@iMareth: Basically, if you place Litwick in your shop, you will label it as Non-Redis or Non redistributable. You can trade it and your customers cannot.

I am available for trading now but also ^__^:

  • Pre-requisites for Standard Seed Abuse
    • Pokémon Black or Pokémon White
    • RNG Reporter
    • Nintendo DS Original or a DS Lite
      • DSi, DSi XL, and 3DS systems will NOT work
    • MAC Address, unique to every Nintendo DS/Lite system
      • Open Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings from either the Main Menu or through the C-Gear.
      • Click the orange box, Options.
      • Click the pink box, System Information.
      • Your MAC Address is shown.
      • Copy the entire MAC Address (ignore the hyphens). Write it down and/or store it somewhere easily accessible (e.g. a forum post).
      • Click for image of how to obtain MAC Address from Nintendo Wi-Fi Settings
    • Helpful Pokemon when RNG abusing
      • "The Sweet Scenter" - Obtain any Pokemon knowing the move Sweet Scent (e.g. Foongus level 25; Maractus level 3).
      • "The Synchronizer" - Obtain any Pokemon having the ability Synchronize (e.g. Munna, Elgyem). It will pass its nature 50% of the time to the wild Pokemon target.
      • "The Quick Egg Hatcher" - Obtain a Pokemon with the ability Flame Body (e.g. Magby, Slugma, Litwick, Larvesta). While in the party, it reduces the amount of steps taken to hatch an egg.
      • "The Chatot / Chatter" - Obtain a Chatot (not found in B/W; found in Dream World's Windswept Sky or Wi-Fi). Teach it the move Chatter. Click on its Chatter as if it were an HM. Teach Chatot any recorded sound by using your DS microphone.
      • "The Flier" - Obtain any Pokemon knowing the HM Fly. You're hopeless without your flier! Volcarona has Flame Body and can Fly.
      • "Flawless Parents" - Obtain any Ditto and/or flawless parent Pokemon with 30/31 IVs in desirable stats.
    • Your Secret ID, or SID, if abusing for Shiny Pokemon.
    • IV Calculator
    • Do not use an Action Replay nor a flashcart

Finding Your DS Parameters
Click on the thumbnails on the right for additional guidance!
Images
Colors match!
Step 1

  • Obtain a Sweet Scenter. Place it in your party.
  • Have a party of 5 or less Pokemon.
  • Save your game in Victory Road. You will be catching a wild Pokemon momentarily.
  • Download and open the RNG Reporter.
  • Click the DS Parameters Search button.
Step 1

Step 2

  • Enter your game's version and language. Select the DS Type as DS Original/DS Lite.
  • Enter your entire DS MAC Address (as all numbers; ignore the hyphens).
  • Ensure that the Held Buttons are set to None.
  • Ensure that the remaining Seed Encryption variables are the default.
  • As for the Seconds...
Step 2

Step 3

  • The Date and Time is based on the DS's internal clock on the DS menu. Use this clock to hit your Target Time.
  • Choose any Target Date, Hour, Minute, but use 25 Seconds.
  • In this example, my Target Time is July 20th, 6:13:25. I set my DS clock to July 20th, 6:13:00. Save DS options. Power off. Power on.
  • From the DS Main Menu, at the moment the seconds hand clearly hits 25 seconds, click the A button to launch the Pokemon game.
Step 3

Step 4

  • Do NOT press any buttons until the white "Pokemon Company, Nintendo" message disappears. You can click A the moment you see the Gamefreak logo and opening cutscene. Load your save file.
  • Do NOT launch the C-Gear. Use Sweet Scent immediately to enter a Pokemon battle. Catch that Pokemon.
  • Use an IV Calculator to find the Pokemon's IV ranges.
  • Input its IV ranges into RNG Reporter.
Step 4

Step 5

  • Click the Search button.
  • If you get 2 or more results, examine the Actual Seconds column. Pick the result having an Actual Second closest to your second. In this example, I clicked A at 25 seconds. I look at the result with 26 seconds. I ignore the second result of 33 seconds.
  • Write down your Timer0 value. In this example, my Timer0 value is C7C.
Step 5

Step 6

  • You will be repeating the process of catching a Pokemon again. Turn off the DS. Turn on the DS.
  • While on the DS Main Menu, note the Date/Time. Aim to hit another Target Time.
  • In this example, I want to hit a Target Time of July 20th, 6:17:25.
  • Do use 25 Seconds again for better results. Update this new Target Time in RNG Reporter. Erase the IV ranges.
Step 6

Step 7

  • Hit that Target Time. Load the game. Sweet Scent a Pokemon. Catch it. Calculate IV Ranges. Enter the IV Ranges. Click Search.
  • Note the Actual Second and Timer0 value again. Do this capture process 1-5 more tries until you find your most common Timer0 value.
  • In this example, my second trial gives me Actual Seconds 26 and Timer0 Value C7C. On my third trial, I get a Timer0 value of C7D. I'll be using C7C as it is my more common Timer0 Value. You CANNOT control your Timer0 Value.
Step 7

  • What the heck does all of this mean, twilight???
So why exactly did you make me catch Kevin the Durant?
    • The basic 5th Generation RNG process is: By using your DS's unique parameters, the RNG Reporter will find suitable shiny/IV Target Spreads. You will attempt to hit the Target Time of this Target Spread.
    • "Unique?" You MUST use the exact DS system, game file, and its parameters when you are searching for shiny/IV spreads. Changing your DS system, Wi-Fi Settings, or Pokemon version will give you errors. If you have multiple DS systems, they will have different parameters.
    • "My Parameters...." Keep your MAC Address and Timer0 values stored safely either in RNG Reporter, a document, or a forum post/message.
    • "Timer0 Values" They should be adjacent, or nearby. Least to greatest: C7A, C7B, C7C, C7D, C7E, C7F, C80, C81, C82 and so on. Let me know if you got others.
    • "Held Buttons?" Known as Keypresses. More keypresses = More results = more time. You will have the option of searching target spreads with no held buttons and target spreads requiring 1, 2, and up to 3 button combinations. I like to search 1 or 2 Keypresses.
    • [a id]Actual Second[/a id]"Target Time..?" Notice the differential of 1 second? When I had hit a Target Second of 25, I got an Actual Second of 26. This means that when you are attempting to hit Target Times, you will click the A button 1 second before your Target Time to make up for this 1 second delay.
      • For example, some flawless spread is at October 12th, 15:26:58. I set my DS clock to 15:26:00 and will click A at 15:26:57. This allows me to hit 15:26:58.

  • I am not getting any results...
Go through all possibilities before asking for help.
    • Make sure that you are hitting the correct military time.
    • Make sure that you are not holding any buttons when loading the Pokemon game. After clicking A, allow the white screen and Pokemon Company, Nintendo message to play. You may begin pressing any buttons as soon as the shooting stars / Gamefreak logo plays.
    • You do not have to button mash and you should not be. Just hit the target time and normally enter the game world.
    • Make sure that you are not turning on the C-Gear or activating Wi-Fi.
    • Make sure that you were saved in an area with wild Pokemon (e.g. Victory Road).
    • Make sure that you were saved with a prepared party (e.g. Sweet Scenter). Do NOT withdraw party members.
    • Make sure you are not walking around. Use Sweet Scent ASAP.
    • Make sure you are not attempting RNG abuse while charging the DS.
    • Make sure you are using the same DS and Pokemon version you used to obtain your MAC address and DS Parameters.
    • Check everything entered in RNG Reporter. The Pokemon version, the language, the MAC address.
    • Widen your parameter search range and/or redo your parameter search.
    • If all else fails, explain your procedure and problems.

Hatching Flawless Shiny Pokemon
Click on the thumbnails on the right for additional guidance!
Images
Colors match!
Step 1

  • Gather good/flawless daycare parents and an Everstone. Know IVs of parents.
  • Give Everstone to the parent with a desirable natue. Do NOT give Power Items to the parents. Deposit them into the Daycare and ride around on your bike until they produce an egg.
  • Have a party of 5 or less Pokemon, including helpful Pokemon: Chatter, Quick Egg Hatcher, Flier. Optional: Sweet Scenter.
  • Save your game directly in front of the Day-Care Old Man.
  • Open the RNG Reporter.
  • Click the Time Finder button.
Step 1

Step 2

  • Go to the Capture tab.
  • From the Method dropdown menu, select Method 5 (Standard Seed).
  • Then, click the 5th Gen DS Parameter Setup tab.
  • This step may not seem necessary, but it allows you to edit the box so you can enter the MAC address.
Step 2

Step 3

  • Enter your entire MAC Address, Version+language, DS Lite/Original, and No to Soft Reset.
  • Choose your preference for the Keypresses. Click the Skip L\R Buttons box if your L\R buttons don't work.
  • If you found one Timer0 value, input that in twice.
  • If you found two Timer0 values, input your Timer0 Minimum and Timer0 Maximum.
  • The other settings should be the default.
Step 3

Step 4

  • Go to the 4th/5th Gen Shiny Egg tab.
  • Enter Breeding Type: BW and Everstone Nature: whatever nature. If you are using international parents and/or not using Everstone, just update the program accordingly.
  • Adjust Year, Month, and Min/Max Frame as 45 to 300.
  • Make sure this is on: Show Inheritance. Update the other checkboxes as desired.
Step 4

Step 5

  • Customize Nature, Ability, Gender, and Gender Ratio.
  • Use Serebii.net to look up Gender Ratio.
  • Use RNG Reporter's built-in Pokedex-IV Checker to check what ability is 0 and 1 for Pokemon with dual abilities. For example, Solosis's Magic Guard is always ability 1.
  • Enter your save file's ID and SID.
  • Enter IVs of the Parent Pokemon.
  • Genderless breeding considers Ditto as the female parent.
Step 5

Step 6

  • Customize IVs using =31 or >=30 as desired.
  • Click Generate.
  • Wait several moments until RNG Reporter returns results.
Step 6

Step 7

  • Look at the generated table.
  • Examine the Frame column. A good frame number is between 50 to 150. Any frame between 45-50 could possibly be impossible to hit. Any frame above 150 is just more time consuming to hit but is still an option available to you.
  • Examine the Date/Time column. Pick a time with seconds between 15 to 59. This is an easy Target Time to hit. Any second between 0-14 is time consuming to hit (you have to adjust your DS clock to a whole minute before).
  • Examine the Keypress column. Remember the buttons.
Step 7

Step 8

  • Once you pick a Target Spread you like, right click its row. Click Copy Seed to Clipboard. For example, my seed is 7563CF42EF2C2831.
  • Minimize the Time Finder window. Return to the Main Menu of RNG Reporter.
  • From the dropdown menu, change Method to Breeding (BW). If using foreign parents, use Method Breeding (BW, International).
  • Paste your Seed into the Seed (Hex) box.
Step 8

Step 9

  • Enter Everstone nature and Max Results as 300.
  • Update ID, SID, and all the checkboxes.
  • Update the checkbox if your Tornadus/Thundurus is roaming.
  • Click the button Calculate Initial PIDRNG frame.
  • Your Starting Frame should have changed to any number between 40 and 60.
  • Note: The shiny box doesn't have to be checked everytime.
Step 9

Step 10

  • Click Generate. We verify that our shiny frame exists and everything was done right. (Note: if you did not check the Shiny box, a !!! frame should still appear somewhere on the generated table).
  • Subtract the number in the Frame column from the number in the Starting Frame box.
  • For example, Frame 53 - Starting Frame 49 = 4.
  • The difference gives you how many frame advancements you must do in order to get the shiny egg.
Note: The Calculated Starting Frame is not 100%. We will determine the Shifted Starting Frame too.
Step 10

Step 11

  • This part will be very similar to steps 3 and 4 of Finding your DS Parameters.
  • If you recall in step 7, my Target Date: 09/06/11 and my Target Time is 06:55:39. I set my DS clock to September 6 and 06:55:00. You perform a similar process too.
  • Since my Target Second is 39, I click 1 second ahead of that Target Second. I will be pressing A at the DS main menu at this moment: 06:55:38.
  • As soon as you click A, press and hold your Keypress combination if you need to. Hold them until you get completely past the until the white "Pokemon Company, Nintendo" message.
Step 11

Step 12

  • Continue your file. Do NOT launch C-Gear. Immediately press X to pause and open your party. You should be saved in front of the Daycare.
  • Open your party. Go the the Chatot. View its summary. Every time the game loads its cry in the summary page, the PIDRNG Frame is advanced by 1.
  • In this example, I calculated that I had to do 4 Chatter advancements.
  • Tip: If you have to do many Chatter advancements, like 100, you can have 2 Chatot in your party and flip back and forth between them. You do not have to listen to the whole cry so you can flip quite fast.
Step 12

Step 13

  • Do NOT save or resave the game during this process. Saving would change the NPCs behavior on the next attempt and thus ruin your efforts.
  • Upon completing your Chatter advancements, exit the party and immediately collect the egg. You do not want the wandering trainers (including those offscreen) on the route advancing the PID RNG.
  • OPTIONAL: Fly to the Pokemon League. Go to Victory Road and immediately enter a battle (either using Sweet Scent or turning your character in place). Just try not to walk around a lot when doing this step.
  • Catch that first wild Pokemon. Get its IVs.
Step 13

Step 14

  • Go back to RNG Reporter, Main Menu.
  • From the dropdown menu, change Method to Method 5 (Standard Seed).
  • Change Starting Frame to 1.
  • Click Generate. Look at Frames 14-20. If the Pokemon from Victory Road has roughly matching IVs on the table, you have successfully hit your seed. Proceed to slow hatch the egg.
  • If you cannot find a rough match, reset and change your DS clock to attempt to hit your Target Time again.
Step 14

Step 15

  • After you hatch it and it's shiny, congrats. Come again soon.
  • After you hatch it and it's non shiny, you advanced too much.
  • Return to viewing Breeding (BW) Method (or International if applicable to you).
  • Calculate the Starting Frame again.
  • Uncheck the shiny box. Click Generate.
Step 15

Step 16

  • Review the Natures your generated table. You should have landed maybe 1-5 frames after your Target Frame.
  • If you hatch a Pokemon non-Everstone nature, just match it on the table. If you hatch a Pokemon with the Everstone nature, you may have trouble matching it. Just do 1 less Chatter the next time until you happen to land on a non-Everstone nature.
  • For example, I hatched a Bashful Pokemon, which happens to be on Frame 57. I am trying to hit Frame 53. 57-53=4. I need to do 4 less Chatter advancements in order to get that Calm Shiny Pokemon. On my next attempt, I will do 0 Chatter advancements.
  • This time, I successfully hatched a shiny Pokemon.
Step 16

  • Twistedpuppy's Tips on finding the Shifted Frame
Another approach to steps 12-16 to help the reader determine their starting frame.
    • Continue your file. Do NOT launch C-Gear. Immediately collect the egg from the daycare man. You should be saved in front of the Daycare.
    • Hatch the egg and take note of its nature, gender, and ability. Make sure it is flawless by taking it to the IV judge in the Battle Subway. Do NOT save the game after you've hatched the egg.
    • Turn off the game and repeat step 11. This time before collecting the egg, immediately press X to pause and open your party.
    • Open your party. Go the Chatot and view its summary. Every time the game loads its cry in the summary page, the PIDRNG Frame is advanced by 1.
    • Upon completing 1 Chatter advancement, exit the party and immediately collect the egg. You do not want the wandering trainers (including those offscreen) on the route advancing the PIDRNG.
    • Hatch the egg again taking notice of its nature, gender, and ability. Repeat step 11 and 12, but this time increase the Chatter advancements to 2 before collecting the egg.
    • After hatching the egg a third time, look at the sequence of natures found while hatching your egg. In our example I found a sequence of Calm, Calm, Rash. This means I will have to advance the PIDRNG Frame by 3 since my starting frame was 50.

  • Kirozane's Tips on finding the Shifted Frame
Another approach to steps 12-16 to help the reader determine their starting frame.
    • Look at the gender, nature, and ability of this hatch. (For Elgyem, Ability 0 is Telepathy, Ability 1 is Synchronize). Click for image
    • Now see if you can match it up with the list on RNG Reporter. If it isn't in the first 6 or so (AKA if you have to start scrolling to look), you messed up on your timing. Shut off the DS, put the time back and try again. This one, however, does match up. Click for image
    • So now, we have our starting frame. Subtract that from the target frame to get how many Chatot chatters you should have to do to advance the initial frame to the target frame.Click for image
    • Now shut off the DS, set the time back to the target, and repeat your loading process. This time, when you pause it, go into the pokemon menu. Select your first Chatot (They should already have a custom chatter) and go into its summary. Click for image
    • Shuffle through them until you get to your target. (21 chatters for me. Actually, 22, but I will explain how I figured that out in a moment). Click for image
    • Take a breath, exit the menu and get the egg as quickly as possible. Pick up a parent if you so choose, and go hatch the egg. Click for image
    • If you played your cards right, when it hatches, you should have your well IV'd (Shiny if you used your SID) pokemon. Click for image
    • If your timing was right, and you believe your Chatot chatters were correct, and the egg still turns out wrong, go through the list on the main page until you find where your spread should be. See if you can find the spread of what you got around it. If you can, adjust your chatter count accordingly. (21 got me the Quiet one at frame 75. Thus, I added one chatter and got to frame 76, and thus my shiny. Click for image

In response to your CMT, sorry, nothing caught my attention.
In that case I'll work on a few breeding projects. I'll work on a Shelmet. I'll work for an IV spread of:
Hasty (or Timid?)
30+/30+/30+/30+/30+/30+
Spikes / x / x / x

Any other specifications you would like to add to it (e.g. hatch location, gender, NN)?
What other bred 5 gen pokes would interest you that I could work on?

I'm very interested in Hustle Nidoran male and Sheer Force Nidoking! I already cloned Golurk and Golett, so you can choose or have both when we trade.
