Mew: cat.
Mewtwo. Alien cat. Or cat furry trying too hard.
Raikou, Entei and Suicune: cats dogs big cats big dogs gerbils.
Ho-Oh and Lugia: birbs.
Latias and Latios: magitek dragons. Or latinos.
Groudon: Godzilla.
Kyogre: whale with anger management issues due to overhunting.
Deoxys: Lavos, JENOVA, Yu Yevon or something in between.
Rayquaza: big awesome GREEN dragon.
Darkrai: emo goth trying too hard.
Arceus: Winamp's llama only 25% more awesome.
Cobalion, Virizion and Terrakion: Bambi's dad.
Zekrom: Transformers Beast Wars? or Beyblade?.
Xerneas: EXPECTO PATRONUS!

  • SHAYMIN (Land): Hedgehog bush!
  • SHAYMIN (Sky): Some kind of flowery mammal?
  • DARKRAI: Cool Ghosty Creature I guess?
  • ARCEUS: It reminds me of a qilin a bit
  • VICTINI: I think there was something about cutting apples into the shapes of bunnies?
  • KELDEO: The secret fourth musketeer pony
  • MELOETTA: A vocaloid with hair that is simultaneously sheet music and also spaghetti
  • GENESECT: WarMECH... but a bug
  • DIANCIE: Magical Crystal Princess
  • HOOPA: A little djinn/imp critter?

Mew: a kitten
Mewtwo: a slightly older kitten
Celebi: a bug of some sort that also looks like an onion
Jirachi: honestly I'm not sure if it looks like an animal at all, it just looks like a star
Shaymin: a hedgehog in land form, a dog in sky form
Victini: a bunny
Genesect: a car but that's not an animal
Manaphy: a jellyfish
Phione: also a jellyfish
Keldeo: a pony
Diancie: another one that doesn't really resemble any animal to me, but an ore instead
Hoopa: with the horns it's almost like a bull
Deoxys: a virus
Darkrai: a shark
Ho-Oh: a bird
Lugia: a dragon-like bird
Magearna: a moth
Marshadow: looks a bit like a teddy bear

  • Celebi: a bug-like fairy.
  • Jirachi: a star shaped creature... I really can't point out what creature.
  • Deoxys: an alien. Duh.
  • Manaphy/Phione: I don't know.
  • Cresselia: it has a bit of a swan. With rings like Saturn.
  • Darkrai: A very evil sinister wizard, hidden underneath a cloth.
  • Shaymin: Hedgehog.
  • Arceus: Obviously, a llama-god.
  • Victini: A bit of a rabbit with with V-ears.
  • Keldeo: Pony with a sword.
  • Meloetta: Popstar/ballerina. And musical terminology.
  • Genesect: Something that fits in the Medabots franchise. Also, Transformers maybe.
  • Diancie: Royalty with too much glitter and glamour.
  • Hoopa: A genie.
  • Volcanion: Has something tiger-ish, with a sort of tank.
  • Magaerna: Mechanic hybrid between a rabbit and Princess Peach.
  • Marshadow: A bit of a teddy, I'd say too.

Mew: A kitty cat

Mewtwo: A tall cat. The Egyptian goddess Baast comes to mind.

Ho-oh: He's wearing a Mohawk, what a bird!

Lugia: A colossal swan Yet he has no beak!

Celebi- Krysta from Fern Gully

Kyogre- A killer whale, but with the beautiful color scheme of a mermaid.

The regis-- The titans from Disney's Hercules

Giratina- A centipede. An undead one with its vampire bat wings!!

Cobalian- An Oryx from Africa

Hoopa Unbound- The Belrog from Lord of the Rings. + Kali, Shiva and various Indian deities with its multiple arms.

Xerneas- A stag, the Spirit of the Forrest from Princess Monoke a little.

Magaerna- C3PO of Star Wars and the owl from the original Clash of the Titans
