This is one of those episodes that'll give you feels, as Big Mac tries to win back Applebloom's love for him after constantly getting overshadowed by Applejack, and then he learns in the end that Applebloom will always look up to him despite getting disqualified from the Sisterhooves Social, not because Big Mac is a stallion disguising himself as a mare, which was pretty hilarious, but for the damage he's done in the race. I just hope this episode doesn't start another flame war from Tumblr.

A very funny episode. and certainly makes up for last weeks meh offering. Lots of laughs from Big Mac in drag. plus lots of cute scenes with Rainbow and Scootaloo.
Really am beginning to wonder about Big Mac though first THE Princess dream and now this lol.
While I kinda wish Big Mac and Applebloom had not been disqualified and won, the emotional ending from Big Mac was excellent and I hope we see a lot more Big Mac in the future.

This episode is a painfully accurate portrayal on politics. Diamond Tiara as a Republican and Pipsqueak as a Democrat, Diamond Tiara using scare tactics to win votes, Pipsqueak promising things he's having trouble fulfilling, etc. Of course the main focus was redeeming Diamond Tiara from being one of my most hated characters ever, which I'm satisfied with. But then, out of nowhere, comes the CMC getting their cutie marks. And my reaction:

Let this be a lesson for us all, whenever an episode happens to be a musical, it means something big is happening for one of the characters. See the season 3 finale as a example.

Such a sweet and Brilliant episode, the musical format worked really well, Pinkie Pride is the only episode to have done a musical format better.
Kinda glad Diamond Tiara has reformed (and loved how her mums nose was naturally pointing up like a snob lol).
Glad the CMC's finally have their cutie marks. Also sad when Applejack talked about their parents and I hope their backstory is explored sometime.
I think this may be one of the last School episodes as with a friendly Diamond Tiara there is not really much you can do school story wise, so I think future CMC's episodes will be about their development outside of school.
Finally though the ending of the photo shoot and sending it to Celestia and Luna was great, just like in the main theme sequence lol

What a great episode, of course the secret was nothing to surprising as we all knew a Shining and Cadance were going to have a baby sometime but os nice to know its now a thing and a future thing to look towards to episode wise.
Great to see an episode with the whole mane six assembled in Ponyville, something we have not for a few episodes and nice to see the CMC's and their cutie marks again.
Pinkie Pie was very funny and I think we can all empathise with her, keeping that secret we want to tell everyone is not much fun lol.

Oh why must the premise of this episode have to remind me of the big Nintendo News several well-known users like Rogersbase have seen but can't tell anyone what's part of it, other than the upcoming DLC fighter for Smash? Unlike that leak, Pinkie Pie tried her hardest not to spoil a single bit of Shining Armor and Cadence's baby surprise, and it was almost killing her throughout the whole episode. Although she wouldn't get fired for spilling the beans, she'll have to suffer the rest of her life breaking a Pinkie Promise. And way to ruin a valuable comic book, Spike.

Was anyone baffled that they aired last week's episode and this week's episode in the wrong order? Last week's was marked as Episode 20, and this week's was marked as Episode 19. Even more baffling is that they aired a Christmas episode, on OCTOBER. We haven't seen Pinkie Pie's family in a long time since the first season, or third season if you count Trixie's flashback, and good golly nothings changed about them, though we do get to see Pinkie's other sisters all grown up. Maud Pie was the real show stealer, especially in the end. I just now there's going to be shipping fanarts on Big Mac and Marble Pie, despite being technically cousins.

A very fun episode to watch and another one were we have met a few new characters aswell as seeing old favourites (Maud is a funny as ever). Marble was adorable (and another ship for Big Mac, Cheerilees got competition). Limestone was kind scary lol.
Also I do love how Pinkies family are practically Calvinists.
The re-enactment of the heartswarming eve was funny to.

Although the episode is officially broadcast on Saturday as your probably well know it was leaked on itunes a month or two back so ive have a copy I have have managed to resist watching until today.
A great episode all in all, Fluttershy was adorable and it was great fun how she went from being totally terrified of the night to being the one who totally terrified everyone else.
The costumes were all cool (Applejacks lion being the best) also did anyone else so the pony cosplaying as Twilight in the maze (Twilight was in shot to)?
Glad to see the (sort of) return of Flutterbat and enjoyed Rainbow Dash being a sarcastic jerk to Fluttershy and the other ponies shutting her up (she commonly did that in season one but it seems to happen less now).
Maybe the episode could have done with a bit more background ponies though.

I've heard this episode got leaked from iTunes a month ago, though I was unable to see it, as I don't have an iTunes account. I had to wait for it to air on TV like everyone else. Now for the episode itself, it's a Fluttershy-centric episode, which we haven't gotten for a while this season, where she has to face to fears on Nightmare Night, but ultimately decides not to celebrate the holiday afterwards, because she's afraid of hurting her friends by intentionally scaring them. At least she's no soccer mom. That horse mask was the spoopiest costume out of all the costumes in this episode; yes, even the fake skeletal Granny Smith.
