When you get the latest Wild Area News, does it stay with your save data? Or do you have to do it EVERY time you connect to the Internet in-game?

I think you only really need to do it when an event occurs. So if you've already updated your dens, you should be fine until the next event, which is the Snorlax Dens on the 4th.
