ALRIGHT LADIES AND THOSE WHO DON'T IDENTIFY AS LADIES

What style of writing do you consider yourself to be? More dramatic? Romantic? Adventurous? Murderous?

All in all, how do you write when it comes to roleplaying? Are you light-hearted and funny, or is your humour much more dark and brooding? Perhaps you love to add that dash of quirkiness to the roleplay, sticking out from the slew of other players with your odd dialogue and antics. What kinds of idiosyncrasies do you have, and what kinds of words or plot points tend to rear their head when you write? How does this affect the kind of roleplays you join? Or, do you consider yourself flexible - appreciating or adapting to the scenarios as need be?

Or, do you even care about this? Have you thought about this at all when it comes to roleplaying - or even your regular writing at all?

♦♦♦ 1974 - 1976 ♦♦♦

The idea was retooled into the coin-operated Monster Legend Arcade and the Color-TV Game 15: Kimenacolor Creature !! during their prospects in gaming; though menial profits provoked experimentation with more unique platforms.

♦♦♦ 1977 - 1987 ♦♦♦

The first Game & Watch is developed, containing Pocket Monsters: Portable Adventure. Subsequent systems became a smash hit, and the company found itself focusing solely on the franchise; tiding fans with a strong series of core games on the Nintendo Entertainment System and spin-offs such as Pocket Monster Pinball and Catch 'Em Light Tennis.

♦♦♦ YOU, THE WONDER TRADE, AND ITS "PERKS!" ♦♦♦

Players can create up to two customizable trainers allotted
five ITEM slots for anything they may find or need and are equipped with GBC-like devices that provide a creature encyclopedia, an instant messenger, and the ability to
trade and battle with anybody at any time!

Though early on we discovered some continuously traded less desirable monsters in hopes they would reap the benefits of those sending out good ones! But thanks to our recent patch, the game effectively stifles this abuse: when a monster is traded or caught in the wild it is given a special "perk" that will help on your travels, so that every trade is a useful one.

██████████████████████<危険なGEARS1> OKay So THIS has never worked correctly
"WONDER TRADE" willrandomly trade your monsters with others, for sometimes even nothing
<危険なGEARS1> and those perKS didn't work neith▓r until I got here
<危険なGEARS1> I thought it INterESTinG if they actually hindered you instead
<危険なGEARS1> to give y'all a challenge since nothing works correctly ;3████████████████████

♦♦♦ A WILD POCKET MONSTER APPEARS! ♦♦♦

Capturing monsters is as simple as weakening one and throwing a CAPSULEBALL! You're permitted three PARTY slots, and once those are filled, captured monsters will take up an ITEM slot and be unusable until swapped into your party. Each species has a variety of dual-typing possibilities that gives them access to two kinds of powers - none of them are specifically damaging to another, so your strategy will have to be creative. Train your teammates during your travels and they might evolve into stronger versions of their species!

Monsters who've unhinged their subconscious, granting power from the ethereal world and the cold vastness of space!

The mortal element - they have complete control of the tangible, physical energies that root from primal instinct!

Whether filtered or unpurified, these monsters are ready to soak any opponent who crosses their path!

If you can shield your eyes from their brilliance, you’ll notice their aptitude to bend light rays and create lightning!

Because of their oneness with the rigid side of the planet, you’ll need some strong attacks to pierce through their defenses!

The kinds of extraordinary powers these monsters wield feels like it came straight out of a magical tale!

Watch out for trainers using this type – the powers of the earth are unlimited, and these ones find use in the ecosystem itself!

Opponents who've perfected the art of manipulating airwaves, possessing niche talents that might give them an edge!

These creatures have the remarkable talent for changing the surrounding climate to their liking. Prepare for a strange battle!

There’s bad blood running through these guys! They utilize all kinds of dastardly energies ranging from disease to darkness itself!

A type that’s adapted to the domestic world with a variety of interesting moves – some of these critters are even artificial!

<危険なGEARS1> An umbrella term for BroKen mOves or Monsters that cause strange or unintended effeCts through corrrrupted data.

<TRAINWRECK> I sent “Gears” a couple messages but I don't think he’s been on here in years ... it's pretty eerie though ... seeing those infected characters moving on their own

<WINENDINE?> i guess theyre attracted to quest scripts but its weird they like they train and sleep in beds at night

<MUSH_ROOMY> What did you even do down here? I can’t tell where this "autoexec" glitch is. Since we can’t just delete players -- maybe hacking into the trading system will help.

How I write depends largely on the character I'm playing. When I'm writing Giron then my posts are very light-hearted and quirky but when I write Alex I tend to give my posts a more serious tone.

Well, my writing isn't all that great as I've done it mostly for fun, but I think I tend to keep things more light-hearted. I can't, for the life of me, write romance. Probably because I've participated in little myself, but I absolutely suck at it.

I do have a bit of a witty sense of humor, so that probably comes through most of my writing.

Yeah it depends on the character I'm playing. But for the most part a mix of serious and playfulness is what I usually try to go for. Too much seriousness can make it boring and too much playfulness could make it annoying. I don't make cookie cutter characters that I can just say "I always do x, y and z" for.
