Just started a while ago, picked the female player, and named her Rosa. Selected German as my language.
Woke up to the pounding of a Fletching slamming into me. Tried to get outside in my PJs, but Mother insisted I wear the "special" outfit she picked out. I reluctantly complied, before being allowed out to meet up with Sannah (Shauna) and Kalem (Calem)
We went through the gates, and met with Tierno, and Trovato (Trevor) and I quickly ended up with the nickname "Lady-R" thanks to Sannah. Tierno gave me, Sannah, and Kalem, our choice of starters. I picked Fynx (Fennekin) and ended up with a female, whom I named Hazel. Trovato then gave us our Pokedexes, with Tierno giving my the letter to give to my mother. Just before I could turn to leave, Sannah challenged me. I quickly beat her Igamaro.
I gave the letter to my mother, before all of us ventured onto Route 1. Kalem gave the boring "how to catch a pokemon" tutorial, leaving Sannah amazed. not long after, I encountered a Taubsi (Pidgy) which I caught.
IRL, I was hanging near some children, and pondered out loud about what to name him. one of them suggested Sweet, and the other girl suggested Flight, then they both insisted on it. I complied. Flight it is.
We soon entered the forest, where Sannah followed me. In the forest, I came across a little Hornliu (Weedle). I never did use one, so I decided to try it out. I named him "Poisohn" Yes, a pun.
We exited the forest, and traveled down Route 3, where I met a Bidiza (Bidoof). I seriously considered just not catching it, but, rules of the Nuzlocke, and I didn't give it much of a chance to shine in the past either, so I figured "Well, why not?" and named it Zami.
Poisohn evolved into Kokuna (Kakuna), and Zami just BARELY made it to meet the minimum level.
On our short travels, Poisohn nearly got himself killed a few times, but I saved him with careful switching, and healed him up after the battles. Thankfully, most of the Pokemon that trainers had where weak enough to barely do anything!
