What have you always been interested in, but never tried?

I want to buy a drone and do aerial photography, but they are somewhat expensive and Id be worried about using it once and letting it gather dust after.

I've always kinda wanted to get into tabletop gaming and roleplay, but general anxiety is a pretty effective barrier which makes that about as likely to happen as winning the lottery.

Voice acting and singing. I've seen so many talented people show off their talents in these fields and have always wanted to try it. As a naturally quiet person (and someone who doesn't live alone at the moment), trying is hard. =c

Roleplay on here sounds like something I might consider.

Oh, that's really interesting! I'd want to get into some similar fields tbh, custom made weapons and staffs look super cool.

i've always wanted to try a roadtrip or some sort of adventure seeking that has to do with nature. maybe someday. i just hope to do it with someone and not alone, i hate traveling alone.

I really want to pick my violin up again and play it. It's been almost eight years since I've played it and I'm around a lot more people who play instruments.

Make a short movie & play an instrument or two well.

As for me, I wouldn't mind attempting to learn an instrument again but I have no talent for it. I've often thought about taking up other styles of dance or trying to cook as a hobby but time/effort/money.

I meant live-action roleplay, with costumes and things. I started text-based roleplaying on forums when I was around thirteen, haha. Although I quit a couple of years ago...I think I've probably fully explored that as a hobby.

Speaking of costumes, I'd love to make them, or just cosplay in general. But that's horrifyingly expensive and crafting has always been more of my mother's thing than mine...and cosplay is a lot like sex. When it's good, it's great, but when it's not...

I would if I could afford to, haha...good quality crafting materials cost quite a lot, and I need what little spare money I have to keep up with video game releases >.>

That said, drawing is cheap, and that's still art-based! :3

I think that's why I haven't explored a lot of solitary hobbies that I've thought about, though - everything costs money.

There's a lot of things I've always wanted to do but I can't seem to be able to think of any of them...

This is a hard one to come up with answers for since most things I've had an interest in I've started.

I want to start recording/streaming gameplay for games I play. I also want to learn to ride a motorcycle. I want to start working out. I want to build a homelab for computing. I want to learn to program in at least one or two languages. I want to dive into learning basic automation. I want to experiment with my own website. I want to do unboxing videos for merchandise I collect. I want to write more than once a decade. I want to up my involvement level in politics.

Maybe start singing more, too. Regularly walking for the sake of walking would be great, too.

Oh, and I want to regularly visit game shops/card shops to regularly play various CCGs/TCGs.

Actually, maybe not as hard as I thought, but I'm not sure all of those count as hobbies, per se.

These two posts make me want to follow up on one of my shower thought ideas from this weekend: running a tabletop RPG in Forum Games. Tabletop gaming is pretty good fun.

Though I will probably need to wait for LegendChu's event to end.
