Santa's Murdershop 2018
'Twas the week before Christmas, when all through the North Pole,
A lot of trouble was brewing, from a dangerous soul;
The Snow Queen had come out her castle so fair
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;
Her children were ready, weapons in hand
With visions of death ravaging the land;
Their mama had plans, that they were sure

Rules
- All PokéCommunity rules apply.
- No Private Messaging other players about the game.
- Any discussion of the game should be kept in this thread.
- Do not post here once you have been killed or otherwise removed from the game.
- Do not post during the Night Phase.
- Night actions should be sent to me by PM or via Discord (Nakuzami#0743).
- If you're not using your night action, PM/Discord me saying as much.
- Each player gets one vote per day phase, which may be changed at any time.
- If your vote is not in the format of [b]##Vote[/b] Player, it will not be counted.
- If you wish to change your vote, first put [b]##Unvote[/b] Player before casting your new vote.
- Plurality Vote. This means that the player with the most votes will be lynched, even if they only have one or two votes on them.
- Mafia Hammer Vote. This means that the final mafia member to vote on a night kill will be the one to carry it out.
Roles
The Winter Village
SantaThe man of the hour, who will always find out if you're naughty or nice. Each night, Santa may choose two other players, selecting one to investigate in order to learn whether they belong on the naughty or the nice list or on neither list at all, and one to give a gift to. The gift can be one of either a Jelly Bean Blaster (gun), an Ugly Sweater (vest), a Candy Cane Shank (knife), a Crystal Ball, a Snowball, or a piece of Gingerbread. Additionally, Santa will not receive a naughty or nice report if another player visits him during the night.
Mrs. Claus (Party Host/Granny)The lonely wife of the big man in red. Since Santa always leaves her on the most important night of the year, she's taken to finding alternate ways to get into the Christmas spirit. Once during the game, Mrs. Claus can throw a bangin' rager of a party, allowing all of the citizens of the North Pole to gather together in drunken merriment for one Night Phase, allowing them to speak in the thread as normal. This does not affect any night actions, but, as the good hostess she is, she'll make sure everyone is well fed, restoring their hunger and giving them a day to save up any gingerbread they've hoarded for themselves. Additionally, she takes every other night to mourn her lonely holiday season, so she will viciously slaughter anyone that visits her during the night. She will not do this during the night of the party, however!
Penguin x2Each night, the Penguins may each visit another player and tell them a random secret. These secrets can contain various forms of information, but the Penguin has no control over what secret is told nor will the Penguin know what secret ends up being told. If roleblocked, the Penguin will be informed that a ferocious seal blocked their way. Once during the game, if either Penguin visits the other, the Penguins will mate and all night actions for that night, including killing actions, will be blocked.
SnowmanThe resident, suspiciously animated pile of snow of the North Pole. Each night, the Snowman can give a Snowball to another player. These Snowballs can be thrown during the day to roleblock the player they're thrown at during the following night. The Snowman is immune to the effects of Snowballs.
GhostThe literal spirit of Christmas. Once dead, the Ghost can choose to haunt a living player each night, roleblocking them. They're kinda useless while they're alive, though.
CarolerAn annoying little singer that goes door to door trying to spread Christmas cheer. Each night, the Caroler may sing to another player, with the song consisting of the names of three other players, at least one of which is mafia. If the player that the Caroler sings to is visited by anyone else during the same night, they will not hear the Caroler's song. The Caroler also cannot sing to the same player on consecutive nights.
Robin HoodThe good natured prince of thieves. Each night, Robin Hood may rob all of the items from one player and give them to another player. He will fail this action if he tries to give the items to any player not aligned with the town.
Gingersmith (Baker)The loving baker of the North Pole. Each night, the Gingersmith may give out a piece of Gingerbread to two separate players, giving them food to survive famine. The Gingersmith has their own supply of Gingerbread and so cannot die of famine at any point.
Mischievous Stowaway (Party Crasher/Troublemaker)A sneaky little child that stashed away on Santa's sleigh and is now stirring up trouble all over the North Pole. Each night, the Mischievous Stowaway can give a Jelly Bean Blaster (gun) to another player, but this gun can only be used on a night when either a party or a blizzard occurs. Additionally, once during the game, they can stir up trouble. When trouble has been stirred, the town will have two lynches during the following day.
Candy Cane Operative (Vigilante)A small, candy cane wielding elf that's the best at what they do. Each night, the CCO can choose another player to kill. If they visit the same person as the mafia, the CCO dies. If they mafia kills the CCO, the CCO's kill will fail to go through.
Elf x3Santa's little helpers. Each of them can do something that only they know about!
The Mafia
Snow QueenThe mistress of ice who can, once per game, create a blizzard that will occur the next night. During a blizzard, all players will lock themselves into their homes and all actions, except for killing actions, will be blocked.
Rogue Elf (Saboteur/Fabricator)An elf fed up with being forced into Santa's abusive tactics and slave labor. Each night, they can choose two players to visit, sabotaging any Jelly Bean Blasters that the first target has, and giving out a fake item of their choice to the second target. Oddly, they might accidentally repair a Jelly Bean Blaster their first target is holding if it was already sabotaged or faked!
Spoiled Brat (Thief/Grave Robber)An incredibly greedy child that wants every single gift their heart desires. Each night, they can rob another player. They can rob either living or dead players. If they rob a living player, they will steal one item at random from that player. If they rob a dead player, they will receive all items that that player held, as well as any reports that that player had received. Does not participate in the mafia chat, but knows who their teammates are.
Heat Miser (Arsonist)A total hothead that would honestly just prefer an eternal summer, so the North Pole irritates him. Each night he can mark another player, and once during any day phase he can choose to set all marked player aflame, killing them. He does not attend mafia meetings, and additionally he cannot win as long as the Snow Queen is alive. That whole ice thing, y'know?
Third Party
Missile Toe or FoeThere was a time when all the Mistletoe wanted to do was make everyone fall in love, but nowadays she's a bit more unpredictable. Each night, she may target two players, randomly causing them to either fall in love (this "love" does not act as a Lover effect) or to wish for nothing more than to fight one another. If the latter occurs, the two targets will become Rivals (while retaining their previous roles) with one another, meaning that neither can win while the other survives. If the targets are of differing alignments, they will always become Rivals. The Missile Toe or For wins when all players are in love or in a rivalry.
TurkeyThis Turkey ran away from the Thanksgiving feast to which it was intended to be sacrificed, and now famine follows its every step. The Turkey being present in the game causes an immediate famine, and all players begin the game with three pieces of Gingerbread. The Turkey is immune to the famine. If the turkey is killed during the day or lynched, every player will receive a slice of Turkey, which acts the same as Gingerbread. The Turkey wins by being the last one alive, or by outnumbering the other players if more than one Turkey is present.
AngelThe ultimate Christmas tree topper. The Angel is assigned one other random player at the start of the game, and wins if their target is alive when the game ends. Once during the game, the Angel can choose to save their target. If their target dies that night or gets lynched during the next day, the Angel will die instead. If their target does not die during this period, the Angel's action is still used up.
