i caught kyurem in white the other day, and i only now realize that it's a SHINY kyurem. amazing! my first shiny ever to not have come from an event! and i didn't even notice it until now...i'm still happy!

3. I've been playing twelve years and I've still yet to catch/encounter a shiny that wasn't scripted or an event or a cheat. Wait... maybe that Ditto in my old Silver file was one.

5. Second generation has some cool music. I really like the Dance Hall music. It's very Japanese in style, and sounds so cool in the midi form in Gold. ^_^

9. I liked 3rd gen tracks better than most 4th and 5th gen tracks, to be honest.

11. The route theme (forget whether it was the second or third one you're introduced to on the routes), the E4, Victory Road, and most of the FRLG themes stick in my head the most.

i remember a lot of the 3rd gen music...mainly because my sister never got a ds pokemon game and she got emerald from my brother and she pesters us a lot about it...the internal battery died, and she was freaking out the other day for hours because she can't get a seedot and i have to trade her one. surprisingly, even though she snapped the screen off her sp, we can still use it to trade.

14. I think we should coordinate weekly featured threads, just by linking to them in a "Thread of the Week" sticky. Maybe.
