when u say battles before. my memorys fuzzy of first season but wil lthere be clips of the battles befor. like i think there are soem where u see images of richies battles etc.

I have uploaded an IPS file for Beta 1 now of my hack:

It goes up to the Primeape event, so if you go into Celadon City, that's where the hack ends. Please play it and let me know any thoughts on what I should change/improve and let me know any errors, from the smallest to the biggest. I'm sure there will be unexpected ones that will crop up.

I found a problem...after Cerulean City I headed to the Underground Path but I couldnt enter for some reason so I left and headed east to Rock Tunnel.

There is usually a tree that blocks the way, but there wasnt so I continued through. After reaching the Pokemon Center near the Power Plant I tried to go back to Cerulean City but the tree appeared. Without having Cut or Flash I am stuck in that route. =(

Yeah, I have no idea why that tree vanishes. Sorry. But this reminds me to suggest that you save often and to look out for glitches. If you want to continue, I'd suggest getting Advance Map and just deleting the tree that's blocking you and saving the rom, and then going back to Cerulean City.

I'm not necessarily looking for speed with the hack. But I don't want to obsess over it too much, so I might take a little break from it just to focus on other things. I do want to continue fixing the glitches as they show up, though.

It's an IPS file that you have to patch to an existing Fire Red Rom. The forums don't allow you to upload actual roms.

Thank you for the errors. I'm sorry, I had no idea that the warp wasn't working in the Underground Path - it was working the last time I went through that part, and somehow the warp got moved out of the doorway since then ...

Anyway, I uploaded a Beta 1.1 where the warp should work now.

I think this idea is more realistic.
Maybe in next beta will you make pikachu not to evolve because of thunderstone (it doesn't want to evolve).
But if you want your pikachu to evolve, you should find a secret item, which makes pikachu to evolve.
Make wild battle theme while spearow attacks.
Make follow me theme while pikachu is in theme.
Turn off music or make sad one while ash tries protect pikachu from spearow.
Sorry for my bad English - I am not from England or USA.

Hey there's lots of missing letters... it's like a bug...

This is pretty ace so far... I'm just a bit confused with the Viridian Forest bit... After we beat Bug Catcher SAMURAI, I presume we shouldn't go in the cabin with him? Because when I tried to do that, the game just went black with the forest music stuck... Heh... Maybe Ash gets killed by the Beedrill?
[also, it's been years since I watched the anime... I think Britain was showing the very last episode of the 1st series for the first time when I stopped watching and just played the game...]

Thanks so much for finding all these errors, alo! Two things - the hole right before the Squirtle event doesn't have a warp. I just wanted it to be a hole that you can get out of, unlike in the Hidden village. Also, where you can sort of walk on water near Bill's, I wanted it that way so that you can catch Krabby on the beach without having to fish or surf.

You need an application - I used IPS XP. Open the patch with that and it will allow you to patch Fire Red.

Well, the game's not supposed to go black when you go in the samurai's house - I'll look into that. He's actually supposed to yell at you for letting the Weedle escape, then heal your Pokemon for you.

Um, where do I go after Celadon?

I got the Celadon badge and defeated Team Rocket in the Casino.

EDIT: Also the lady who is supposed to give you HM Fly didnt give it to me...when I talk to her she says "HM02 is Fly.."

Sorry, but the hack doesn't go past the Primeape event - I haven't hacked past that point, so all the Celadon events haven't been worked on yet.

umm how do i get past brock? his geodude keeps killing me and before i fought him i talked to the guy who powers up pikachu and all i got was a light ball and that doesnt do much when fighting ground pokemon also i had to leave veridian forest when i beat team rocket because the wouldnt leave
