Their are plenty hack resources out their that provides a better modified version of fire red. However none of them itself focus on improving the fire red experience. It would be really cool to play fire red with the recent pok?mon ballances like the fairy type/new evolutions and it would be really intressting how this experience would develop. Also their plenty of changes that can be aplied to this version to make it more fun to play.

Deep Viridian Forest
In the pok?mon anime they actually went deeper into the forest where beedrils are encountered. A mmo named pok?mon planet actually designed these areas. In our version we implement a requirement to it. A bugcatcher doesn't give you access to the area when you first arrive in the forest. It's for bug catchers only.

After the 3th badge you offcourse travel through the Diglett's Cave to Route 2 again. If you go down that entire path you will encounter someone named Bugsy. He's a bug pok?mon trainer that wants to start a gym and he's was checking if the Viridian City Gym was available now it was abandon for so long. He tells you to battle him. If you win he gives you an unofficial bugs badge. Than the battle starts. Bugsy has a level 23 Butterfree, a level 23 Beedrill and a level 25 Scyther. You probally noticed something and that's that he's actually the future Gym Leader of Azalea Town in the Gold version. So it would be a cool interaction.

The unofficial bug badge is a key-item and with this item you will gain access to the Deep Viridian Forest. Looks like Bugsy is a pretty popular bug catcher. In the new area you will encounter the following pok?mon:

  • Butterfree level 17-23 - Common
  • Beedrill level 17-23 - Common
  • Metapod level 17-21 - Uncommon
  • Kakuna level 17-21 - Uncommon
  • Scyther level 18-23 - Uncommon
  • Pinsir level 18-23 - Uncommon
  • Caterpie level 15-17 - Very Rare
  • Weedle level 15-17 - Very Rare

Mt. Moon
I have to be honnest. The team rocket invasion never felt like a intressting event in the cave. I would suggest to remove it compleetly. Enouge team rocket in the future isn't it. Instead I would suggest to implement the Clefairy spaceship in the first stairs you go downwards (where you normally encounter the first team rocket member). You will encounter a lot of cleffa's out their. The spaceship event is something similar to the ss.ship but with only fairy pok?mon to battle where you enter it and ones you compleet it and go out . It flies into the sky. The rewards of the spaceship is a moonstone (so making the reward more exclusive than randomly finding it in a pok?ball and in a wall). This event can be repeated on the 3th Gym badge. Making you able to obtain 2 of them. After the 8th badge you unlock a shop where you can buy moonstones. This can be expanded with other things after the league like the ability to buy a togepi, a shiny stone and maybe a TM move like Moonblast.

The fossils event is removed as well. You can't really get shinies of them isn't it. So it would be nice you just encounter them in the wild. It's not like that fossil you carry for 6 badge is going todo something.

Saffron City - Fighting Dojo Rework

Rather than rewarding you with a Hitmonchan or Hitmonlee you will be rewarded with the option to learn one of your pok?mon an elemental punch move: Fire Punch, Ice Punch or Thunder Punch. The event can be repeated after you finished the league.

Tyrogue can now be encountered in the Rock Tunnel.

HM Changes

* Flash: Becomes a special attack 40 base fairy type move that has 30% to lower the accuracy.
* Cut: Becomes a steel move.

Dex Rewards
Unlocking more pok?mon in your pok?dex unlocks new areas:

* Oaks Private Spot: Finish the league & catch over 100 pok?mon in the dex
* Legendary Spot: Finish the league & catch over 150 pok?mon in the dex

...
Route 7: Grass [Meowth 30%, Oddish 20%, Bellsprout 15%, Growlithe 15% , Vulpix 10%, Elekid 10%] , pidgey removed

Other random stuff
Like future generation items, evolution tweaks, better shiny rates, mew-hack fix and an option to litterly catch every pok?mon in the wild multiplay times. This way you can get them all in shiny form.

Other things that could be intressting are events like the Eevee IV training from pok?mon glazed and more events that allows you to earn money.

This are just a few ideas but I think you get where I'm going with this.

Thanks, this might also been a chance to aply to orange islands to it's locations maybe even with an Alola treatment like changing the secondary typing of pink pokémon to fairy and the Orange butterfree with a fire or dragon secundary typing. And than offcourse we have the crystal onix with the ice/steel typing with water absorb ability.

I would name all these pokémon Archi Pokémon (reference to the Orange Archipelago.

Some other random stuff I was thinking about was a combat rework for the HM move Flash to something like a 40 special power fairy type move that has 30% to lower the accuracy and a change of the typing of Cut to steel.

Edite if you have ideas let me known.
