Gen 1: Don't have a clear favourite
Gen 2: Probably Croconaw, although Bayleef is cute
Gen 3: I prefer Grovyle and Marshtomp over Combusken
Gen 4: Don't have a clear favourite
Gen 5: Difficult to choose between Servine and Dewott
Gen 6: Frogadier is my favourite here, followed by Braixen
Gen 7: Torracat is my favourite here

I think Charizard is a great Pokemon, although a bit overrated compared to Venusaur and Blastoise.

I like Charizard, but it is definitely overrated.

I agree. I actually find Typhlosion overrated as well.

Nah, Typhlosion is fine, in fact I think its a bit underrated.

The way I see it, Typhlosion is kind of a Charizard wannabe. It has the exact same stat spread as Charizard, no secondary typing, and had to wait until Gen 4 to actually come out of Charizard's shadow.

Typhlosion was always better than Charizard imo, its just that Charizard was given too much attention.
