take them off. You are ranked in this school for how well you've trained your Pokemon. There is no rank for how strong you are as a person." She glanced in the direction of a few grumbling boys. "You're equal here. Any mistreatment due to dorm or strength will earn a training session in the Mountains with me. Or if you're unlucky, it will be the swamplands as I'm visiting there as soon as I get the chance." She grinned. "Doesn't that sound like fun?"

"Next!" She stopped and stared at the sky. "There are no writing assignments in this class, only practical ones. The only time you will have homework is if you make yourself get off your rear end and practice any moves learned here. I recommend this because if not, it is unlikely you'll survive this class without hospital trips. There is no holding back on moves. Hesitation gets you beat in a fight, strategy doesn't. Time to learn the difference."

Ash looked at them all. "What is the proper way to make a fist? Those of you who think they have the answer demonstrate to those who don't. If you're really confident can come up and show me." Figured she should start with the basics. If anybody went up to her with their thumb in their curled fingers she was flipping them to the ground. They would have broken fingers if they punched like that. At least here all they'd get is sand in their hair and clothes. Unless they bruised like peaches, which in that case they needed to leave now.

Skye

Skye reached room 144 with a small smile, Pala awake and squeaking her excitement about him. As far as he could tell, she had been dreaming about apples and trees. Haha, he loved the little cub. She made a noise at Rama, who she was sitting on as merrily as ever. At least the surly fox wasn't kicking her off.

The boy laughed. "Wuh-one loss and yuh-hou geh-get all sah-sad."

"I don't get why I had to lose to that idiotic hothead, the fox grumbled.

"Buh-hoth of you loh-lost," Skye reminded him lightly, entering the room and ignoring his Pokemon's grumbling. Skye never bothered to calm down Rama, it usually ticked him off more. Besides it was just an ego deflation. He'd get over it. Inside the class was a Breloom, the male recognized. He had seen one before but not up close. The worker in him pulled out his laptop and examined the Pokemon. It must belong to the teacher... or maybe itwas the teacher. Well there were stranger things, like him. He shied away from the door, making sure the teacher had room to enter. Rama huffed and laid on his foot.

Ciel

O-Oh... I think I've found it... hopefully. Ciel stood outside N's classroom door, fidgeting shyly. "Oh great..."

Young master you have to open the door at some point. Raph's reminder was as calm as ever.

"I know... just a bit nervous."

He won't set his dragon on you.

Ciel wore an expression similar to a glower. "I know!" His lower lip jutted out in a pout, making Raph laugh and his Absol growl curiously. Well at least it had figured that much out. Sighing, he knocked and opened the door.

"Erm..." he began hesitantly as he entered N's room. "Is this... is this Mr. Harmonia's class? "

Emmy smiled at the sight of a student. She plodded over to him.

"Bre he he beoom!" 'hi hi welcome!' Emmy said with a big smile.

Jason began heading back as he saw a near fight was averted. While he was still a ways off he saw someone enter his room. At this he picked up his pace and hurried to his room.

"uh hello. I was hoping I'd be back here before anyone arrived. Oh well no harm done. I'll be your teacher, Mr. Wolf, but please call me Jason." Jason said hurrying into the room.

He was mroe then a little nervious about his first day.

Oscar watched with a surprised face as Kilik suddenly pulled on the girl's tail, making it turn into a...Pokemon?! He barely knew anything about Pokemon from the Sinnoh and Unova regions, only knowing small facts about some of them. He had heard about a Pokemon that could transform into other ones and even humans, so this probably was that one. Still, Oscar was really amazed about seeing it transform with his own eyes. Not only that, it could TALK!

''How...how did...?'' He stuttered, then turned to Kilik for an explanation since he'd been the one to pull the Pokemon's tail, probably being it's trainer. As he awaited a response, he heard Mark explaining to him what the class was all about. Oscar gave him a small nod to show him that he understood.

Flora listened as Snype explained what they probably would be doing during this class. ''Yeah, I thought so too...we'll see when the teacher arrives, I guess...''

As she directed her thoughts to the chest once again, another Pokemon joined the group, expressing her desire to look inside the lock as well by jumping up and down. Wow, she was quite excited. Flora looked at her with a tilted head, trying to figure out what sort of Pokemon she was but gave up a moment later as she also didn't know much about Sinnoh and Unova.

As Snype let out a joke, Flora giggling slightly at it, Alexis suggested that a psychic Pokemon could help them. Wait, wasn't Meden part fighting and part psychic? She was pretty sure that he was!

''Oh I know someone then that can help us out, a Meditite! Should I go get him?'' She asked the group with a excited jump. Meden wasn't one to turn down people, even if he was kinda serious all the time.

While being somewhat lost in thought, it came to him that it wasn't Maylene's class. Curse him not memorizing his schedule! In any case, it wasn't Self-Defense, it was Training Methods...at least, he thought that's what it was called. All he remembered was that it was being taught by a guy named 'Wolf'. Where had he heard that name before? Maybe his mind was playing tricks on him.

In any case, he'd high-tail it out of the hall and towards the classroom, before screeching to a halt just a tad passed the door, practically out of breath as he stepped inside. "Su...fuaa...! Haa...s-sumimasen..!", he'd gasp out, clutching a hand to his chest as he stopped to catch his breath. "Haa...s-sorry...late...o-overslept..."

"whoa son whoa. catch your breath a second. You aren't late. A good number of students are still having breakfast." Jason said seeing the boy sprint into his room.

Emmy hurried over to the boy and looked him over. He was fine just out of breath, so she walked back over to the other boy witht he pokemon.

"Bre he loom?" 'what are your names?' Emmy asked.

"Come on take a seat. As I was jsut explaining I'm Jason Wolf. I'll be teaching you all advanced and new training metheods. For my first class it seems it'll be rather small, but no matter I think we'll just start wiht some introductions while we wait." Jason said sitting on the front of his desk.

To hear that he wasn't late, was a HUGE sigh of relief from Hiromu. He'd fall back on his rear and wipe the sweat from his brow, chuckling lightly before the teacher and his Breloom. "Phew! What a relief! And here I thought I'd already messed up the first day. Good thing I made my breakfast last night..", he said, getting up to a desk and placing a bento box from his bag in front of him. With a lick of his tongue, he'd open up the lid, fresh white rice, sweet fried eggs and assorted meats and veggies on the side waiting to be eaten.

"Uwaa! It came out perfectly!", he said with a hearty cheer, breaking out a pair of chopsticks and clasping his hands together. "Ittedakimasu~!", he called, before scarfing down his meal within what seemed like minutes. Hiromu may have been of Suicune dorm, but he sure as heck didn't act like it. But even so, his simple charm would make up for it.

Rafael heard the teacher ask everybody to make a fist and he did as he was told. He clenched his fingers together and made sure his fingers outside of his fingers. He then saw the girl next to him turn slightly and look at him. He then heard her introduce herself as Kat. He blushed a little bit and turned towards her and thought about taking a few steps towards her but decided against it.

" Nice to meet you Kat, I'm Rafael " He said in a voice loud enough that only the two of them could hear. I then walked towards the teacher and showed her my fist like she asked everybody to. He hoped that he did it right because he never got into a fight before.
