Song of Life
Alto Mare was once a peaceful village, filled with life and music. But one day, during the Harvest Goddess Festival, something went terribly wrong. A young boy accidentally played the wrong note during his part in The Song of Life. His mistake caused the people to grow hostile towards each other, thinking that his mistake would upset the Harvest Goddess. They stopped playing music all together, and because of that, the Harvest Goddess lost her power, and Alto Mare suffered a terrible fate. The crops were destroyed by swarms of locusts, the fish died from the pollution that the water had been cursed with. As the village fell apart, everyone in town left. Music had died. But now, seven young people have been drawn to Alto Mare for one reason or another. These people are destined to restore Alto Mare it's former glory. With the help of returning villagers, will they be able to fulfill their destiny?
Summary of Plot
This RP is a bit of a sandbox RP, but it does have a plot divided into three chapters. The first chapter is about people finding their way to Alto Mare and restoring the buildings that have been destroyed and abandoned. Once these building are restored, more people start coming back to the town and reopen their shops. The second chapter will focus on finding the Sacred Instruments, which are required to play the Song of Life to return the Harvest Goddess to her full power, and in the process, the island begins to become healthier, more vibrant, and musical. The third chapter is the main sandbox chapter, where the characters live their everyday life once the island is back to normal. If anyone has suggestions for more plot/chapter ideas after Chapter 2 is over, PM me and we can talk about possibly adding it into the plot, I love world building with other RPers.
