It'll play Unown's cry. If you want to remove it, all you need to do is nop the call to the cry playing routine. It should be in the area where the pokemon number is for that. If you need more help, quote me and I'll get back to you.

Well, my instructions still stand. Use VBA-SDL-H to set a breakpoint on the pokemon cry routine (0x08071DF0) and look at where it was called from (using r14, otherwise known as lr). Google the tool I mentioned and look at the readme.
