Hi there, My name is Shin. I'm currently hosting a draft league and require 10 more players to finish off my roster of 8 teams. teams are in threes, and we currently have 5. one of them is missing a player and we require 9 more to make 3 more teams.

the rules are as follows

Draft rules

Each season starts with a group of people, usually twelve and up, and then randomly picks four or more captains, each hosting three member teams, Including themselves. The captains pick their team members in a draft. Draft orders, as with the rest of the proceedings, are picked via random number generator, as to who goes first. Then the order reverses next round, and so on for a total of three rounds in which the first round has the person with the number one picking first, then the second has the one with the last number picking first, back to the first number.

Each team picks a total of twelve pokemon to use in the season, from different tiers. These twelve pokemon are then only usable to that team. The pokemon can be customized and move sets, abilities and items changed to what is needed at any time.

Team names can be any number of things, but are typically based on captain location, something from the pokemon universe, or a specific pokemon.

You are allowed 1 mega pokemon, and the non mega form can be used as well when chosen. However, this does not apply to any other pokemon you pick that can be mega evolved. On the mega you pick may hold a mega stone and evolve. You are allowed 3 OU tier pokemon, via Smogon ratings. You are from the same ratings, allowed 4 pokemon from UU and NU, And 4 pokemon from tiers lower than that. You are also only allowed to draft one Z crystal type.
Species Clause
A player cannot have two Pokemon with the same National Pokédex number on a team.
For example, using a team with two Koffing would break this clause.
Using different formes on the same team, such as Rotom-W and Rotom-C, also breaks the clause since they share the same Pokédex number (#479).
Sleep Clause
If a player has already put a Pokemon on his/her opponent's side to sleep and it is still sleeping, another one can't be put to sleep.
Evasion Clause
A Pokemon may not have either Double Team or Minimize in its moveset.
OHKO Clause
A Pokemon may not have the moves Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, or Sheer Cold in its moveset.
Moody Clause
A team cannot have a Pokemon with the ability Moody.
Endless Battle Clause
Players cannot intentionally prevent an opponent from being able to end the game without forfeiting.
For example, a Slowbro holding a Leppa Berry can create an endless battle using the moves Recycle, Heal Pulse, Slack Off, and Block. To do so, Slowbro traps one of the opponent's Pokemon, PP stalls it, and heals Struggle damage(edited)
indefinitely using Heal Pulse and Slack Off.
Baton pass is limited to one pokemon per team, but multiple drafted pokemon may learn it to be used in other teams.

Each player may have multiple teams at the ready.

Uber movesets of pokemon known to be in multiple tiers are banned.

If pokemon are present in multiple tiers on their official rankings, you must pick it as its current official listed ranking.

Depending on BL ranking, pokemon may be chosen as a pokemon from either of those tiers that it edges on in Bordeline. Meaning since crobat was at one point BL3, it can be used as either UU or OU.

Each team will have their own discord channel, private to them, where they can discuss strategy.

All final drafts of pokemon will be posted upon the Drafts channel for each team.
Every week round robin matches will be decided randomly, meaning each team will face each other once a week. each match will involve players randomized further in each team to play each other.
The acceptable formats are Pokemon Showdown and the most recent games
battle style consists of six pokemon teams, single battles.

also after some discussion with others who've done draft format before, a new rule is to be added. the mid-season redraft. this redraft allows teams to redo a total of four pokemon, drafting two again by dumping two pokemon, and trading two away.

Each match is worth a maximum of 3 points. Each match, due to how short a well played battle is, is played with 3 games, such as in VGC format. a loss is worth 1 point, a win is worth 3. each match should only really last around 30 minutes to an hour. in the event of a DC, you should continue using only the pokemon that weren't already KO'd. if using pokemon showdown, stay connected until they can reconnect.

my discord user is as follows

the league is fairly casual and has some unorthodox rules. we play mostly for fun, and hope to make new friends.

please drop in and give it a look to see if you want in.
