Trying to decide whether it should evolve into Dusknoir or stay a Dusclops. Dusclops has better defenses with eviolite. Dusknoir has the leeway to hold other items though and has better attack stats. Dusclops has a red shiny that's more bold, Dusknoir is subtler and kinda gray blue. Which way do i go?
I think you should focus on preferred appearance alone. Pokémon Showdown is far more accessible than cart for competitive play (especially when it comes to older gens), and I doubt Dusclops vs Dusknoir will make a difference in Battle facilities (unless you're pushing for a high streak, in which case I doubt Dusknoir will be good enough).

The bold red of Duskull/Dusclops is unusual and truly striking; Dusknoir's blue is just a soft tint. Personally, I'd have no doubts about keeping it unevolved.

A mere 800 eggs and I now have a shiny Leafeon in a Safari Ball =D

Spoiler:

I stopped at 50 eggs during that round as I got the above Eevee while breeding up my first box. And then the game gave me another one while hatching those eggs:
Spoiler:

Idk why, but this is the 4th time the game has given me an additional shiny Eevee while breeding for only one.
The first one was a second shiny Sport Ball eevee, which I gave away in the Trade Corner.
Second one was a second shiny Dream Ball eevee, which has been successfully given away through the Eeveelution club.
Third one is a second shiny Level Ball Eevee, which I kept and I do not consider spare simply so I can have both a normal shiny eevee and a G-max shiny eevee :coolcat:
And now it gave me a second shiny Safari Ball Eevee @[email protected]

Anyway one more eeveelution to shiny breed now. But I'm gonna put that on hold as my mind can't held too much eevee abandonment eevee shiny breeding in a row.
Gonna go do one of my favorite mons from gen 8 instead =D

I recently went through a situation similar to yours, ReKoil.

Less than a week ago, I decided I wanted an Adamant, No Guard, Shiny Midnight Lycanroc. After S.O.S. chaining a Steadfast Rockruff, it was time to — in typical Ru fashion — visit Paniola Ranch and crack open some eggs. Many, many eggs.

The first Shiny, Kaerra, popped up in no more than 30 eggs and rolled Keen Eye; it was so early I didn't even have my final parents set up. The second one, Sebeul, arrived roughly 700-900 eggs after Kaerra and also rolled Keen Eye. Both hatchlings were given to friends, leaving me empty-handed.

My perseverance carried me onward. While listening to Ayreon's The Source, I swore I'd name the next Shiny after Sirrah, the star that gets name-dropped in the album's storyline, if the pup hatched during the video's runtime.

Well, not even 24 hours after Sebeul's arrival, the stars aligned!

Randomly bumped into a shiny Murkrow in Violet while heading towards the Auctions after doing the Chesnaught 7 star raid.
Figured I might as well post all my random shinies from Violet so far; random as in I didn't hunt for them but just ran into them.

Wrapped up my Shiny Moon Ball Indeedee hunt today. Indeedee is one of my all time favorite Pokemon. I mean just look at these two precious Pokemon :fufu:

Spoiler:

First indeedee hatched in my first round of 150 eggs, second one the day after in the next batch. However both were Male and I wanted both forms... so on I pressed.
Today at a total of 1.800 eggs hatched I was blessed by the Female Indeedee as well. I did not know Indeedee's egg steps were on par with that of a pseudo's when I started this hunt, but it could've been far worse.
I was dreading having potentially hatched like 8 shiny male ones and like a total egg count in the tens of thousands before it would give me the other form shiny.

Spoiler:

The first and third shiny Indeedee inherited the HA too :coolcat:

Two camp images:
Spoiler:
The first image is 2 screenshots meshed together as I could not for the life of me get both of them to do the animation at the same time D=

It was nearing 1 AM on the 3rd of June. In hopes of undergoing the time-honoured tradition of Pooching yourself acquiring a Shiny Hoenn starter, I'd been blasting A+B+START+SELECT four times a minute on Ruby for long enough to reach around 9000-10000 resets. While squeezing in "just a few more attempts" after turning off my PC — all the while being a lapse of focus away from falling asleep — I got startled awake by unusual visuals and sound. The time had come: Shiny Treecko!

I don't have any interest in Shiny Mudkip, and, should I ever resume my ancient Shiny Torchic hunt (Hatching eggs on Emerald. I wonder if anyone still remembers that?), I won't be seeing any wild Pokémon. For better or worse, I have escaped the hazing ritual of the golden pooch!
