By the way what sources are you using to look at electoral votes? Between Tom and I we have like 5 different sources and they all say different things haha.

Personally I'm using BBC, PBS, and MSNBC. The chart is using MSNBC projections.

PA called.

AP calls it for Tammy Baldwin. She will be the first openly gay senator to be elected.

MSNBC has called Elisabeth Warren defeating Scott Brown for MA Senate seat and Joe Donelly in Indiana.

2nd battleground state in.

NH goes Obama.

UT and MT goes Mitt.

While Obama has been declared winner in Michigan, 51 to 47%, and Stabenow also declared winner for her U.S. Senate reelection race in a landslide, the nationwide popular vote is, as I'm writing this 27.1 million for Romney, 25.8 for Obama, and around 716,000 for the minor party candidates. (from WXYZ-TV Detroit's web site)

As for the Michigan state proposals: with 15% of precincts reporting, Proposal 1 (the Emergency Financial Manager referendum) appears to be passing, while the other five (collective bargaining, renewable energy, home care, supermajority tax increase requirement, the border-crossing bridge proposal) appear on their way to defeat. However, I'm expecting the results for these to invert (Prop 1 failing, the others all passing) later in the night. (results from WJBK-TV Detroit's web site).

I'm mixed about Obama winning. I am firmly against the Obamacare mandate that you have to have Health Insurance by 2014 or you'll be punished monetary. That's like pointing a gun to my head and forcing me to pay for something I don't use at all.

I'm also disappointed that Scott Brown lost to Elizabeth Warren. I fear that Warren will be very partisan and not compromise. At least Scott Brown did something with the Democrats. We're screwed.

Thank you Ohio (as well as the other states that contributed). <3 Much love.

Shame Obama didn't win popular vote but there's votes still being counted.

A sad part of an Obama win is that now I can't terrorize certain American friends to move up to Canada here with me to escape the Romney-wrath.

I'm glad Obama won. I'm glad the Democrats have strengthened their presence in the Senate.

But, I'm not joyous over it. A couple of reasons why:

          1) Generally, when an incumbent is re-elected they gain more seats. Here he has lost some.

          2) Also it doesn't look like he's gotten the popular vote yet. And if he does, it may be very slim.

          3) The Republicans have the House.

So, this is still a very divided country. More so than last time. Hardly a slam dunk.

And if that's the case and stuff still won't get passed because the House won't budge even when the Democrats compromise, then you're looking at four years of wasted time again.

Your country has some serious problems. And the wheels really need to start turning. The economy isn't a joke or a game. If it looks like some major progress is being made on the fiscal cliff, the deficit, debt, energy, jobs, and budget I'll be much happier. But none of that was really a highlight in either campaign.

So, smarten up and work together and actually do something. Otherwise you're just a wasting time and money.

The west coast votes have yet to be counted, meaning California and Oregon and Washington will take care of that.

As a non-American eleven year old, I'm so pleased with the outcome of the elections. If I could've voted, I would've gone with Barack Obama, definitely. Since his first term, he's been helping our country a lot, and he really deserves to win.
