I'm also still at the Heal League. I havent been playing it as much rip. Still hanging on tho!!

Difference is that Charizard gives great items while Mudkip gives good items.

I assume Mudkip gives the lower valued items (Training Soda, Full Restore, Purse of Coins),
Charizard the higher valued items (Skill Restore, Power-Up, Sack and Mountain of Coins).

Aah. But doesn't Charizard also give Purse of Coins? So it's basically a lesser Charizard?

Also Charizard did spam me with LP Restores in my previous game. Maybe they balanced Charizard with the arrival of Mudkip

Just fished up my first pink Magikarp. Pretty happy about that.

I wonder if the next main series Pokemon game will include all these different patterns for the Magikarp.

I doubt for the main playthrough but I can see this as a sidequest or something.
