Actually I don't know, DxD has never been on my radar to begin with.
All I know is the ED to the first season had some hypnotizing 3D animation.

Yeah, Study X Study is amazing. I actually learned about DxD because of that.

...Never did end up watching the show, though. It was one of those rare cases where I started watching an episode (the second episode, since I knew the backstory already) and then quickly was overcome by preconceived shallowness.

I say "preconceived" because I semi-recently saw a seen on youtube that Funi posted about the main character having an argument with an otaku, and it was legitimately funny. If the whole show is that way, I might give it a watch.

DxD actually has an interesting lore behind it. Like Campione. But the anime market required them to be degraded into the traditional fanservice, harem, and semi-porn that passes for sales nowadays.

Too bad everyone seems to have made a certain show the punching bag for all their complaints of the demographics problem.

okay netto you were right. This ACTUALLY has a pretty decent premise! So unexpected. High School DxD ain't as bad as I thought it'd be. I'm already enjoying it more than I did the latter episodes of Elfen Lied lol.

But seriously, Brace yourself folks. The discussion on Mother's Rosario is probably going to be one of the ugliest Anime discussion on the Internet this year.

There's a sheer amount of flame bait that Mother's Rosario skirts on. From Homosexuality to HIV, to the concept of Filial piety, and I think the sheer number of SAO haters would mean eventually, someone will harp on these issues to justify their dislike. And it would spiral out of control from there.

People get brainwashed into watching and just hating on this series. MAL's announcement thread got mobbed with 400+ replies in a day of announcement

Eh, who the **** cares? People are giving 3s and 4s to Kill la Kill. I say **** them. I enjoy the living **** out of it and it is the best anime of 2013 for me so whatever those stupid people say doesn't matter :p

Although yeah, if you're only into it to see the drama with popcorn in your arms, count me in too!

I should check out the SAO source material sometime. The anime didn't do it for me due to weird pacing and all. But I'm sure the actual VN or whatever it is gives proper amount of attention to characters and all. Kinda like how FSN anime wasn't anywhere near as good as he original VN. Or so fate fans say.

First half of Kill la Kill was 5/10ish for me. Only episode 3 and the Mako one were really good. I do think the second half will be better though.

SAO is just one of those totally average, clinical looking, uninspiring harem things. Plenty of uninspiring harem things can be enjoyable, just not this one for me. I read the first novel before watching the anime and it really wasn't much better than the toon.

Fate Stay Night anime was pretty meh but at least it wasn't as pretentious as the Visual Novel. Type moon are horrible.

I honestly don't understand what kind of anime appeals to you at times, lappy. :p I liked almost all episodes. Hence my 9/10 rating on MAL.

And I liked Fate Zero. And FSN UBW. I don't think the fate universe is horrible at all.
