Prologue

Ominously orbiting the innermost planet of the Kanto system, the Death Pokestar makes its way to the center of the galaxy where it waits for the devious Emperor Darth Psydius to arrive and execute an order of destruction.

Meanwhile the Rebel Alliance and its skilled armada of pilots hide on the prosperous city-planet, Celadon which sits near the edge of the system. An ambush will take place once the Rebel Alliance confirms that Darth Psydius is at the outer ring of the star system.

There in space the Emperor will be defeated and peace will bring an end to his oppressive rule over the galaxy. However one enemy is unaccounted for, the tyrant's prodigy Darth Lucar who is know for his cunning tactics and merciless use of The Aura.

Few hours remain until the ambush takes place. The Rebel Alliance bides its time until then, going over every contingency of its leader's plan.

Princess Ledia motivates the armada with the words of a courageous and passionate ruler who will one day maintain peace in the galaxy. People of the galaxy look at her with hope in their eyes and to see the spark of rebelling flame igniting a new era.

Fledgling users of The Aura are the only offense against the Emperor. May the Aura empower them and guide them in the battle to come.

About The Galaxy
The Republic.

Long ago the Galaxy was resting in an era of prosperity, only threatened by the ambitious Federation. It united plants across the galaxy for thousands of years; however, when the Master of The Dark Aura guided the Federation against the Republic not even the Medi Council could foresee the turn of events that lead to the fall of the Republic and rise of the Empire.

The Empire.

For a couple decades Darth Psydious has spread his tyranny across the galaxy, enslaving hundred of worlds to crush the former republic and take control. At the side of the Emperor, Darth Lucar leads the front of war and seeks out users of the Aura. Together they utilize the Death Pokestar to destroy entire worlds if they don't surrender to the might of the Empire.

The Rebel Alliance.

What was left of the Republic accumulates in the shadows of the Empire where they cannot see the growing force of the Aura pushing back against them. Its leader Princess Ledia is its leader, her home world long gone because of the Empire's destructive weapon. To reverse the wave of destruction, Princess Ledia seeks out users of The Aura, hidden in unknown places or newly born before they are capture by Darth Lucar.

About Your Role

Using the sign up template below, you define your role in this story.

Name: Give me something hilariously cool.

Allegiance: The Empire, The Rebel Alliance, or maybe something unexpected.

Description: What pokemon species are you playing, what makes them unique from other species. Keep in mind that some pokemon are better fit as wild animals instead of sentient beings who can pilot space ships. Also consider variants from your home.

Skills and Abilities: Are you a user of The Aura? Do you have mad piloting skills? Or maybe you can make droids that do battle for you, what is it?

Connections: Who are you connected to in the story. You may have an Allegiance but are you related to the Princess or Darth Lucar? Put yourself in this story in a way that means something without proper bonds, how can you be invested?

About this RP

It's rated T for totally cool teen because there wil be mild violence, romance, etc.

I'm going to push the story forward linearly. Where other RPs are Sandboxes, this one has a clear plot and story that doesn't have a lot of room for variation. What you do will matter because there are great forces at work who need your help to ensure their mission is completed.

If your character is unable to fit into the story then I'll have to deny it. Please invest yourself, don't just sit around to make posts.

Some Additional Background

The Seven Systems.

Kanto, Jhoto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, and Alola are star important systems of this RP that have the greatest populations and biggest influence on the galaxy. Within them are worlds that resemble the locations of those regions. As you might have caught on, Celadon is a City in Kanto and made parallel to the Star Wars location of Coruscant.

Consider each town and city to have its own planet within its star system. Moons or nearby objects reflect what's in the games such as an asteroid belt named after Diglett Cave.

Between star systems there will be interesting astronomical structures that aren't in the pokemon games but exist out of imagination.

Evolution.

It is not a common event for pokemon, as most remain at the first stage of their species line. When Evolution does happen its because of story importance rather than battle experience or age.

Darth Psydious for example is quite old and is a Golduck. His evolution occurred long ago when he ended the life of his Master.

Darth Lucar is a Lucario who started as a Pod-Racing Riolu but evolved when he joined Dark Psydious in using The Dark Aura.

Princess Ledia evolved from Ledyba when she decided to lead the Rebel Alliance.

Wild Pokemon.

Some Species of Pokemon will be treated as wild animals. Such examples may include Space Monsters that only remotely resemble a pokemon. There will be an attempt not to have a sentient species of Pokemon also have a wild animal counterpart.

Species Variation.

Consider that every plant has just a small handful of pokemon species on them but with many ethnic varaitions between them. Also consider them to be related to their Star system such as Gen 1 Pokemon in the Kanto System but not many in the Unova System.

When you pick a species of pokemon you can change it up quite a bit and adapt it to the story so that you have yourself something different than a simple pokemon.

The Aura

The Force renamed to fit a pokemon theme is what holds the universe together. Any pokemon can access The Aura as it's not specific to any pokemon type. Rather it's an accumulation of the unnatural: Psychic, Dark, Ghost, Fairy, Dragon, etc.

Pokemon that are one of those types have a natural connection to The Aura but often find technology serves as a more useful tool in daily life.

When the Republic was still together the Medi Order was made of pokemon who could use The Aura. There were strict rules on remaining on only using The Bright Aura and to stay away from The Dark Aura. However this cause The Aura to become unbalanced throughout the galaxy. The Sith were more powerful because The Dark Aura was exclusively used by them. They used this to their advantage and clouded the eyes of the Medi Council and concealed themselves in a veil of mystery.

Ultimately it was the lack of balance that brought down the Medi Order. But a few masters may hide throughout the galaxy still, balancing their own life with darkness and light to ensure neither side becomes too powerful for the galaxy.

Technology

For the most part, space ships are among the most advanced forms of technology in the galaxy. Droids are useful but in the end it's all about who can zoom through the stars with the biggest guns. The Death Pokestar is the biggest of these ships with a large canon that can obliterate entire planets.

Fledgling users of the Aura may feel inclined to use a weapon called a Lightsaber. They are able to cut almost any materiel, deflect plasma from guns, and also make a swoosh sound in the air. They're not for everyone as they need a great deal of training to use. Old Medi masters still have them and a few people in the galaxy know how to make them.

Cybernetic Enhancement is not uncommon, especially as replacements to hands and legs that might be nipped off in battle. They're not flesh and bone but they are pretty useful for hiding gadgets and gizmos. Darth Lucar himself depends on this type of technology for his own survival as he was once burnt to a crisp on a volcanic moon a long time ago.

Types and Moves

In this universe pokemon using moves is restricted heavily. If one can use The Aura then it's possible to use pokemon moves however rarely even if they wouldn't normally have the move in a pokemon game. Darth Psydious for example can use Thunderbolt by channeling The Dark Aura.

Types play a lesser role here. Water types obviously have affinity for environments with water while flying types have an affinity for the sky. Only when it comes down to weapons designed to affect certain physiological structures (a raygun that shoots electric type plasma for example) will type really come into play for everyone.

Misc.

As we continue the story there will be other parallels between Star Wars and Pokemon. For the most part the story will be based on the original trilogy of Star Wars but with original ideas to spice things up.

So don't plan on Empire vs Rebel Alliance to be the only conflict.

Simple Example Character

Name: Princess Ledia

Allegiance: The Rebel Alliance

Description: A female Ledian who leads the Rebel Alliance against the Empire. Her body is in peak condition as she's not that old. Along with natural beauty she's notably different from other Ledyba races by her swirly antenna and pale-orange coloring. Like any princess she dresses in dresses and robes, often picking white to help her stand out against other people in the alliance.

She speaks with a soothing voice but has a stubborn personality bent on pursing her passion which happens to be the rebellion.

Skills and Abilities: Leadership, Raygun Proficiency, and a hidden inclination for the Aura. All that makes for a great princess but she's a terrible pilot.

Connections: Darth Lucar is actually her uncle (father was a Volbeat. Offspring can be either pokemon species of the parents btw) but she doesn't even know! Another truth is that Princess Ledia is a twin to a boy who she also doesn't know about. Her home world was destroyed by the Death Pokestar so she doesn't have other family connections left in the galaxy.

Well, I wanted it, and here it is!

Name: Kip Dionaea

Allegiance: The Rebel Alliance

Description: A male Carnivine who works as a mechanic and courier for the Rebel Alliance. Although he's over a century old, he's in peak physical condition. He's been in the game for a while, and has seen a lot of strange things over the years. Nothing much fazes him anymore, and he faces the galaxy with a grin on his face and a witty remark on his mind.

Skills and Abilities: Despite coming from a species not known for their mobility, Kip has always felt the need for speed. He's learned how to fix and drive vehicles of all kind, even getting his own space ship, a light freighter known as the Millennium Blossom. With his multitude of limbs, he can pilot the ship by himself, as well as enact repairs and modifications with surprising speed. With his happy-go-lucky attitude and conversation skills, he makes a decent face man.

Connections: Kip remembers how life was before the Empire rose to power. Life was better then, and he wants things to go back to how they used to be. Joining the Rebel Alliance has literally put Kip at war with his family, who are staunch supporters of the Empire. He hides his involvement from them, and they believe him to just be a deadbeat space trucker. His greatest desire is to see a peaceful resolution to the conflict, so he could maybe reunite with his brother under better terms. His greatest fear is that his nephew, an Imperial pilot, will be hurt or killed in battle. It is for this reason that he avoids space battles whenever possible, dreading the thought of shooting down his own nephew.

Name: Cube Dustwalker

Allegiance: He's not part of anything yet, but he kind of thinks the Empire are mean since they occupy his dump of a moon, and wishes he knew how to find and help the Rebels.

Description: A small little Cubone living on the desert planetoid aptly named named Desert, orbiting planet Lavaridge in the Hoenn system. Lives with his adoptive parents and never knew who his real parents were - as such he doesn't carry the traditional Family Bone that normal Cubones in the old Kanto system do.

He works on their farm but sneaks off into the city whenever he can to meet more exciting people and see actual starships. He never felt very at home with technology, but admires spaceships because they could one day take him out into space where he could set foot on other planets with actual flora and more interesting wildlife and people.

Skills and Abilities: Cube always had good intuition, although his adoptive father just calls it paranoia. It's actually the Aura guiding him without him even knowing much about what the Aura is; his parents always tried to steer him away from such silly thoughts. Just mind the farm and keep them critters away and your life will be grand enough, boy!

He's a very skilled gunman, having practiced a lot chasing away nasty Rattata and other desert critters (and occasional bandit) from the farm, but he's not as comfortable beating people up in close quarters and prefer to hide or sneak when things get too close for comfort.

Connections: See Allegiance. He's basically a nobody right now, but if he saw the chance to sneak away from the Desert moon on a starship, he would certainly take it and not look back...

Name: Orion Koth

Allegiance: The highest bidder. Though lately he's been partial to the Rebels. Darth Lucar has shown a bit more preference to other bounty hunters in the galaxy and well, thats just not good for business.

Description:
A bounty hunter in the prime of his career, both physically and mentally, this little Squirtle that dons a purple helmet and a strap to equip his sniper rifle/laser, has made quite the name for himself around galaxy, though he's most well-known in the Kanto and Johto systems. He's a lone wolf who lives for the excitement of the hunt. With Darth Lucar in charge, all that has changed though. He has continually been bypassed for jobs for other bounty hunter who are way less skilled than Orion. Some say its because he has a bad attitude. Orion says they can all put a sock in it.

Skills and Abilities: Orion has made his living as a bounty hunter because of two things. His precision and intellect. Not the most gifted hand to hand fighter or fast-firing gunman due to his physique, Orion has opted for an alternative form of hunting. His preferred method is as a sniper and taking his targets out from a safe distance. He's racked up over 80 kills with this method not to forget those he was tasked with bringing in alive. Secondly, in those rare situations where sniping just won't cut it, he has taken to setting traps in the perfect position where only his target will fall victim and keeping civilians safe. See he's not that bad of a guy.

Connections: Not much is known about Orion's past, his mother died while giving birth to him and he hasn't seen his father in 25 years. Last he heard though, he had ventured into the Kalos system to aid the rebel forces stationed there. Ever since his father left, he has pretty much taken care of himself until stumbling into another bounty hunter by the name of Gallis Arlos, a Frogadier out of the moons of Ambrette, who taught him the trade. Gallis has since passed away though due to an injury sustained during a mission. Deeper down the line, it is said that Orion's father's father was connected to the Medi in some way but not much is known. Orion doesn't even know his grandfather's name. It is all shrouded in mystery.

Name: Lorde Stardust

Allegiance: He hides in the shadows, waiting fo the moment when he will join the battle against the Empire.

Description: When he was an Abra he became orphan, and lived alone at Ten Catarat, a moon at Alola System. He was found by Song Ogoo, a Medi hiding there. Song Ogoo accepted him as a diciple, an was basically his father, he trained him to fight and taught him everything he knows. Song Ogoo noticed he had a conection with the Aura, then he taught him how to use it and that he should never use it for egotistic purposes. When Lorde managed to use the Aura for the first time, he evolved to Kadabra.

Lorde grew up and Song died. Now Lorde is a Kadabra who has a long beard instead of moustache and who lieks kool music and lives his life meditating, training and working in the fields. He has a moon mark on his forehead instead of a star due to his race.

Skills and Abilities: He can use the Aura and fights with a Lightsaber. He also knows how to shoot, though he's not a master in it. He also knows how to work in the farm, though this is not very useful out of his home.

Connections: His parents were poor Kadabras who died from a severe disease. He was raised by Song Ogoo.

Song Ogoo was killed by a pack of biker Lycanrocs, whose leader was known as Elkis, who used to pillage the only town at Ten Catarat. Lorde wasn't present when it happened. He promised not to look for them, but also not to have pity on them if they cross his way again.

Lorde is well seen in the town. He has a friend, a Psyduck named Surfice Hiddenmac

Name:
Jenny Windu "Silver One"

Allegiance:
A rebel fighter pilot, Jenny is willing to fight and die should it mean the end of the empire.

Description:
Jenny is a Flygon, though taller and more slender than others of her species. Having only evolved into a Flygon recently, Jenny's wings are not yet fully developed, and as such she can only hover for a few seconds at a time. She is usually seen in the standard flightsuit of a rebel pilot, though enjoys wearing simpler clothing while not on duty. Her antenna are slicked back behind her head, to fit her helmet over them.

Jenny grew up looking at the stars. Every chance she got she was talking to the few pilots that stopped on the mostly water covered Pacifidlog planet of the Hoenn system, soaking up as much information as she could. It wasn't long before she owned one of her own, a small skiff to hop from village to village as needed. Jenny was thrilled, of course, but it wasn't fast enough. Over the next several months Jenny tuned and perfected her small skiff, which she christened "Landhopper." It was then that she discovered her newest hobby: skiff racing.

Apparently Jenny was a natural; it wasn't long before she had made her first splash into the sport, and was one of the youngest pilots to qualify for the biggest skiff racing event on the planet. This grand prix of sorts was held every year, and brought the best skiff racers from around the world to compete. Her entire village came to support Jenny.

She managed to make it to the final race only by a slim margin. The last of eight to make it, everything seemed stacked against her. Every position gained was a struggle, and by the final lap, Jenny had only managed to claw up to third. Being her, though, she took a major risk: cutting through a particularly dangerous portion of the course, filled with rocks. Any mistake would be the end of Landhopper, and probably Jenny as well. The crowd held their breath as Jenny was cut from view... And erupted in cheer as she rocketed out into first. The culmination of the maneuver, the crowd's cheering and her own focus triggered a change in Jenny; as she crossed the finish line her body changed. She had evolved.

The next few years saw great success for Jenny, but it wasn't enough. She was still missing something. This is when her second opportunity arrived. She ran into a pilot of a rather small cargo vessel who was looking to settle down in her village, and as such was selling his ship. Jenny didn't believe much in cosmic powers or the like, but this felt like more than a coincidence to her. It took every last scrap of her saved winnings to purchase the ship, but it wasn't long before Jenny took her first steps into her own starship. It was as if her dream had come true.

With the entire galaxy suddenly open to Jenny, she set out to find her fortune. She started with simple cargo jobs, but quickly moved on to ferrying passengers between systems as she started making a name for herself. It was during one of these outings that she ran into her first taste of the darker side of the Empire. To this point, she'd believed the empire to be a benevolent government, but her first encounter with an Imperial blockade changed that entirely. She was forced to stand idly by as an Imperial officer tore up the inside of her ship for any signs of contraband or stowaway passengers... Only to decide that while there weren't any, the Empire would be confiscating her ship anyways.

This wasn't going to fly with Jenny though. Now seeing that the Empire was just as corrupt as she'd heard rumors of, Jenny pulled her blaster on the officer.

It was over before Jenny could blink. She hadn't meant to fire, yet there lay the dead officer. It had felt almost like some external force had pushed the trigger for her. Her mind reeling from the implications, Jenny did the only thing she knew how to do: she flew. As she entered hyperspace tot he sound of Star Destroyer fire, Jenny's body went through another change. Making up her mind that she couldn't go back to her old life, Jenny had decided she'd join the Rebellion and put a stop to the Empire's tyrrany, and that decision had caused her to evolve again.

Jenny is now an exemplary fighter pilot with the rebellion, having found the most success with the small yet agile X-wing class of starfighter. She still keeps her old cargo ship with her though, as a reminder of where she came from, and a promise to her future self, should the Rebellion be successful and the Empire fall.

Skills and Abilities:
Jenny is a fantastic pilot, especially in tight situations. Years of racing and piloting have honed her reflexes, which are only compounded by her slight control over the Aura. This only extends to predictive thinking and reactions, though strangely it only seems to work when in the cockpit. She isn't the worst shot, should her target be a building, however her natural goggles definitely get in the way of any accurate shooting. She is surprisingly strong in hand-to-hand combat however, having trained almost from birth under her father's tutelage.

Connections:
Jenny may not believe her father when he says it, but her grandfather was actually one of the Medi Council: the influential and powerful Macho Windu. She dismisses this as pure coincidence, after all everyone knew the Medi Council was forbidden from having children. She believes wholeheartedly in the rebellion, believing that if someone should have to enforce their rule through terror they shouldn't rule at all.

Sorry, these two apps have evolved Pokemon without a corresponding reason in their stories to have evolved. They need a good turn of events in their history. Link the evolution to a key moment of character development and then ill accept them.

I've added the reason of the evolution:

Name: Lorde Stardust

Allegiance: He hides in the shadows, waiting fo the moment when he will join the battle against the Empire.

Description: When he was an Abra he became orphan, and lived alone at Ten Catarat, a moon at Alola System. He was found by Song Ogoo, a Medi hiding there. Song Ogoo noticed he had a conection with the Aura, then he taught him how to use it and that he should never use it for egotistic purposes. When Lorde managed to use the Aura well for the first time, he evolved to Kadabra.

That's an ok reason i suppose. I do suppose it makes a turning point where abra gains control in his life by learnjng an important skill.

But for Alakazam (if and when) itll have to be something over the top.

Approved!

Name: Fifth Brother of the Galactic Inquisitors
Byrec was his name before being trained as a Inquisitor by Darth Lucar

Allegiance: Galactic Empire. Answers to the Sith.

Description: The Fifth Inquisitor is a white Zoroark with a black tail ends of his hair. (Based off this picture, not my art. This char is male but this picture is female) His chest is black and the fur around his eyes are scarlet red. He evolved when after his long training with Darth Lucar he gave in to the darker side of himself... and the Aura. He can be very serious but this isn?t the only feature of his personality.

Byrec was sensitive to the aura to begin with. His parents lived through the great Medi Rebellion and three years afterwards they had their only son. Byrec was born to busy, proud citizens of the empire. His mother, a Zorua, was a patriot who worked within the republic-empire?s bureaucracy. His father was an Excadrill who was frequently off-world drilling for the glory of the empire.

Byrec had rather powerful experience when he was young. There was an intruder in to his family home. He was the only one awake, his father away, his mother asleep. The criminal crept in. Byrec hid beneath the sofa. The woman saw him, he pulled away, unaware he was now in full view.

His hind legs touched the cool glass wall displayed a grand vista of interweaving tendrils of floating traffic. A souvenir on the coffee table began to vibrate. It shook and shook and shook. A darkness began to overcome him, fear... and anger. Anger so violent the rock souvenir began to rip itself a part. As she came closer, she cornered him against the glass.

Suddenly a great crack spread out like a lightning slash. The enemy tried to stop him but it just wouldn?t stop. In the next moment sound flooded the room like oxygen being sucked in to a vacuum. The two windows shattered in to a billion pieces. The music of destruction summoned his mother. The robber scattered, leaving him balling beside his mother. The Castelian Police inspected the break in, but it seemed they were stretching their forces.

The Police were organising Darth Lucar?s visit during the eighth Empire Day. To vacate the area during the investigation, and to keep his mind off the events last night. Jadaar took her son to the Empire Day Parade. During the procession, Darth Lucar felt young Byrec in the Aura. He had to take him before some of the remaining Medi caught him. Jadaar was sad and reluctant to see her boy go, but when the Storm troopers came to take Byrec she didn?t have much of a choice and a feeling in her heart felt that it was right thing to do for the Empire, considering the Medi Menace. She felt proud that her child was special but a twinge of regret remained.

Byrec met Darth Lucar in the ominous fashion that accompanied the man. Red lights, imposing stature, the very presence of the Aura was so strong, so corrupting. Over the many years he trained alongside the other Inquisitors, often butting heads with the others in competition. Some of the other inquisitors bullied him for his lack of age and his general inexperience, being one of the only inquisitors having not lived when the Medi turned. The Grand Inquisitor himself was ex-Medi. Darth Lucar was very interested in getting the baby-faced Zorua to evolve in to a Zoroark. Consistently, they met and talked, Darth Lucar indoctrinated him with every word, twisting his mind around his finger. He had reached the age of maturity. Darth Lucar was getting impatient with the Zorua. Obviously, he could not unlock his full potential on all fours. He needs a weapon like the rest.

The fiendish mind of Darth Lucar had arranged for such an event to happen. To push him to his limit.

His father, Tyraggian turned up to the former Medi-Temple, the Imperial Palace. The Excadrill demanded to see his son. The son he felt he lost. He was angry that Darth Lucar took him away. Tyraggian reached out to Byrec but the wounds of Tyraggian?s absence had already festered under the careful concoction of negative feelings by Darth Lucar. The Sith offered him a choice, join his father who, he stressed, had already neglected him for all of childhood and lose all of his progress, or to stay under the tutelage.
Byrec stepped forward towards his father. The next thing that was known, Tyraggian had a red double ended pole-arm light sabre through his chest.

Byrec had thrust it in to his father with the Dark Aura. In a flash of light and immense power. Byrec grew bigger and better and stronger. When the light ebbed away, standing there was the snow white Zoroark who had gave in to his dark side. He grabbed the pole from the chest of the gasping Pokemon and whirled it around above him, ending him once and for all.

The heaving voice of Darth Lucar boomed through the halls. ?Excellent, arise Inquisitor.? He breathed. ?I name you Fifth Brother of the Inquisitorius!?

Skills and Abilities: Byrec was directly taught by Darth Lucar and also had an innate disposition to using the Aura. He can also use the Lightsabre pole-arm effectively. In the force he can manipulate objects, change his appearance in to other Pokemon. And he has a few offensive blasts of the Aura.
Connections: Byrec's master is Darth Lucar, he can commandeer fleets and ships in the name of his mission, to hunt down remaining Medi

A+. It's a wonderful app but there are a small handful of jarring spelling mistakes.

No need to edit for those however!
