Hi, new here

I got a Munchlax at level 53 from underground and finally got her to level up to Snorlax.
The reason I want a Snorlax is to have both Block and Yawn to easily catch Mesprit without it fleeing. How do I get my Snorlax to learn those moves or can someone recommend an easier way to catch Mesprit?
Thanks x

You need to visit the Move Reminder. Snorlax gets Block at Lv. 1 and Yawn at Lv. 12

Tbh though my preferred capture pokémon is Gallade. Snorlax is particularly bad as if a legendary is faster than you then every time they wake up you would lose at minimum 3 pp from their limited moves before they begin to Struggle. 1 on the turn they wake, 2 on the turn you Yawn, and then 3 on the turn before they fall asleep.

I make my capture Gallade like so: Breed a Male Ralts with Mean Look, then teach Hypnosis (Lv. 1), False Swipe (Lv. 23), and Swords Dance (Lv. 28). I bred mine with 31 HP and Atk IVs then EV-trained it but I don't think that's necessary if you're willing to grind it to an incredibly high level.
Mean Look - good for roaming legendaries like Mesprit
Hypnosis - Sleep is the best status for captures
False Swipe - ensures you don't KO the pokémon (unless they know a recoil move or are inadverse weather)
Swords Dance - False Swipe is really weak.

I also make it hold Leftovers. I've had great success with this in Platinum so it'll work fine in the remakes.
