If you were to list them in a sort of top 10, which animes do you think that are the best?

Can't think of a top ten list right now, but my favorites, in order (was soo hard to do this), are:

1) Hunter x Hunter (2011)
2) Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
3) Saiki Kusuo no Ψ-nan
4) My Hero Academia
5) Made in Abyss
6) Your Lie in April

Saiki is absolute gold and something I think everyone needs to watch. perfection and so hilarious man

And from there it gets hazy. These six series are absolutely wonderful, and I honestly had a difficult time sorting them as it is. =(

Inazuma Eleven. Probably the only sports anime I'll ever watch but it was great.

Excluding movies my top 10 would be something like

1. Higurashi
2. Serial Experiments Lain
3. AnoHana
4. Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora

Here it gets murkier but something like

5. Shinsekai Yori

8. Hurou Musoku
9. Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica
10. Sakarasou no Pet na Kanojo

I hope you're talking about G Reco, or at least War in the Pocket/G Gundam.

more gundam in general i suppose. the series as a whole is mostly amazing and i put it on the same influential level as db/z/gt/super, except for that the newer iterations of gundam are much better than the gt and super versions of dragonball. if i had to say which of the gundams were my favorite, it'd go to gundam seed or ibo - since seed was one of the first versions of gundam i watched and thus is most memorable for me, and ibo because i just recently saw the final episode of it so its the freshest in my mind.

As of right now:

1) Mushi-Shi
2) Hunter x Hunter
3) Samurai Champloo
4) Hataraku Maou-sama!
5) xxxHOLiC
6) Noragami
7) AnoHana
8) Log Horizon
9) Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon
10) Barakamon

After number 5, those could go in any order... Actually, I feel that after a certain point I can't really make a linear order at all.

Mushi-Shi

aaa this one is great, haven't finished all the episodes yet but what I have watched was breathtaking. Gotta catch up!

3. Haikyuu!!

Another series I adored too. Art and animation are lovely, and the characters are really in-depth too. Kageyama is <3 but I love them all. Manga seems to have gotten quite a bit ahead of the last anime series iirc (right? unfortunately I don't read the manga but new chapters come out consistently) so maybe we'll end up with more seasons sometime??

I sure hope there's more. It's done fairly well, so I imagine a fourth season is possible. It's one of those things I think where I can only watch it, not read it.

Not much of anime watcher these days. I do check out the occasional mecha show since that's become my favorite genre of the years, but other than One Piece (which will never end) I don't find myself watching too many currently airing shows.

In no particular order:

Maria-sama ga Miteru
Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam
One Piece
Nausicaa
Armored Trooper Votoms
Inazuma Eleven
Kemono no Souja Erin
Monster
Dennou Coil
GaoGaiGar

A rough approximation of my 15 favorites, in a kind of haphazard order:

R.O.D. franchise (particularly the OVA)
Haruhi franchise (especially Season 1, but that will probably be replaced by Disappearance whenever I watch it)
Gurren Lagann
Clannad (Particularly After Story, but I like the OVAs and the first season as well)
Himouto! Umaru-chan (both seasons; go ahead, judge me, I'll be waiting)
Love Live! (all seasons of both groups)
K-On!! (everything)
Non Non Biyori (everything)
Yuru Yuri (particularly Season 3)
Chobits
Genshiken (all seasons)
Kanon (2006)
Kokoro Connect
Negima! (particularly the Magical World OVAs)
Lucky Star

Definitely more that could fit, but I'm capping it at 15.
