Getting down the bus, Nathaniel's eyes basked in the surroundings. It seemed to be a lively atmosphere, with most people getting excited as they eagerly listened to a man in white, announcing something rather important.

"THIIS IS SOOOOO HYPEEEE! I CAN'T WAIT FOR IT TO BEGINNN!!" a man nearby exclaimed loudly, while removing his shirt and bellying his own drum.

...was that really necessary? he thought.

And then he heard those two words. Love hotel. Oh dear, this is one of those places, isn't it? It's hilarious that they're in here for serious business and yet, of all the place they could stop by, they had to stop at a lounge for... partners.

After hearing Reanne's suggestion, he said, "Well, I think we should check out the arcades first. Who knows if they might be pretty easy to win, I've got a good knack in gambling too!"

Emmanuel whistled in amazement as he stepped off the bus, taking in the sight of the city. He could hardly believe something so vibrant and lively was just sitting out here so close to his hometown, separated only by a range of desert and barren land, already forgetting the danger they faced to get here. The speech, despite the flashiness of its speaker and setup, drew little attention from Manny, whose eyes were feasting on the bright lights and bustling bodies of people moving about.

"This is gonna be fun." He said to himself, the excitement bounding through his limbs. Manny fondly recalled the memories of his nighttime escapades back in Orre, and what he remembered could only pale in comparison to the allures of Lux Bravio.

By the time the speech was over, the crowd beginning to disperse, Manny had wandered off some distance away from the group he had arrived with. He had practically forgotten about them under the bright neon lights of the city. It took only a few buildings until Manny found what he was looking for, a club. It had been awhile since the young man had let loose and he wanted to enjoy himself while the night still lasted.

Still early into the night, Manny found his way into the club without much of problem, the bouncer had yet to begin cutting people off. Even though the night was just starting, patrons already crowded the floor and Emmanuel wasted no time in joining them.

His body moved fluidly to the rhythm of the music, sliding into a group of some men and women. His eyes locked with a woman's, and they began to match their movements to one another, a sort of flow between their movements taking shape. It was brief, interrupted as she was pulled back into the arms of a seemingly irritated partner. She gave an apologetic smile and then they disappeared further into the crowd.

Emmanuel wasn't especially bothered, things like that happened sometimes. He continued to dance, scanning the crowd, hoping to meet another person's eyes. It was a brief search as he felt a pair of bold arms slip around his waist from behind, slowly turning him around.

The moment Reanne asked them about what to do, some already gave their answers expectantly. They were all coming from none other than the ones she spoke to the most, but not truly the answers she was expecting as they all are for the coming dawn, not the present night as the skies started to fade their light into darkness. That's not going to be a problem, she thought, because she's confident they'll find a way to spend the night, and hey, it's better than listening to the winds,

"Ah, that idea isn't too shabby at all. Y-yeah, that's right..." Reanne commented smilingly, feeling a sweat dropping for sounding awkward, though regained her composure quickly, "Ahem. Actually, it's apparent to say that we all think alike. That's also what I'm considering after what we've heard so far, but figures, I should've known better that there are people who have their fair share of competitiveness." She winked an eye at the two girls, "My answer should be obvious enough to guess. Besides, wasn't that the reason why we're here, right?"

Then, Reanne turned to face Nathaniel curiously, who encouraged the group to try their luck in gambling. "Ah, glad you're not running away from us. I recall that you want to bet and obtain hefty profit from it, and I'd..." She continued, keeping a smile that kept her past experience well-concealed, "...say that we shouldn't. Gambling is only good if you win, but should the inevitable happen, what can you say to what has been lost?"

After having given her thoughts to the two, Reanne continued her turn to speak, looking a little weary than usual, "Well, that's unexpected. It's not like we've got nowhere to go to during the night, but we probably start moving our legs and look for a place to stay on. Honestly, my back feels sore just from sitting for hours. Not only that, it's starting to get cold in here..."

Without hesitation, she made her first move onward, taking the lead to the deeper portion of the city through the raised sidewalk to the right...then paused. The realization of not knowing where's where hit her like a toy brick, but the concern was realer than her love for bakeries. Judging by how big the city was, she'd get lost in no time if she wandered out by only herself. She only managed to avoid such mistake as a Skitty passed by on the way, stopping her for a moment to let the Kitten Pokémon to cross and reach the other end of the road, then gone as the view was closed by passing pedestrians who glanced at the Skitty momentarily. That was a curious sight, where could she be heading to? The thought intrigued her, but it might be better to leave it as it was.

"...Hey, what are you waiting for? Let's go!" Reanne beckoned the group to catch up on her pace. Though that was done in an attempt to keep her cool, it's profoundly safer to travel in groups than going solo... Now that she thought of it, it felt like she didn't catch a glimpse of somebody who was there a moment ago. She wasn't sure with the number count being odd, could it be just her imagination? The probable occasion lay obscurely within the cold air...

Wiping away a bead of sweat from his forehead, Toru had almost lost track of time since he had been waiting for the next bus to arrive. Grazing his fingers back through his hair he wrapped a tie around his curly locks and knotted the mess into a bun. "You must be enjoying this sun a bit more than I am at this point!" he motioned to Espeon as the Pokemon purred in pleasure. Finally, a horn rang through the air signalling the bus' arrival.

Hmph. Finally.

As the other trainers had made their way onto the bus first, Toru found two empty seats so his partner could accompany him on the ride. Slouching back and releasing a hearty sigh, exhaustion finally overcame him and he began to doze off.

Now that I think about it, I think this might be the first time I've been able to get comfortable since the attack on the last bus ride... here's to hoping this one goes a bit smoother...

As quickly as he was able to fall asleep, the bus came to a stop at their destination. Toru groggily let out a large yawn and began to rub his eyes in an attempt to regain consciousness. "Huh?" quickly coming to at the sight of his new destination he became awestruck by the sight before him. A lustrous, colorful city filled with various attractions glowed outside the bus window. The group of trainers he had been traveling with were already gathered in front of a stage and were listening to the sounds that seemed to be blaring from the speakers surrounding it. In a state of panic Toru rushed off the bus with Espeon in tow and stopped himself as a man in a white tuxedo began addressing the crowd on the rules of an upcoming competition. Toru stood still and began to take in everything that was being presented to him.

"Well, if the majority would not want to do it, I can only digress and follow through," Nathaniel said with a shrug.

As he said that, he caught a glimpse of some odd-looking hotels.

Love hotels, huh. Wonder why they had such a shady name for a hotel. The city itself seems to be bumbling in life, with peak activity from each and everyone there, with a sense of belonging.

Perhaps its just part of their culture huh? Going into such hotels to do such... things.

Wait a minute. Weren't they going to stay in one of those hotels? Those notorious love hotels famous for those sort of *activities*?

Oh dear.

But they're gonna stay in different rooms right? So perhaps there won't be room for such *activities* in the first place.

Oh get your mind straight Nathaniel! You're here to win the contest, not fulfill your inner desires!

He shook his head as he followed the group towards their next destination.

Joseph observed the entire city after the annoucements of the contest as he had to squint his eyes in sight of all the neon. The trainer's rush into the city, heading into the local Casino's and Arcades while the hungry go into the local restaurant's. A small Delibird is seen carrying around a platter of drink's it's pulling from it's bag to serve it's denizens fresh alcohol and juice. At the center of the city, An ad runs on the massiv eTV advertising 'LAZER RAYCE!' Which looked like a combination of Tron and Mario Kart, shoved together... and the cart's wall's don 't fall or reset until they finish a lap. Joseph Squints his eye's, unable to deal with the issue, he make's his way for the Love Hotel, Smoochum's Playroom. Inside, 9he register's with the front desk that he's a trainer checking in alone. They give him a room Key as Caboose wanders off to the nearby Buffet and start's stuffing his face with the spread while piling food ontop of it's head. "Hey, hey, HEY, HEY! Caboose! Stop eating all the-! Too tired to argue..." HE release's Blaze from his ball and request's him to get Caboose; Though he joins Caboose in the feast. He ask's the same of Static, though Static joins the other 2. "oh COME O-" Caboose stuffs a banana in his mouth and put's a grape soda in his hand while pushing him back into a couch in the hotel Foyer. Joseph gives a glare before he give's up, eat's the fruit while watching his team stuff their faces.

Joseph got up as the 3 finish up, leaning back satisfied and begin following him up into the room. The bedroom didn't have anything extreme with the exception of the heart-shaped bed and red sofa. The VHS case was stocked with plenty of movies from out east, everything from Primeape-Zilla to Frankenstein starring mostly Pokemon. Jospeh steps into the bathroom, showers and start's wrapping a headband around his forehead to hide his scar as he get's dressed into more appropriate city wear and start's walking out, leaving his team to sleep. He steps out looking for the local poke'mart, which was difficult seeing as there was a casino or bar within every 5 steps, though he located it, stocking up on pokeballs before walking out and making his way back to a hotel.

He looked up at the Earth and Sky Ad and wondered if he should participate in the contest's hunt while looking for what he was intending to find while he was out here.

To Move onto Day, A majority of participants must retire to a hotel.

The night before dawn...

A few blocks ahead, to the left of an intersection, then to a stop. Where crowds were seen on the elevated entryway, they followed suit in discerning the correctness of direction. Ascending through a wide staircase, two Trainers found themselves staring at a large building that stretches far up into the starry skies. Above the entrance, a plaque made out of silvery structure was embedded with a name, and a sentence describing the purpose of the place -- "Jynx's Hide Away - A safe hawen for everyone."

"Well let's see, it seems like an idyllic place for shelter. Not sure why a Jynx would be referred to here though." Nathaniel commented.

"Maybe the owner really likes that Pok?mon, for whatever that could be." Reanne replied.

"Hmm, wait a second, what's this?" He took a glance at the plaque, and pointed out something peculiar. "Why, they spelt haven wrongly, that's silly of them..."

"Well, everyone make mistakes." She chimed in, keeping up with her pace, "You can't always expect them to have things the way they want it, right?"

"While that might be true, wouldn't that leave an unprofessional imagery to its visitors?" He explained.

"I suppose you're right." She shrugged, "But I'd say, give it a chance. If the service wasn't any better, there sure won't be a lot of people hanging around here, am I right?"

"Good point." Nathaniel said while taking the lead as both of them reached the entrance, "Well, here we are, let's go."

In spite of the mistake in the wording, upon gaining entry through the revolving glasses, they were awaited a luxurious sight. White walls embellished with crimson curtains and symbolic carvings of a certain humanoid Pok?mon, highlighted by the lamps fixed in opposition of the surrounding foundation. The floor was carpeted with tint of bright red, adorned with twined lines taking shape of the golden hair of the Human Shape Pok?mon. Following the path, stood a wooden counter, behind it a woman dressed in a blazer adorned in gold. When she gave a smile, you can feel the shine emitting from her golden teeth.

Assuming that the rest were following, Reanne didn't hesitate as soon the next in line had their business over with. "Hello, we're Trainers who are participating for this so-called contest. Is there a room for three persons?" She asked the woman who sat beyond the desk whose job is to greet visitors from anywhere they come.

"Trainers, eh? Let me check if there's any with three beds." The receptionist immediately hovered her fingers for a quick search in the monitor, then turned to face Reanne once more gleefully, "We're sorry, miss. Everything fitting for three and more are all occupied. Currently, we could only provide three rooms, for two."

"Room for two? Well there's five of us... doesn't that mean one of us has to stay alone?" Nathaniel asked. He looked around. It seemed a bit unbalanced... three girls and two boys. So most likely one of the girls'll have to be alone? Well, Nathaniel doesn't mind staying alone but... that would mean one of the girls will have to stay with Toru, no? He ain't sure if they're gonna be comfortable with that...

"So the rumors were true!" Failing to understand, Reanne exclaimed, "People like it better to be in company with more than one, in a hotel of affection they said!"

"Um...ah...ahaha..." She calmly chuckled, though sounding illusive in response to the perplexing nature of Trainers she had greeted tonight. She sighed afterwards, "We're afraid that there's a great misunderstanding in the air. Therefore, we must apologize for the misinformation you might've heard from the speech recently. As a matter of fact, some of our guests found it uncomfortable with the mention such as 'love' in our principles, but we've reassured them that it wasn't truly the case."

"Ah, I see." The blond-haired Trainer crossed her arms, her cheerfulness unchanging, "But that doesn't really matter. In fact, we came here to look for a place to stay. So, we intend to make reservations for some bus buddies."

"I believe so." The receptionist smiled while fetching a sheet and a pen, both of which presented to her, "If you will, please write out your name as well as your friends' name."

"Alright." Reanne bent over and started scribbling on the handed out paper. In the meantime, Nathaniel decided to stroll around a bit to... explore the insides of this majestic place for a while.

The interiors had been well decorated with luxurious materials and carvings. Even the washroom had a golden bidet shining, stainless. It felt really odd to him to use such luxurious facilities, when he was so used to the middle class life.

As he went on, he stumbled upon an aquarium, barriered by the transparent glass walls. Schools of fish roamed the waters, seeking food, or protection from bigger fishes. Nathaniel noticed various sort of sealife lurking in there, a Corphish appearing beneath the sand, a Clamperl closing its clams shut, a Basculin snapping away at goodness knows what. It was an interesting sight to see, the water habitat being within your reach, yet unreachable.

"Young man, is there something wrong?" He was probably there for a long time, but his concentration was finally broken down by an elderly hotel assistant.

"W-What? O-Oh, nah, not really. I'm just... admiring this aquarium." Explained Nathaniel.

"Ah, yes, the pride of our humble shelter." The hotel assistant turned his sight at the aquarium, "Visitors often flock into here, to catch a glimpse of such a beauty. It's a shame that visitor numbers have been dwindling recently."

"Dwindling?" Curious, the white-wigged man asked, "This place is so fancy, why'd that happen?"

"Ah, young man! You see, back then, there was a rumour, that spread far and wide." He continued as he cleared his throat, "...Guns and knives may hurt a man, but words can destroy a city. It was a terrible rumour that I cannot tell you, but it has stained the name of this hotel such that simpletons have avoided this abode like the plague."

"Why can't you tell me the rumour? Is it that bad?"

"Well, young man, apparently there's not much I can say since my job may be on the line, but apparently there's a treas-"

Before he could finish, his watch seemed to give a small beep.

"Ah, a request from another customer! I must bade my farewell, so till we meet again, young one. Youngsters these days surely have it easier, hahaha..." As he said that, he slowly makes his way leaving Nathaniel to observe the aquarium peacefully once more.

What an odd fellow, Nathaniel thought. What was he going to say earlier? Ah, perhaps it was nothing important. No time to waste, he should get back to his other Trainer pals that are probably waiting for him already.

"Certainly." The receptionist nodded as she pulled out and placed three keys with numbers inscribed in its metallic plating on the counter, "As instructed by our superiors, the fee for staying tonight is free. These are your keys to the room you might find in the left hall." She winked cheerfully, "Be sure to not lose it now! You'll find a hard time if you do. If you're unsure of directions, feel free to ask one of our staffs to usher you to the right place. Enjoy your stay!"

"Thank you very much." Reanne expressed her gratitude by trading hand waves, turning toward Nathaniel while stepping to the side to let the others get their turn. Once she locked eyes with Nathaniel's, she approached by and passed off the key. "Lookie here, this is the key to your domain."

"Ah, thanks." He slipped the key inside his pocket, "So, have we decided who'll share rooms?"

"Hmm, at least I have." Reanne thought for a bit before answering, her other hand went holding her own hip, "...Looking by the way it goes, it seems, I won't be sharing rooms with anyone tonight."

"My thoughts exactly." Said Nathaniel, "I mean, I don't see how we can separate the sisters either, and obviously..."

"...Yeah, that goes without saying." She sighed, "It's sure a shame that I can't be together with them. so I can only hope that there'll be no objections with my decision here."

"I guess that's for the best. Will you be fine staying alone, though?"

"I'll be fine." She reassured, "I sure am going to be lonely, but not for long."

"Well, if you say so..." Upon having said that, Nathaniel turned to see familiar presences entering from the revolving entrance. Talk about the devils, there are things that are seemingly inseparable, and having to see the same faces can make things look a little boring.

...is what he'd say. It's not rare to see this occur somewhere else, but being this up close, he couldn't help but feel blurred by their happy reunion. Even the receptionist gave a little giggle while they were having their moment, though still maintaining her work as efficient as possible whenever it is in demand. Today wasn't exactly the most hectic day he's ever experienced, spent mostly waiting for a long trip to the unknown and face an odd skirmish, but he was reminded of the fact that this was all simply the beginning of something larger than what he has seen recently.

...Especially, there's a nagging feeling about something that he heard from somebody who spoke to him not long ago, left hanging by a disruptive call.

"What was the rumour about?"

The night continues until the violet colored dawn paint's the sky with blue and purple as the sun slowy rises and the neon from the buildings begin to blur and attack the senses less and less. The morning sun comes to the city as the evening businesses pack up their signs and prepare for the next evening. The bars close+ and Cafe's start to open their doors. In a matter of minutes, the casino night-life town transforms into the Urban city daytime talk show in a matter of minutes. Poke Mart shops open up in hopes to jack up their prices for trainers participating before they have a chance to figure out they're being ripped off and in the back alley's the trucker's pull up their vehicles and start driving back towards to local outpost on the outskirts of the City. With the path back to Orre sealed off by impassable terrain, they would be stuck for a while.
A feather charred Pidgeot is seen overhead landing somewhere in the city as other street pokemon
In the back Alley, a man wearing a vintage vest, cotton black Khanki's with brown shoes that have battered and scratched steel tips and blonde hair with white aged tips, roughly giving away his age. He rubs the back his returning partner and inspects for any major injuries. Retrieving the money and plucking the charred feather's from the storm before feeding it a handful of Oran berries. He leads the large bird to a truck and allows it to rest in the bed before putting his foot down on the pedal and driving off.
start their morning prowl for scraps left behind by the drunk or wasteful humans. Stepping out with his team recalled to their respective pokeballs, Joseph steps out and makes his way towards the gate to see a large group of people in multiple lines around what looked like ticket booths. The trainer's standing at these booth's we're given stamps with an odd looking ink, electric cards and a map. Joseph check the time and shrugged as he got in line and picked up the goodies the booth's gave; the map was most of Lux Bravio and how to find some of their big league supported casinos along with payout rates and chances listed of winning for each one. Most of the trainers leaving the booth's we're leaving for the Casino while the rest just hung around aloof in town, only a handful left out into the vast wasteland.

Joseph looked out and noticed the trucker's outpost and decided to make his trek out there. He released Caboose and started out there, discarding his map in the nearby trash bin and keeping his charge card in hopes they can be used out here. On his travels, he notices a truck drive past him with a large bird pokemon in it's truck bed with soot covered feathers and a familiar looking vest.
The vehicle looked like it was moving south, kicking up dust and blocking view of the rest of it's occupants as it disappeared into the blazing heat.
"Hey, there's on of those kid trainers; think he's heading to the outpost?" The Pidgeot in the nods it's head. "Well, we may get some business out here after all." He chuckles as he shifts the vehicle into high gear.

Once it reached out high for the blue yonder, beams of light shot out from the crevices of a closed curtain, basking the room slightly lit with dust and morning sun. Slowly, they crawled over to bring their shine deeper into the room, one of them hitting the still closed eyes of a girl who rested alongside her Musharna, Shimmer, on the other side of the twin bed.

"...Ngh...?" Having been disturbed by the nature's call, Reanne covered her eyes with her hand while peeking at the sudden rise of brightness. A little glance toward the window shows that it's currently morning, but what does it have to do with her staying in here? Her eyes blurry, her hair messy, she yawned and closed her eyes once more, trying to sleep a little longer.

"Mumumu..." Just when she did, Shimmer approached by and began to glow in a pinkish outline. The blanket covering her fell flat on the bed, unaware of what her Pok?mon was doing, she slept on without realizing that she was floating and being moved at will by her companion.

*THUD!*

"Ow, ow... What was that for?!" Her voice indignant, she carried herself to a stand, assessing his mischief with a grumpy look.

Feeling content, Shimmer let out a deep, childlike giggle. Reanne too, while still feeling pained for being dropped down onto the floor, giggled along without bearing grudges. There has to be a reason why he did that, after all, and it's not something she could forget easily so long as she's not home... despite her inadvertent choice in getting late.

Within a time gap of 5 minutes, she have had shower and
changed clothes back into the usual.
Red short-sleeved shirt and white undershirt, along with grey skirt and knee-length shorts.
Grabbing hold of her green bag and putting on her red beret, she gave another look at herself upon a vanity mirror. Nothing about it looks or smells that bad, nor being lazy for convenience sake. It just never gets boring to wear the same garb so long as they find it comfortable.

"Alright, I'm all set. Shall we?" Reanne gestured at Shimmer who followed suit, looking eager even when his eyes aren't opened. Without further ado, she stretched her hand to reach for the doorknob.

*click* *click*

"Eh? Why isn't it opening?" She tried a few more times, but the door remain locked. She pushed it as she try to open the door before eventually kicking it off, but to no avail. Is she missing something?

Wait, a locked door simply means she just needed to insert the key to flick it open. That's right! But where's the key? She wasn't sure where she kept it the last time she's seen it, so Reanne began her thorough search by inspecting her pockets, bag, every nook and cranny of the room.

Yet the time ticks on, only for her to run out of the most likely places she could've placed it. The result was fruitless. The room went haphazard. Eventually, she gave up and nodded at Shimmer with a sigh. She can safely assume that the key was missing, and if it's the only way to go, she inhaled a bit before having to go through the trouble with a worried grin.

Soon, a door could be seen blasting off squarely onto the vacant wall, letting out an earful attracting bystanders who were nearby. Coming from the gap among rooms situated collectively in a circular corridor, Reanne withdrew Shimmer back into his Pok? Ball and quickly stormed off to the exit while passing by without a word, taking hold of her worn headgear along the way. Those who didn't work in the hotel but witnessed the occasion were unsure of the reason, while those who did, rolled their eyes for their unusual nature.

Once she slows down to reach the exit, she is eventually met with a crowded atmosphere. Trainers from many places are already making their way in, lining themselves in wait for their turn to go. That's definitely going to take a while, but at least she's not that late either. Anything that she should do now? Probably wait, for whatever worth this contest could give to her.

Emmanuel's eyes fluttered shortly before becoming wide in panic. It was a thick, balled substance, it's texture like coarse cloth. The flavor hardly seemed fit for someone's mouth. His hands grasped the object with utmost urgency as if expecting it to be lodged deeply within him. It came out easily, its contents coming unraveled and saliva residue dripped onto his bare chest.

"What the hell!?" He exclaimed, tossing the now unrolled towel onto the floor with disgust.

"Mmm… quiet down…" The small murmur came from besides him and he felt something kick him.

"Huh? What do you mean, quiet down?" He said, keeping his voice level against his tone. "You stuffed this grimy ♥♥♥♥ing towel in my mouth!"

"You were snoooring…" She said almost immediately, still in that sleepy murmur of a voice. The sheets shuffled and the woman sharing his bed turned towards him, a deep, closed mouth smile on her face accompanied by half-opened eyes.

Any anger and frustration Emmanuel felt dissipated all at once. Her smile was just so disarming and cute, so cute. He smiled back, scooting in closer to the strained springing off the bed. "♥♥♥♥, must have been real bad, huh? I don't blame you."

"Really bad," she repeated. "Un—believably!" She teased out the word, singing it. Then, she poked Emmanuel in the chest and turned away, her back to him now. "Goodnight!"

"Night…?" Emmanuel looked around. The room was dimly lit, the lights were clearly off, but it wasn't dark. He looked at the window, and although the curtains were fully drawn, the shimmer of faint light ran all around the rectangular border.

"Night as in… I'm going back to sleep. Goodnight."

"Right." He said, a tinge of dejection in his voice.

Unlike his bedmate, whatever her name was, he couldn't fall back asleep. Sitting up, Emmanuel looked around the room. Directly across from him Emmanuel found his bag, his clothes from yesterday crumpled up atop it. Clothes that he could only presume belonged to her were on a nearby sofa. He could hear the clock hung high on the wall ticking now.

"Oh ♥♥♥♥." He sprung from the bed, tossing his sides of the sheet in the air. He heard a small grumble but paid it no mind. As Emmanuel rushed to dress himself in yesterday's clothes, a sudden crashing noise came from outside. He flinched, his balance coming undone as he fell backward, pants dropping back down to his ankles.

"What the hell!" He heard her shout from underneath the covers, the drowsiness from earlier completely gone from her voice.

By the time Emmanuel was dressed and out the door, whatever had happened was over. In its wake was a stray door, loose from its handle and smashed against the opposing wall. "Ok…"

"Morning sleepyhead~!" Mary's cheery voice greeted, approaching Reanne as she exited her hotel. Rose visibly untensed a bit, taking a deep breath in relief at the sight of Reanne. "Hey Reanne. Are you alright? I felt really bad about you sleeping alone like that." Rose greeted, a light smile gracing her face. "We got you some stuff from the booths!" Mary went on to explain, holding up an arm full of stuff(TM) just waiting to be inspected. "We also picked up some breakfast~ Blueberry, banana and chocolate!" Mary announced, holding up a couple of muffins and what appeared to be oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, offering them all to Reanne. They came accompanied by a bottle of what appeared to be orange juice. Still somewhat cold! Rose produced a map, an electronic card of some sort and a stamp accompanied by a somehow weird looking ink. She'd gotten enough for all of them. "...Rose was having trouble sleeping, so we got up early." Mary finished explaining. A quick examination of Rose revealed that although she'd did her best to pretty herself up and hide her exhaustion, careful observation of her face and general quietness revealed that she was pretty out of it.

-----------------------------Earlier-----------------------------
...Rose had never felt less like a human being. "It's amazing to think all of these people are here to find someone to spend their life with." Mary softly mused aloud from nearby, one hand in Rose's at the other's insistence. "...Yeah." Rose replied without any heart behind it. She didn't have the strength to correct Mary. She felt nauseous. Everywhere she looked, she saw desire. A terrible desire completely distinct from the hotel's namesake. She knew what love looked like. But this--This was just gross. She passed glares at those who dared look at either of them with those feelings in their hearts, sharp and hateful in response to their unwanted attention. Most of them didn't even understand what they'd done.

...The two sisters shared a bed that night, but only one of them slept in it. Rose was up at the devil's hour, listening to people walk by their room and staring at the door like a hawk. Every time she tried to lay down and rest, she wound up getting upset and being unable to sleep. She hated being here, and somehow she felt most comfortable standing guard. Perfectly silent, she pondered what she would do if anyone actually tried to creep through their door. ...It was locked. She wasn't sure what she was expecting, and nothing ever came of it. The morning came, and with it Rose's strength had waned. She felt sore and sluggish. Her nauseousness was now coming from unrest, rather than disgust. She wasn't sure how she was going to get through the day, but it was too late to look for someplace else to sleep. Mary stirred next to her, sitting up and brushing some hair from her face. "--Morning, Rose~?" Mary greeted. "Murnning." Rose murmured in response, slurring her speech a bit. She hadn't been fully awake. Catching onto this, Mary examined Rose for a moment. " . . . Did you ever get to bed??" she asked, slipping out of bed to change out of her pajamas.

Rose deigned not to answer. As much as she knew Mary cared about her, these weren't feelings she wanted to share. How could anyone else understand? They didn't see the world the way she did--Mary least of all.
----------------------End of Flashback----------------------

"I hope you're going to be okay! It'd really stink if you got sick on the first day of the contest." Mary gently remarked, attempting to get some energy out of Rose. Rose looked up and offered a weak smile. "I'll be alright... I feel a little more awake now that I've gotten up and started moving." she replied, though one could still detect the weakness in her body language. The way she held herself, the hints of exhaustion in her face. She did a good job of pretending to be okay, at least. "How are you feeling, Reanne? Are you going to be ready to head out and go on an adventure once we finish eating~?" Mary asked, her eyes lighting up with delight at the prospect. She hesitated for a moment, seeming to consider someone missing. "--Is Nathan still around?" she asked.

The glint of the sunshine dawned on the window next to where Nathaniel was sleeping. Unfortunately, he was too busy sleeping, dreaming about something intense.

A cliched dream, in a universe where a well-endowed princess, pleaded to be saved.

The warrior, with a sword in his hand, was ready to strike down the dragon that had brought the entire world on its knees.

But a dragon is not a mere enemy to be slain easily, for he breathes fire and slashes at anything considered a threat, with its poisonous claws.

One step closer to the edge of the cliff. The seas below roared in the night, its waves crushing the rocks beneath. The warrior's enemy was right behind him, ready to pounce and roast him into crisp. But he was anticipating it, ready to make his move.

He rolled to the left, rolled to the right, dodging his enemy's attacks.

"Hah! You have good speed, young one. You may dodge my fire breaths as easily as you may. You may somehow be immune to my poisonous claws. A true man you are. But can you survive this!?"

And with that said, the clouds start to darken, signalling impending thunder, and perhaps doom.

But there the warrior saw his opportunity. Just one slash on the dragon's neck.

Just one more roll, and he'll make it...

And that was how Nathaniel woke up in the morning, his face planted on the floor underneath his bed.

A bit shaken, he got himself prepared after realizing how awfully late he was. The contest should be starting today, how could he have overslept, damn it!

After hastily putting his clothes on, he barged out of the door and clumsily moved towards the location, where the contest was about to begin.

There seemed to be a huge crowd already, waiting in excitement for what's in store for them. He looked to the left and right, hoping he wasn't already abandoned by his teammates. A leap of joy occured in him when he saw Rose, Mary and Reanne in a corner. He squeezed past the crowd and finally caught up with them.

A few minutes out into the heat, Jospeh began to sway a little about 100 feet from Lux? Bravio before he stops and makes his way back to the city with Caboose attempting to keep him upright. As soon as they reached City limits, Jospeh walks into the Air Conditioned Pokemon Center and starts his way to the pokemart built inside. He purchase's a Visor, A few large bottles of Sun Block and a larger canteen of water before he started making his way back to the front.

He took notice to Mary, Rose, Reanne and Nathaniel joining up. Joseph chuckled as he walked towards the group. "Good Morning folks.... Is anyone attempting to head out into the wilderness? I recommend stocking up; the temperature is above 90 degree's, I didn't even make it to the Trucker's Stop outside the city!"

-Outside-
Within the hilly areas and the rough terreign within the mountain terrein, a small tribal village is established. There are small cave's and tent's established into the cliff side made from the remains of clothes among other foreign materials. Several pokemon are roaming about the village either repairing damage from the constant wind storms or pulling the fruits and vegteble's's they keep growing using collected rain water to nourish their community.

Tex returns as his escort remove their poncho's and store them into a crate they keep handy as they return to their mate's. Tex approach's his tent as an old Fearow donning a yellow-worn out garb across it's back was waiting. "☼▲☼ It's good to see you." " ▼¶▌█▄♣◙‼" "... I choose to practice their tongue in order to uphold my purpose, the next lead in my stead will continue to do so to fulfill what we vowed." The old bird shake's it's head as it attempts to speak, though it's word's are primitive. "...Very Well. How...Doing, you?" "I'm doing as well as I look. The village is well fed, noone is sick, hurt. We have good ground with 'him' in Fool's Garden and good trade. All in all, we're doing well. The only trouble we've been having is with the other's out further west beyond the valley Magma Catcus Fields." "The '$↓§'? They worried... preparing for human contest..." "Contest? What contest?" "Earth, Sky. Contest giving winner land, wealth to construct human settlement. Larger than known settlement." ".... Your sources say where they are intending to build?" "No... Secret. Not trouble now.... Trouble are rules... Human must gather wealth in disk's..... Or seek 'treasure' among tribe's. Seek our promise." Tex frowns as he gaze's upon the old bird. "... Someone seeks the power from the old world. This is troublesome..." Tex sit's back and sighs, resting against his old shell. "What you do?" "... I'm going to protect our portion of the promise. If they come in and beat me to claim it, they can have it fair and square as the rite state's..." ".... When human's claim?" "Then I'll lead my family, my village out of Ignea and establish a home in Orre. Does 'he' know?" ".... He knows... He prepare's home for eventuality..... He leaves, all us will face d-....f-..." The old bird curse's in it's own speech before Tex helps him finish. "Difficulty? I know... I'll talk with him to see if we can get him to stay as long as he can until the last minute. I should probably prepare... Thank you for your visit brother." The Fearow bows before stepping out and spreading it's wings to fly off and out of the village.

Not long after making her exit, familiar voices shouted her name among the crowds. Reanne turned and immediately took notice of the two sisters standing nearby, both who must've beaten her in getting up from the bed, and carrying lots of things to boot! How energetic they could be? Reanne can only assume, since it's the day they all have been waiting for, it's natural to be excited.

"Morning, you two... Eh?" She greeted back, but why's Mary handing out these food at her? Reanne cupped her arms on the goods in response, having not said an agreement to anything yet just as she made her exit through the revolving door. Her current position didn't make her the most attentive during the whole conversation, Reanne can only listen to what they were doing in the morning before she came.

Once Mary asked her the easiest thing she can answer, Reanne finally spoke, "Well, a sleep is all I needed, so I'm fine as I-"

Halfway the moment she tried to continue, something went rumbling soundly. A red gradient went across the girl's face, realizing that simply looking at these food -- particularly bakeries -- made her equally as hungry. "Sorry for that, I think I skipped meal and just went to sleep last night..." So much for trying not to look like a glutton for her appetite, Reanne picked up the pace, "But never mind that. It puts me in relief to see the two of you here doing better than me in the early hours. After all, I've promised yesterday to explore the world out here together, so..."

Coincidentally, Reanne caught sight of Nathaniel who approached at them post-haste, as well as Joseph from a more further side of the city. Speaking of the devils! ...Although there might be some missing from the list, but it's likely they'll show up soon enough. While taking his advice to the heart, Reanne modestly pointed at the yellow muffin packaged neatly in a plastic wrap, "By the way, can I have this one?" She requested.

Emmanuel had a pep to his step, feeling light and refreshed after last night's activities. After how tense things had been until up until now, he was especially appreciative for the brief enjoyment. On that note, Emmanuel was now enjoying the free food accommodation a bit too much. He would suffer for it later, but to hear the words "free food" and not stuff himself was something Emmanuel could simply not allow; he absolutely had to take advantage of it.

Munching down on the last bits of a banana, the peel already disposed of, Emmanuel leaned back and exhaled. He shouldn't have eaten it, but to throw it out seemed like too much of a waste. It had come sooner rather than later, although it wasn't too bad, Emmanuel managing to stop himself before outright bloating, he had certainly lost that feeling of weightlessness he had earlier.

His steps slower and weighted, Emmanuel made his way to contest's starting point, the large crowd making it hard to miss. Among them, he spotted Nathaniel, Joseph, Rose, Mary, and Reanne; almost everyone he had made the journey with. "Hey!" He called out above the crowd, waving as he walked over.

As the young trainers begin to gather; there is a commotion outside of the 'Lucky Gribble.' A trainer is punching and squirming left and right in the arms of a few bouncers. Yelling from the top of his lungs that he had been cheated out of his 'chips' and his Magikarp."YOU ASSHOLES! YOU TOOK IT ALL FROM ME! YOU ASSHOLES!" His hand where his league stamp would be has been blacked out with a black X. "You put up your pokemon as Collateral, if you want it back, settle your debts to the city of Lux Bravio and it'll be given back to you." The bouncer's walk inside as the trainer yells before laying there to sob while everyone else passes him by. Joseph plucks one of the muffins since the group seems to ignore his presence. He was use to being the man in the background, unheard and unseen very often. He took the muffin, his recently purchased SPF sunscreen and makes his way out of the city towards the city gate.

Outside, there was someone selling off used vehicles and Joseph came across a small RV camper. "SO! YOU LOOKING TA BUY?!" The dealer caught him off guard as he jumped. "We're offering vehicles to traverse the harsh land if-your-a-seeking to travel across the massive land of Ignea! Can I help you scout a vehicle your choosing?!" Joseph paused a moment and sighed. "All I have to pay with are the chips we we're given; I was intending to head out into the continent myse-" "So you still got all ya's? TIS FINE! ALL is accepted here at Honest Dan's! That's me, Honest Dan. We accept personal checks, traveler checks, Cash, store credit, your credit, car-" "Why are you called Honest Dan?" "Well, I'm the only honest sucker out here ya can trust! All the vehicles bought going out are all dealt by me and only! You go out in the middle of this here desert, you car breaks down due to an overheated circuit board; The vehicle is backed up with the latest technology in our current day and age to keep rolling, even if your FM radio goes out! The car dies due to an attack by the locals, we have a free trade in gurantee, we'll swap it for another beaut of equal or lesser value!!.. If you get back alive that is. SOOOOOOOOOOO!..... You like the camper?" "...It looks.... roughed up." "Well, that's because this sucker has been from the deepest pits of a volcano and back! The shell of the compartment has been treated with a heat resistant paint coating that can withstand the touch of a Magmar, SHOW'EM CHARMELEON!" A Charmeleon behind the pair uses fire blast on the camper, the vehicle tilts and falls gently. "Sucker is also resistance to heavy attacks and thunderstorms! This thing can take a direct head on stampede from a Rhydon or NinoKing and still keep trucking! Charmelon!" The same pokemon has a boulder and throws it at the vehicle and the transport falls over. The pokemon comes over flips it up right. "Sucker runs on good clean energy, Solar and gasoline, can reach a topspeed of 85MPH! Also has a wench on the front to get you out of tight spots and the tires are as tough as the body paint!" "... But I don't have my license... let alone, I don't have a job to afford the thi-" "Don't Worry about it! If this beauty doesn't meet your needs, before or after the contest ends, I'll refund everything up front worth the value of them chips in cash and take it even if it's in worse condition it's in now, I'll even front your bus fare! Also, LOOK AT EVERYTHING OUT HERE! No laws, only police here are in town!" "... I'm sti-" The Charmeleon comes up with a contract along with sales receipt. "Read it and be happy about it! You won't get far on foot with the exception of whatever you carry now!" Joseph read's through the contract. Everything he promised was in the contract, If he paid with the chips; he wouldn't have to worry about paying anything else. He intended to explore the land while being able to search for what he was looking for; it seemed like a rough win-win. "....Fine...." He signs the contract with his name as Dan grins and gives a copy to Joseph along with the sale receipt. Joseph paid with half of his chips as the Charmeleon came up with a key. Dan showed him how to start the car, how to turn it off and showed him the smaller features along with a user's manual. The vehicle started properly with a few minor chugs, the vehicle set to run on gas before Dan showed him how to switch it over to the batteries for Solar. "Before I leave ya, my dealership is at the far east near the entrance, if you see a long line of car's, you'll have found me at the right place! And a word of warning; keep the girl running on Solar; Travel may be sluggish and a little slow, but trust me, you'll wanna keep that gas in case ya need to run.... Good luck to ya and good hunting!"

Joseph inspects the living area of his newly acquired Camper. There was an electric stove, a bunk bed, a sofa, a small CRT color television embedded across from it and a storage compartment to keep his gear. He stuffs his bag into the storage compartment and consults his map or the region and ntice's a spot called 'Fae's Glade' and the 'Living Labrynth' out east. He starts up the camper, switching it over to battery.
