Hello to everyone! In this tutorial I will explain how to change the music that plays in a map, but not for GBA, for DPPt!. It's not difficult to do, but you need to know some values that I will post here. Here we go!

    What you need:

    • Project Pokemon Rom Editor
    • A ROM of Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum (HGSS work, but I don't know the values for now)
    1. Open your ROM with PPRE and click "Set ROM".

2.When ndstool finishes uncompressing it, click on "Maps".

    3. You will see a window with a lot of buttons, like below. At the top, you can choose which map to edit (Twinleaf Town, Route 201, etc.)

    4. When you have opened the map you want, now you need to change the value circled with red in the picture above. This value determines which music to play on that map.

    5. Change the value to the one of the music you want:

    1000 - Pal Park
    1033 - Twinleaf Town
    1034 - Sandgem Town
    1037 - Route 225
    1038 - Resort Area
    1039 - Jubilife City
    1035 - Floaroma Town
    1040 - Canalave City
    1041 - Oreburgh City
    1042 - Eterna City
    1043 - Hearthome City
    1044 - Pastoria City
    1045 - Veilstone City
    1046 - Sunyshore City
    1047 - Snowpoint City
    1048 - Pokémon League
    1049 - Fight Area
    1050 - Route 201
    1051 - Route 203
    1052 - Route 205
    1053 - Route 206
    1054 - Route 209
    1055 - Route 210
    1056 - Route 216
    1057 - Route 228
    1062 - Victory Road
    1063 - Eterna Forest
    1064 - Old Chateau
    1065 - Lake's Cave
    1067 - Galactic HQ
    1068 - Galactic HQ 2
    1069 - Great Marsh
    1070 - Lake
    1071 - Mt. Coronet
    1072 - Spear Pillar
    1073 - Stark Mountain
    1074 - Oreburgh Gate
    1075 - Oreburgh Mine
1076 - Inside the Pokémon League
    1077 - Record's Room
    1086 - Pokémon Center
    1087 - Pokémon Gym
    1090 - Pokémon Mart
    1093 - TV Station
    1094 - Galactic HQ 3
    1096 - Arceus
    1097 - GTS

    6. Click on "Save changes".

    7. Type the name you want for the modified ROM in the bottom textbox and click on "Write ROM". Don't forget to add .nds at the end of the name.

    8. Open your ROM and test it!

I hope this tutorial has helped you, and contact me if you find any errors!

I'll try and get the values for HeartGold and SoulSilver.

Edit: Apparently, they are not the same values here. They aren't in PPRE at all, in fact.
