Welcome to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

In this fine magical institution you are may discuss everything Harry Potter - the books, the movies, and everything in between.

Upon sending your acceptance owl, you will be sorted into one of four houses. In these houses you will also gain House Points through contributing to discussions (house points awarded at the discretion of the Heads of House) and entering regular contests, and at the end of each month, the House Cup will be awarded to the winning house.

School Rules

1. All PC rules apply, both global rules and FC&G rules.
2. No trolling, flaming, or bashing.
3. The Forbidden Forest is forbidden to students without a faculty escort.
4. Boys may not enter the girls' dormitories, and vice versa.

^The Triwizard Tournament is featured in The Goblet of Fire, actually.

The Goblet of Fire is my favorite book! The Triwizard Tournament was really cool, I liked the challenges. It also marked a turning point for the series since Voldemort returned, so there's that.

Favorite film is probably the Sorcerer's (Philospher's) Stone, since it introduced most people to Hogwarts and was the first time the magic of the books was made visual.

I'm not a clubber, but I saw Harry Potter and knew I had to give this a go.

My favorite book is definitely Goblet of Fire. I'm not exactly sure why, but I've always just liked it. Book four was great. Books 5 through 7 were also good, but had too much angst to be my favorite.

As for movies, it's hard to say. I haven't even seen them in like forever and a day.

Pretty sure I read through the fourth book, honestly don't remember them though. Fav movie is Order of the Phoenix though, the whole Dumbledore's Army and the ending at the Ministry were pretty legit

I'm a great fan of the harry potter franchise!When I saw this club I had no doubt that I had to join it.I have read the books a lot of times(5 times each atleast) & I still enjoy reading them.

Which is your favourite Harry Potter book?-It may be the prisoner of azkaban. I like all so it's difficult for me to decide the most fav.one

Which is your favourite Harry Potter film?-None. I don't like the way the movies have gone. There are parts that I like in each movie. But on the whole I just don't like the harry potter movies.

Favourite Book- Didn't really read the books. Planning on buying them and reading them though

Favourite Film- probably Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of fire, or Order of Phoenix... Idk I liked them all!

Interesting how none of the Slytherins here want to be Head of House. That's not very Slytherin-like. :P

My favorite book is either Goblet of Fire or the Half-Blood Prince - they kind of butchered the film version of the latter, but it was really cool to learn about Voldemort's past and family history in the Pensieve lessons; really let us see what made him the way he is. They spent waaay too much time focusing on who was kissing who in the film and forgot to give their villains a proper backstory, which sucked.

Favorite film at the moment is probably Deathly Hallows pt. 2, mainly because it's the only one I don't own on Blu-Ray and haven't watched a million times, so it still feels new and exciting to me. It was pretty badass either way.

I have a question for all-

Which is your favourite character in the harry potter series?

My favourite is Prof.Severus Snape.I think that his character has been played out the best in the series.Also the way he deals with harry is hillarious (atleast to me).

Luna's one of my favorites as well, she's just so weird

I also think Hagrid's under-appreciated. After the first couple movies (honestly don't remember how he was treated in the books) he had very few appearances, which is kinda sad.
