You might wanna get people to clarify the range of their magics, considering that most people here have multiple overpowered magics. For example, Sky God-Slayer magic means the character is both strong offensively AND can self heal - to then have two further magics on top of that is crazy.

The Canon-magic would suggest people have one type of magic, or two closely related magics. Just a warning as you will find that many of these characters are going to be over-powered.

yep I will get on that, thanks for pointing it out, if you have lots of magic then it is hard to master them but if you have one magic then it will be moderate to train (if its sky god slayer magic then it will be very difficult without putting oneself in a dangerous position)

Name: Fawkes "Pheonix" Lucifer

Magic Type:
- Fire Magic (One of his starting magics)
- Sword Magic (His other starting Magic)
- The Gunner (Gained mid-way through the Roleplay)

Personality: Fawkes is very cold when you first meet him. He points out ALL of your flaws, makes crude jokes at the expense of your pride, and tut-tuts you anytime he feels you've done something wrong. This, however, is a facade. A well built, carefully thought out facade that he puts up to hide his self-hurt and anger at the world. Fawkes has a generally negative few towards the world and is very cynical, but this is understandable considering what he witnessed at such a young age. Once you get to know him, you start figure out that he's a good man, and that he would gladly die for you, even if you still don't know him very well. He's truly selfless, and would do anything in order to help a friend or acquainance. Pheonix takes battle very seriously, and sees it as an opportunity to prove himself to whomever it may concern. The only way he gives up is through death, and death alone. Defeat is a motivator for him, and he takes each oppurtunity to grow stronger and stronger, some would say "Reborn."

History: Fawkes was born to a family of good-hearted people. They raised him well until he was around six years old. It was then that a guild of bandits raided his home and killed both of them. They didn't know the cowering child in the corner, watching the brutal murder of his parents. That's when his first negative opinion of the world formed. When he left his home, everybody refused to take him. He was forced to live a life of begging and petty thievery. This went on until he turned sixteen, and a wizard from Fairy Tail took pity on him, and took him.

This wizard, by the name of Calder, began to teach Fawkes the ways of a wizard, specificially sword magic. Calder drilled Fawkes in sword magic until the lad became a master with it. After Calder felt that his apprentice was ready he granted him his first sword, a longer-than-average longsword that he named Rising Pheonix. The blade grew to be a part of Lucifer's soul. His still displayed cold and disaffectionate behavior towards everyone other than Calder, but he was still accepted into the guild at the wizard's request. He has been serving with the guild ever since.

Personality:

Lazarus is typically calm and collective. Even in the face of impending doom he would not lose control of himself. This characteristic is important for his ability to control his Arc of Time magic, for without he would more than likely make poor decisions. Along with this characteristic of collectiveness is his serious nature. Even while he's not working he is constantly trying to learn new ways to use his magic. For instance, Lazarus spent years trying to learn ways to combine and compound his Arc of Time magic with his Gravity magic until finally learning how to alter the Black Hole spell through other spells, such as Infinite Sphere.

As previously mentioned, Lazarus is a serious person, but that isn't to say he doesn't have a sense of humor, just that he rarely use it. Usually he shows his more laid back side around Damien, whom he sees as a brother figure and friend. Often he makes smart-ellic remarks and jokes about other guilds. That is pretty much where his humor ends, though. He isn't the type to do a prank and would rather spend his time doing something productive, even while joking and messing around. Usually this means doing jobs, since many of the ones he prefers to take require multiple people.

One thing Lazarus is very disdainful of is when people try to bring up his past. How he was treated growing up wasn't a particularly fun time for him, and in most cases he would rather forget about it. Even people who are considered close to him know better than to mention his past and only two people have ever done so and survived. Those two are Master Jiemma and Damien.

History:

Lazarus' was born into a family of mages, but as a young child he showed no talent at magic. His family was a group of well known wind mages, but when Lazarus showed no ability to use wind magic they quickly turned on him. They abandoned him while visiting Magnolia, after which he wandered about as a child would. Confused and alone, he searched for a way to live, but a child in the capital of a kingdom of magic with apparently no talent for magic was at disadvantage. It wasn't until an elderly looking man came and took him in that he actually found any meaning in life. The man never told Lazarus his name, nor did he ask for Lazarus'. The only thing the man did was explain a quest of his; to find the origins of magic. He was five at the time.

In this man's quest he had gathered hundreds of thousands of books related to ancient and powerful magic including one that Lazarus quickly became attached to. Only pieces of the magic could be found, but by reading numerous tomes he began to learn more and more. He discovered that not all mages are adept at certain kinds of magic and that even families with long histories may produce children unable to control their specialty, such as Lazarus and his family. This spurned him to learn what he could perform, and with that he began to practice the magic that had occupied his interest. Years passed until his thirteenth birthday when he finally came under control of a magic even the old man had not mastered. It was a magic known as Arc of Time, a magic that could literally control the time of non-sentient objects. With this magic he knew he could not only control the time of objects around him, but with time he would control his own future. Within a few years of him learning his magic the old man had disappeared and Lazarus was once again alone. By this point he is sixteen.

Now he searched for a new place to belong to, but unlike before he had an air confidence and sustainability. His time with the old man had hardened him to what he is today. The revelation of power bestowed upon by knowledge was unquenchable, and Lazarus had heard of places specifically made for mages. These places were known as guilds and the one he had heard the most of was guild known as Fairy Tail. He knew that that would be the place for him to learn even more and to prove to himself that his meant something. One thing that soon became clear to him was that plans change with increasingly unusual circumstances.

While on his quest to join Fairy Tail he met an unusual man. He claimed to be the leader of the strongest mage guild, but he wasn't talking about Fairy Tail, instead he called his guild Sabertooth. At the time Lazarus had never heard of guild known as Sabertooth, so when the man mentioned them Lazarus was rather skeptical. The man continued to talk about the elite nature of Sabertooth, as well as mentioning that his name was Jiemma. Lazarus was quickly buying in on how strong Sabertooth sounded and that it may be the guild for him. They continued to talk for some time until Jiemma asked him about his past and why he was there. Lazarus was extremely irritated by this and insulted Jiemma, which then prompted a fight between the two. The fight didn't last very long as Jiemma quickly overpowered Lazarus, but even though he lost he still managed to impress Jiemma. After their fight was over Lazarus was invited to join Sabertooth, and with no better options at the time he obliged. He was seventeen when he joined Sabertooth.

The early years at Sabertooth were interesting. One of the higher ups, Damien, had been training for a solo mission when the second fight involving his past had occurred. In a similar fashion as before he replied with insults and verbal attacks, though in this instance it had been very unwise. Damien was a veteran in the guild and his magic was equally, if not more, powerful than Lazarus'. At first, the fight was not much more than a cat playing with a mouse, as Damien toyed around with Lazarus. Attack after attack seemed to do very little to the veteran even though Lazarus had given his all. Finally, Lazarus mustered up the strength to use one last attack focused on creating a nearly endless series of possibilities through Infinite Sphere. The attack actually did quite a bit of damage to Damien, which jolted him into taking the match seriously. Moments before Damien launched his attack someone had nullified their magic and ended their match. Later it would be learned that the person had been Damien's father.

Due to Lazarus' abilities in the match Jiemma had tasked him to watch over Damien for odd behavior. At first he didn't approve of his task, but in time he developed a type of friendship with Damien that he more than likely wouldn't have had if he hadn't of been tasked with watching over him. Time passed and Lazarus developed a secondary magic to use that would be less stressful on his body. He settled on gravity magic since it seemed to be something he could be adept with, which, given his history of wind magic, was ironic. After years of practicing and working to combine the two types of magic he was successful, though it was still very difficult for him to control. Additionally, during this time he began to grow suspicious of Damien, as his behavior seemed to change. Lazarus started researching types of magic that could control or limit Damien if need be, which brings us to now.

Personality: Damien has always been a very respectable person. Even at a young age he showed respect to almost everybody and anybody that he believed deserves it. The ones in his eyes that deserve respect are mainly people in the guild or others who show superior power. The others he would still show respect but less so compared to what he usually shows. With Damien being a very respectable person he usually never talks out of line, making him what most people would say a quite person, but it is only based off of his respect to others. Damien seems to hide one side of him. He is much friendlier to people inside the guild, though when he is outside he is quiet and trying not to pick fights, show off, or do anything else that would draw attention to him. Damien gained many of his traits from his training, not only being respectful, but also being very patient. He knows that if a person is too impatient they begin to show more weaknesses. Damien abuses the fact that he is a very patient person with most people not having much patience. His patience allowed him to become a very calm and controlled person so that not many people or things could anger him. He was always able to keep his emotions behind him and important matters ahead. Throughout his life so far there has only been one event where Damien could not control himself. One other trait that Damien got from his training was intellect. All his training made him to be a much more intellectual person. Damien isn't the smartest person in the world but he is still much smarter than your average person. The one odd thing many found out about Damien was that he seems to be very interested in the Book of Zeref. Not many knew how important seeing the book was to Damien, not even the people he cares about.



History: Damien was born into the guild Sabertooth. Both his parents were part of it, and it was only natural for him to be a member as well. His parents were good friends with the leader of the guild. Everybody knew though that once Damien was born they were only using him to create what some would consider a "super weapon." Damien was only alive because his parents wanted the same no matter how much they showed love they really only wanted him for that one reason along with the rest of the guild. At the young age of three Damien began his training to become the guild's "super weapon." He was trained his whole life until he was at the age of 25 where the guild finally let him continue on his own.

Immediately after his training he was introduced to a younger boy named Lazarus Giovinco. Lazarus was about eight years younger than Damien having quite a big age difference. Lazarus seemed to be not exactly up to strength in Damien's eyes. Added to the age gap Damien saw Lazarus as someone to protect, though when he asked Lazarus about his past things quickly went south. Damien wanted to teach him a lesson he wouldn't forget, so they ended up fighting. The fight lasted some time only due to the pure fact Damien toyed with the kid, but once Lazarus launched a full scale attack on him things got serious. Damien immediately grew tired of the kid and began to strike back with everything he had. Even though Damien was able to keep calm all the time this kid got to Damien. Where once the kid was knocked out indicating the fight was over and Damien won, but to Damien it wasn't over. Damien threw everything he had at Lazarus, as he wanted to not only beat Lazarus, but kill him too. Just before the attack hit Damien's father came into the room using his nullification magic to cancel out Damien's attack saving the boys life. Time passed where Damien didn't do much for about two years.

After two years of meeting the new boy both of Damien's parents died from a mission they were set out on. The mission to this day is still unclear to everybody on what it exactly was. After his parents died Damien fell into a great depression. It lasted a year where Damien just hated everybody, and never wanted to make contact with anybody. The year was a dark year for Damien, but when it passed he began to wonder why the mission his parents set out on were kept from him. Damien began researching this, which helped to lead him out of his depression. After a bit of research Damien realized his parents knew something about the Book of Zeref. With not much more clues other than it having something to do with the book, Damien immediately grew an interest in the book itself and began to research it. He found many things on and about the book, but none really mentioning about his parents.

Once Damien hit a dead end on his parents' mission he knew he had to carry on in his life. He went on becoming much stronger than ever almost trying to prove to somebody or something that he is worthy. Nobody, not even Damien knows exactly why he went out to become even more powerful than he already was seeing that he was already strong to begin with. Even with him seeming to have hit a dead end with his parents' mission he continues to this day on the Book of Zeref research where he now seems that to be doing the research for his parents' death anymore. It's now about him wanting the book for himself so that he can to learn what it speaks of.

Drakath brings up a good point. I was also wondering if Succubus Eye would even be a viable guild since they are a Dark Guild (which I recall they aren't allowed to take legal missions). Also, Dements is that guy I was talking about.

Personality: Matthew is Mischievous though he is Kind and Friendly. He is also a Fiercely Loyal and Protective Friend. He also helps anyone whos asks for help. He is a Fast learner, at a very young age he was able to master the White Dragon Slayer Magic taught by his dragon parent. He is also a very skilled swordsman though he did not learn any sword magic. He rarely ever reciprocates the feelings and often forgoes grudge-holding. Unlike the other dragon slayers, Matthew isn't experiencing motion sickness from riding on any form of transportation.

History: Matthew was born in a Mountain Village in Fiore. When He Was 5, his village was attacked by a dark guild. The whole village was almost destroyed by the dark guild, however a white dragon named Crystallux emerged and killed every dark mage in the village. Only a Few villagers survived. Sadly, Matthew's parents did not survive the attack. Crystallux adopted Matthew and taught him White Dragon Slayer magic. Matthew mastered the White dragon slayer magic at the age of 10. Unlike the other Dragon slayers, Matthew isn't suffering from motion sickness when riding different kinds of vehicles. Matthew was very thankful to Crystallux that he taught him everything he knew. On The year July 7 x777, Crystallux Mysteriously disappeared, leaving Matthew to travel for the next years.

During Matthew's Travels, Matthew became a skilled swordsman at the age of 12. When he was traveling in the woods, he saw a wizard who fainted while fighting some monsters in the woods. He helped the mysterious wizard without any hesitation. The Mysterious wizard thanked Matthew and infused him some of his Shadow Powers in order for Matthew to Gain the White Shadow Dragon Mode. While in this mode, Matthew becomes stronger and wields the power of Both Light and Darkness however after using this mode Matthew becomes exhausted easily and sometimes faints. After 3 years, Matthew is starting to master the White Shadow dragon mode. He does not get exhausted as fast as before and he does not faint anymore after using this mode. After a year of training, Matthew found the famous guild called "Fairy Tail" and joined. He met a lot of new friends and helped him to become stronger. He also met some dragon slayers and found out that their dragon parent also mysteriously vanished on the year July 7 x777. Matthew now continues his journey with Fairy Tail in order to find Crystallux.

@Dements there is no shadow god slayer magic so you cannot use that however you may use Shadow dragon magic.

Yes it is illegal because killing is still viewed as bad

Currently it is 9:44 and I am reading monster hunter orage thanks to yamagi saying someyhing about it so before he spoiled anymore I decided to read it.

I'm loving the new people joining :) But Im seeing way too much potential for Godmodding. Arghh, i don't want to ruin it for anyone but I don't want this to end up dying because of the possible overbearing of powers.

Maybe I can help out a bit if you guys don't mind. Like just little stuff that I've noticed.

@YG: I love your magic and your app. The only is that, Light and Dark magic are very broad areas. Is your Dark magic like Darkness Magic or was it meant to be something else ?

@~Genevieve~: I can see why your have Demon's Eye and Living magic. Not quite sure what their gonna do with a rough and tumble chick like yourself. I don't believe you'll Godmod with your magic so I vote for letting you keep it :) But then that wouldn't be fair. Ultimately the decision is up to Chuckles. Your Arc of Time magic is plenty strong enough though, I say couple that with another moderately powerful magic and you got yourself something FUROUS !

@Colony: Arc of Time is a lost magic and since we're banning living magic and such, it sorta leaves my girl G up there with little left. I think only one person should be using one lost magic at a time, Dragon Slayer elements and God Slayer elements aside. The rest I think is cool though.

@Dements: Also, I sorta think its okay to add GS elements in tandem with the DS elements. A Shadow GS for a Shadow DS. Just my thoughts on that little discussion.

@Drakath: In the manga, they weren't able to use both magics separably, I think. If I'm remembering right than its mostly like they have their DS magic and then its like they ate another element and when entering that mode could use it in conjunction with the original. So, if Chuckles agree, I would say take either White or Shadow Dragon Slayer and keep the Mode afterwards. Or if he doesn't care then I don't care, just pointing it out.

Again, these are only opinions and such. Just something that could help with the possible look of Godmodding in the thread. Also, don't hate me for this. I use to be Staff on a FTRP site; It comes second nature to me. That, coupled with the fact that I love FT has made me somewhat of a douchebag when it comes to it. lol

@Yamagi: The only problem I have with losing Arc of Time would be that my character's history is based around him learning it, and if it were changed it would require a complete overhaul of my SU and a moderate change to Dements' SU as well. It's not as simple as just changing the magic type either, since it played a rather big role in his childhood, joining Sabertooth, and what types of magic to learn later. If I must change then I will, but it would be a much greater inconvenience than necessary.
