[Released] Pokémon Starfall Version

Story:

At the dawn of time during the year 50BAE(before Arceus Event), the world was in disorder and was chaotic.
An uncontrollable land of destruction and disaster.
Humans barely have anywhere to live and mostly resided on islands in the sky.

A group of people in the sky islands called upon a great power.
This great power gave the child a Pokemon and the ability to life various lives to keep the world safe.

Meanwhile, in the year 20XXAAE(After Arceus Event).
You play as Chris or Karis, a young adult who's about to embark on a journey of a lifetime.
Professor Yew is giving out free Pokemon to anyone who arrives at his lab today, and has even
offered you a apprenticship as a Pokédex Entry Maker.
Your job is to travel the region of Arbix, and collect as many Pokémon as you can and fight the
many gyms that are along the way.

Features:

- Roughly 200 Pokémon to catch
Roughly 200 Pokemon from Generation I - V are included.
I usually make it a rule of mine with fan games to not include every Pokémon in the game.
I feel too many Pokémon is a bad thing, I've tried to give a varied amount of types, and Pokémon as well.
I will release a Pokédex List closer to a demo, and if anyone wishes for a Pokemon to be included that has not been it can be requested and I shall consider that Pokémon line.

-PokéStrap UI Tool

The Pokéstrap is a UI Tool which makes certain important trainer infomation availible without entering a menu.
Currently the UI will show, First Pokémon, Current Location Name, Pokédex Seen/Catch value, Money, and Badges.

-Light and Sound Types

Two new types are introduced in game, The Sound Type is a type recently discovered and officialised by Professor Pine.
Light type are long forgotten type which are only mere myths in modern times. It's rumoured that some Light Type's exist, and even light type forms of existing Pokémon.
Many ancient ruins hint of the existance of Light Types around the region also.

-Light Type Forms

As well as some Light Type Pokémon, some Pokemon that aren't light type have forms that are light type.
Some of these Pokemon are: The Mareep Line. The Nidoran Line (both genders). The Natu Line. and a few more.
There is also an original Pokemon Legendary Light Type.


- The Arbix Region
[/SIZE]
The Arbix Region is a lush green woodland region to the far north of Johto and Kanto.
It's considered a holiday destination for many People and is very high on top destinations for tourism.

Arbix has it's own Pokémon League located in Scarlet Hills, the second highest point of Arbix.
8 Gyms accompany the League spread throughout the Region.

There is a short Discord Demo avalible on the Starfall Discord Server
The Demo features only 1 Gym right now and mostly functions as an open beta test for anyone to try out and give constructive critisism.
Every week or so I add more content until a Demo 2 (featuring 3 - 4 gyms) is released.

Gen 6 - 8 I'll need to find, or make sprites for those Pokemon, and personally barely any Gen 6 - 8 interest me.
And, suggest as many as you want, I'll do my best to consider, and accomodate.

Gastly is in. (with light forms)
Bagon isn't in, but will be considered.
Larvesta is possible
Tangela won't be included, the Pokémon doesn't really match the enviroment of my region.
Venonat will be considered
Gligar is in.
Starly won't be in. I've added a few generic normal birds
Staryu is a possible
Shellder and Cloyster don't really have a place to be put in my region, as cold-ish water places are non-existant in my region.
Machop, and Joltik are in already
Togepi is a definite.
Ferroseed I'll consider
Onix is in.
Exeggucute I'll consider
Misdrevius is already in
Makuhita will be considered
Tympole will be considered
Lotad is already in the game. Ludicolo being a Sound-Type inclusion
Gible is a possibility
Vanillite won't be included unless I can find a way to naturally shoe-horn in a colder dungeon
Shinx could be possible, but with Pikachu, Mareep, Voltorb, Magnemite and a bunch of other Electric types. Not sure if adding it will give Electric the majority of the Pokédex.
Drifloon is a possible.
Sandile is in
Shroomish might be in, i'll double check
Houndour is in.
Chinchou is possible, but again with the over abundance of Electrics
Electabuzz, and Magmar are in, but Jynx is not as again I don't have much of a cold area. (I'll consider though, need to make a snowy area)

Today's Progress:

I've started to make the first Rival Event in Pineta Town before meeting Professor Pine.
Jenna as well as being an ally/friend throughout the story will also fufill the
rival aspect that all Pokemon games usually have.

Also, the current Pokédex List. (Open to Questions, Queries and Suggestions (For new Pokemon or type changes, or Light Form Suggestions). There's currently 230 Pokemon. Max I'll add is 300.)

Small Update:
Been working on the Professor's Lab.
Got to event the initial meet with her, and then her event in a different location.
Then I get map toward the city of the first gym.

I've been working on the first meeting with the Regional Professor. "Professor Pine".
She studies the history of the region and it's many myths.
She knows a little about the word "Liforia" that you heard in a dizzy spell and asks you check out the local ruins.
There's also books inside her Lab with have basic History of the Region, and some lore for the story that most people in the region don't fully understand.

Update for the day:

just some cutscenes, and now I can return to doing more mapping.
Making the third route, which leads to Elbreth City location of the first major dungeon, and the first gym.

I've been slowly working on extra characters to play as.
You'll have the choice of 6, currently only 4 are designed.
Need to make backsprites for them, and front sprites too.

Production on Starfall has begun again!

I'm starting from the top again, keeping the story somewhat similar, but re-doing everything else.

What are Sound and Light's Strengths and Weaknesses, and also, will the Hoenn and Sinnoh starters be in this game too

Sound is weak to:
Water, Flying, Ground, Poison and Light.
Sound is resistant to:
Electric, Steel, and Fairy.
Sound is immune to:
Sound.

Light is weak to:
Grass and Poison.
Light is resistant to:
Fighting and Light.
Light is Immune to:
Dark.

There's no plans for Hoenn or Sinnoh Starters.
The only planned starters are Johto, and Unova.
