So, given the situation...I might...possibly...kill Creed. Or Mako. Or both (well, if Mako dies so will Creed). I might have Tarsus kill him, but he seems too much like rival/recurring villain material to have him win by fatality after only two battles. I'm not decided yet, but I'm considering in for the somewhat near future.

@Machomuu: Oh yeah? I'm not sure what situation you're referring to or what purpose this serves. o3o

Creed's currently fighting someone who has the potential to kill him and, given his broken arm, probably will. I don't really have many options in terms of getting him out alive (though I could make Tarsus Gin a PC post-mortem, if that's even allowed). Though I guess the real point (or rather, the current point) of my posting this is to segue into my question: has a PC ever died in Pokemon Fallout?

It's allowed, as long as you still submit a sign-up for him.

Also, Khawill killed off one of his twin PCs practically right after he joined.

@machomuu: You could introduce another NPC to save Creed or ask another PCer to. You also can adopt an NPC as a PC, as long as it's not...y'know, one of the NPC bosses or an NPC by another person who would be against it.

On one hand, I applaud this idea, because killing your own character is a very rare occurence. On the other hand, how much suffering do you want to put poor Amy through?? Seriously, things have been pretty bad for the little girl.

I would be inclined to ask how she'd ever find out? If she never gets out alive...

I mean... who would go out of their way to tell her and /why/? ;o

Well, in roleplaying we often hit that 'well isn't that convenient' cliche, in that instance they'd probably find his body. I suppose there are different ways as well. If they don't hear from him they could presume him dead (Knowing how he acts around Lucy and Amy, this is very plausible). Or perhaps, when he seems to have disappeared, they might go looking for him, and find his corpse...

... That is, if he does die.

My point remains, I don't think the girl could handle it. She'd no doubt break. Now, if Lucy had died... Put Amy on suicide watch.

Well I don't know about now, but sooner or later I'm 95% sure I'll be killing him. Thing is, Tarsus isn't really "evil", he's just a victim of circumstance that was originally scarred by witnessing the deeds of pokespirit wielders of the likes of the rebels and the Haxorus, so much so that he was really ignorant to the plight and suffering of the pokespirit wielders (and his first confrontation with Mako/Creed sure didn't help); so there is the chance that he won't kill Creed. Well, not at the moment at least; it would make sense that he would spare him out of a show of chivalry, considering that Creed is at a clear disadvantage. Eh, I'll see when the time comes.

Sorry I'm late to the topic, but I saw my name appear and I feel inclined to add in that technically it was three posts later, and it was a long post as well. Killing a character is something that needs to be a little more emotional or important than someone just up and killing them. (At least that is me). Also I've killed 2 characters so far, though one wasn't my main.

"I think someone needs a huuug!~" -A seven year old to a bisharp wielder.

But yeah, it does occur to me that suicidal depression is a rather sophisticated mental disorder and not something you'd find in a particularly young mind. >>;

@Batel: We hold the RP to a higher quality standard than the anime, and choose to believe that the lack of an explanation for some things in the games is not an indication of things not making sense. (Pessimism is kinda lame, don't you think?) When I made the RP it was based solely on the games, and does not break canonity under any condition. (Though it is, of course, darker.) BW2 could have potentially caused canonity problems, but it didn't. It could have safely happened while the scientists were still trying to build their memetic virus, with the infection taking place after the entirety of it was over.

@Vanellope: Awesome! We eagerly await your finished product.

It's not just the anime, they supposedly let children at the age of 10 venture out into the world at the age of ten in the games as well (and younger, as you can often find younger children in forests, caves, and the like). It's a great way to prevent Thomas Malthus' predictions from coming true...or it would be, but pokemon are far less aggressive towards humans than their animal counterparts (er...counterparts, that is; I'm pretty sure that "ice cream" is not an animal -.-) and people, at least the ones that are shown, are also far less...dark, to put it broadly, which is really why it's not as much of a concern. That, and they can't go out without a pokemon (or a supervisor), so the idea that a child can go out into the world in such a way is not as absurd as it may seem. That's not to say that it's not absurd at all, it definitely is and it's still a bad idea to send a ten year old child out into the world on their own, even if it is a "forced" and rather successful way of making them learn about the world, commerce, and socialism, but it's not as dangerous as it is in our world.

Alright, almost done lol. Um, what do I put down for the opening post? I'm a little clueless as to where the story and characters are right now. I'd really appreciate somebody filling me in on whats happening, sorry.

You're generally allowed to come up with any situation for your character. You don't need to interact with any other PCs; it's just your character, the environment, and maybe any NPCs you could come across.

As for the story, it's set in Sinnoh about a hundred years after Arceus removed Pokémon from the world. After they were taken away, humanity suffered a technological collapse. Many cities are broken beyond disrepair at this time, but not in total ruin. Most buildings are actually still intact to some degree. People resort to foraging, thievery and even cannibalism for sustenance these days. There should be enough information on the major cities (where most humanity resides now) in the first post, but Yellow and I can help with information concerning other towns and routes. (For the most part, though, you can consider any non-listed city as uninhabitable. E.g., a mass of plantlife growing over Floaroma Town has made that only a home to Grass-type and Poison-type Pokéspirit wielders, and the like.)

I looked at your SU, and it's nice, but it's set in the time when Pokémon were just disappearing. Could you fix this for era? Fallout takes place well after the removal of Pokémon. Also, Perish Song /is/ a usable move, but it'll effectively kill the user and pretty much anyone hearing it unless you come up with another way it can work. (I could possibly help with that if you'd like, if you're kind of bent on having Perish Song available.)
