Appearance: Bryce is kind of on the short side. He stands at 5 feet even. He weighs about 120 pounds. His build is small. While he’s not skin and bones, he does not have much muscle content. He has dark brown eyes. His hair is trimmed short. His skin has a slight tan to it. Once, he wore glasses but stopped wearing them because he thought they made him look weak.
Bryce favorite outfit is a red, black, and white striped polo shirt, tucked out, and khaki pants. He has a black coat that he wears whenever it is cold outside. This is stuffed away in his backpack or draped over his shoulder when it is not cold. He wears all-white tennis shoes. He can always be seen with his blue backpack. He likes to keep it kind of heavy, maybe so that he could maybe bulk up a bit, though this never succeeds. He is one to always keep himself well-groomed.
Personality: Bryce is described as a power hungry tyrant by those who know him. He is very controlling. He would never give up to someone else’s wishes if they do not match his own. In fact, if he does not get his way, he throws a fit. Once, his parents tried to send him to a reformatory school, but this only proved to make him even worse. Many people think that he is spoiled but it is the exact opposite. This is explained more in the history.
Bryce’s battle style with Pokémon is very aggressive. He will do whatever it takes to win a battle or make his Pokémon stronger. Many times, he disregards even the Pokémon’s health. He does care for them, but he would not usually realize this until something terrible happens to the Pokémon. Then, he spends all of his time trying to fix things and promising to be a better trainer, only to revert back to his old ways in a day or two.
History: Bryce grew up in Sandgem Town, where he attended the Pokémon Academy in Jubilife City. As a child, he was picked on because of he was smaller than the other kids. Whether this was the true reason or whether it was jealousy, he did not know. Bryce’s family was better off than most. His father had helped to create the Pokedex. He himself knew a great deal about Pokémon and how to exploit certain traits in order to improve upon the Pokémon, constantly playing with and helping to train the Pokémon that his father kept around the house, although he never owned one of his own. He always played either by himself, or with a fellow classmate who was also picked on.
One day, while the local bully was picking on him and his friend, he decided that enough was enough. He decided that only the weak would survive in this world. Only the strong and aggressive would make it and become successful. It was only natural. This law applied to both humans and Pokémon alike. Weak humans and weak Pokémon would only perish in today’s world. From that day forth, Bryce devoted himself to surrounding himself with strong people and even stronger Pokémon. That way, he could only succeed.
When Bryce heard of the new Pokémon distribution soon to come to Sandgem Town, he decided that now was as good a time as ever to begin his Pokémon journey…
Selene considers herself average for a girl. She doesn’t strive to be too thin, even though it is in her genetics. She has an average body size, though some people consider her to be skinny. As far as her height goes, she stands at roughly five feet and six inches tall. It seems like she hasn’t inherited her father’s height, which is something she’s thankful for. Her chest size is rather small, which is something that she inherits from her mother. This particularly annoys her even though she pretends it doesn’t. Selene has very, very light tan skin. It looks like she got a slight tan in the sun really, her tan is so light. As for her hair, it’s soft and silky and black. She refuses to use any chemical product on her hair, for fear of messing up its softness. Moving onto her face. Selene’s face is a soft oval shape that some consider almost perfect. She has light chocolate brown eyes, something she inherited from her father’s side of the family.
As far as clothing goes, Selene gets her choices mostly from her mother’s tomboyishness when she was a kid. Selene will often wear a pair of jeans (much like the rest of her family, as a matter of fact) and a simple and random T-shirt. She has recently become addicted to the slightly newer clothes that have been arriving in the region. That being said, she enjoys the jeans that are beginning to come out looking worn when in reality they are new. She also likes T-shirts of famous bands that reside in Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn. Sinnoh’s development has sort of stretched her choices in clothing, though she probably won’t dream of straying too far from the average shirt and jeans look. For shoes, Selene just sticks with a pair of Converse that her mom managed to bring back on one of her trips to see her parents in Johto. They’re black with red on the tongue and heel, and Selene loves them because she thinks her shoes look unique compared to everyone else’s. For accessories, Selene sticks with a necklace she got from her father made out of gold, a guy’s watch, and two bracelets on her right wrist.
Selene has often been told by her Uncle Chad and her father that she’s very much like her mother when she was Selene’s age. Selene is rather tomboyish, doesn’t like arrogant guys, and is an average person generally. To elaborate on the being average part, Selene is almost like multiple personalities split into one mush of average. She can be very friendly, especially if she’s around someone she likes or her friends. She can also be very mean and cold to people, especially if (for some odd reason) she immediately dislikes them. Selene can also get very shy, especially around her peers and people she doesn’t know. This occasionally will result in her being known as one of those quiet girls but, unless you really know her, that’s a completely false statement to make. Often Selene will be happy go lucky and loud around her friends. She might seem great at first, but she does have quite a few flaws in her personality. The greatest one is her temper. Selene will often get angry about things that she thinks is unfair, or something of the like, and this will cause her to get stubborn. By stubborn, I mean that if someone told her to do something she wouldn’t do it, no matter who they were.
To sum her up so she doesn’t seem as crazy in regards to personality, here’s what she is. All around she gets along better with guys, doesn’t like being pushed around, can be shy but is normally friendly, and isn’t someone that you would want to make mad. Basically her personality is completely her mom’s, the only thing she really gets from her dad is the fact that she’s fairly smart for her age. Selene has also lived a good life, so it’s stuck with her and has probably molded her personality to the way it is. Selene also is often thinking and asking people questions, but she keeps this to herself. She doesn’t want people to really know she thinks this way, because she would rather be known as someone who has just a funny personality rather than a serious one.
Selene was born in Sinnoh, and has lived there ever since. The rest of her family (her mother, father, uncles, aunts, and brother) all grew up in Johto or Kanto. This annoys Selene a bit, because really she’s never been outside Sinnoh but they seem to have all gone out in the world. This is one of the things that stimulated her into becoming a Pokemon trainer. Selene grew up in a fairly average household. Her parents didn’t really fight at all, so she is pretty sheltered in that way. Though she may seem naive at first, Selene knows the troubles that the world holds because she’s experienced quite a few of these (such as her friend deserting her) already. She is also no stranger to how perverted guys can be. So yes, she’s sheltered in a few ways, but not too many.
Many people often say that they greatly dislike having a sibling and such, but Selene actually finds it great to have an older brother. They always got along very well, so she never really thought twice about disliking him. She and her brother often hung out together, especially when they were younger. When she turned 11, however, he began to venture further away from her and towards his own friends. So from then on, Selene was basically on her own and quiet around her family. She grew up though, and they began to get closer again, so Selene is a bit sad that she’s leaving him for her journey. As far as her parents go, Selene has a very close relationship with her mother, and a pretty close one to her father. She’s also very close to her “Uncle” Chad. All in all, her home-life and past is very good.

Name: Shaun Tess
Appearance: Shaun is of 5ft 6in height, just barely over the height of girls. However this doesn't bother him since he know that he has plenty of time to grow. Seventeen is such a young age, after all. Shaun has messy black hair that can never seem to be straightened, often getting him into trouble at scholl for have a 'messy attire'. The clothing Shaun wears is usually the same everyday. He wears blue jeans whose color has faded away from years of misuse, with the occasional rip or hole in them. Shaun also wears a black shirt. It is plain with no symbol, words or anything. He doesn't see the point in wearing in exaggerated clothing with pictures that just pop out at you. He wears what he likes and what he likes are comfortable clothes.
When forced into nice or fancy situations, he'll trade his ripped jeans for a nice pair of black jeans or dress pants, followed by a white, button up long sleeved shirt. He'll have the color flattened, and although he'll feel a bit old fashioned, he always felt a bit powerful because he always felt he just looked so stinkin' good in it. He is quite aware that he has a large ego, but believes that he has more bite than bark
Personality: Shaun is incredibly competive, though he doesn't always win what he does. It infuriates him, and he'll sulk for a few days before getting over it and working hard again, trying to win the next competition. While Shaun doesn't run around laughing with friends and having a good time, he's really quick to anger and this has led him to many fights and mistakes in the past. Too bad for him, Shaun takes offense to things really easily. Even if its constructive critism, Shaun believes that that person is just talking down on him.
Shaun also gets angry with his parents really easily, especially because they don't approve of him going off to train. However, despite his short temper, Shaun knows of the dire consequences if he shouts at his parents, and thankfully holds his tongue. Because of his patience and holding of the tongue, he was finally allowed to go on his journey with acceptance from his family. Not that it mattered, because all he would have had to do was wait a single year until he was of legal age and simply run away, but Shaun see's this as a bonus. A place to return to...maybe.
History: As said earlier, Shaun is an incredibly competitive person, and what better way to play with his strenghts than go with the most competitive thing of all? Pokemon battling is something Shaun has loved for most of his life, ever since he was young enough to understand. He would constantly watch the town trainers battle, the league champions on television, and even the occasional wild battle wild pokemon have. Shaun's own brother was a pokemon trainer, again to their parent's disapproval. His brother was an amazing battler, going all over the regions, though having never won as champion. The closest he had ever gotten was fifth in the Kanto region.
When Shaun heard the Professor was giving out pokemon, he thanked Mew that he was old enough to go on a pokemon journey and immediately signed up, hoping to start off with a strong pokemon. Shaun knows he'll train hard, but he also knows that he won't capture any weak pokemon. His team will be strong, not filled with the many Caterpie's, Pidgey's, ect. that most beginning trainer's have. His pokemon will be strong, and he will do anything to get to the top.
Moves: Scratch, Screech, Fake Out, Fury Swipes, Faint Attack, Water Pulse, Power Gem
Moves: Hypnosis, Curse, Night Shade, Sucker Punch, Ice Punch, Thunderpunch, Payback
Ability: Anger Point
Moves: Tackle, Tail Whip, Rage, Horn Attack, Scary Face, Pursuit, Rest
Appearance: Mackie is short for a guy, and despite his wishes, his growth spurt never sent him above 5'6", and he's built to weigh in at no more than 140 pounds--not skinny, he insists, but definitely less muscle than he would like, which is to his chagrin. He is active enough to have a wiry look, and combined with his usually rumpled hair and clothing can give off the impression he spends all his time outside (this is true, but it's in the fields). His hair is a wavy pale brown that gets a little blond-shot over the summer, and he keeps it a ponytail from which loose bits tend to escape when he's been working for a while.
He wears overalls and bare feet or sandals, or maybe boots if it's raining. If it's warm enough he won't bother with a shirt under the overalls, if it's colder one of a variety of plaid button-down shirts might appear, and if it's really cold, he has a couple of grandma-knitted sweaters in loud geometric patterns, along with mittens, scarf and tuque. He doesn't like coats, and prefers to layer his shirts and sweaters, though he does have a bright yellow raincoat.
Mackie has brown eyes, a narrow face and big ears that stick out from under the blue ball cap he wears to keep the sun off. His skin tans and pales with the seasons, and when its summer his shoulders, cheeks and nose wear a semi-permanent sunburn, and he gets a farmer's tan like it was drawn onto him.
Personality: Mackie seems to have an on-off switch, such that people who only know him in one mode would be surprised. When he's "on", he's in tunnel-visioned focused mode, whether it's on work OR play. He can weed a garden all morning without really noticing the time passing by, but when he's finished, he could care less about the darn garden, and could he just have some lunch and some lemonade, pleeeeeeease? When he's "off," he's mellow and relaxed, and doesn't like it when people try to ruin the mood, not that you could really tell he was irked, since a mild eyeroll is about the extent of his protest, unless something happens to jerk him out of his good mood.
Mackie is an independant spirit who appreciates good company, but he doesn't often become to attached to any leader, and once his goals or desires diverge from a group, he's content to go off on his own when it becomes possible. People who don't share Mackie's interests--pokemon, stargazing and flying--probably won't see much in him beyond a relatively easygoing (or conversely, quite obsessed) guy, because Mackie doesn't go out of his way to find out about other people. He doesn't dislike people, he's just not that interested. That said, if someone manages to extract a promise from him, he will keep it. His word is good, even if it may seem like he doesn't care that much.
History: Mackie grew up on his aunt and uncle's farm outside Solaceon, along with his two cousins, also both boys, and his "grandparents", actually his uncle's parents, and unrelated to him by blood. But his parents died in an boating accident when he was a toddler, and this family is all he's known, blood-related or not. The farm isn't a ranch, as is most common in the area, but rather a berry orchard, specializing in Rawst and Oran berries as the main crop, along with some more mundane radish, pumpkin and zucchini plots on the side.
The cost of running the farm has afforded the Keeler family a very modest lifestyle, and one thing among others that they have never had is pokemon, aside from what wild ones need to be kept out of the orchards, though bordered by ranches on either side, few wild pokemon made it close to Mackie as he grey up. Aside the Miltank herds, the only time Mackie saw pokemon was in town, where he rarely went. The itch to travel grew over time, though, despite having to stay on the farm and work to keep their income up. He started to look upward, to the sky during the day and at night. Things with wings were wonderful to him, and the stars seemed magical.
Mackie's cousin got married not so long ago, adding another body to the farm, and his aunt and uncle have told him he is free to pursue whatever he wants, finally, and he's saving up to do exactly that.
Appearance: Sara is 4 foot, 11 inches with white skin and is of a slim build. She has medium-long, auburn hair with some yellow streaks she dyed in. Her wide eyes are of a brown-green color with long eye lashes. Sara's left arm is shorter then her right by a couple inches. Her legs are also fairly slim and her feet are around a size 7. She has a scar across her neck, which was caused when she slipped on some sharp pieces of glass.
Sara wears a red tank top with some black design on it. She wears a commando style vest over the top. She also wears a light blue pair of jeans with some rips and holes in them. Sara has a pair of black combat boots and the same color socks with the top part having a white band. She has a red sweat band on her left wrist with a pokeball symbol on it and a skull hair clip to keep her bangs out of her eyes. She also has about five thin bracelets on her right wrist with varying shades of green.
Personality: Sara has a very rebellious nature. She has never liked following 'the man' and usually does things her own way. This, of course, gets her into quiet a bit of trouble. Indeed, she is no stranger to the police. Sara is also quite loud and likes to voice her own opinions no matter what others may feel about it. Also, she has problems paying attention to anything due to her ADHD. This can led her to suddenly change the conversation or to ignore someone who was talking to her. She doesn't mean to do any of these things and tries to pay attention, but she isn't very good at it.
But, despite all of this, Sara has a great love for Pokemon. In fact, the only times she seems to behave is when there is a Pokemon involved. Though, over all, she is a decent person and will help others if she feels they truely need it. This isn't very often for she has a great distrust of most people in general. Sara believes that most people are out to get her and that it would be better if she didn't trust anyone. Though, as mentioned before, she will open up completely to a Pokemon, even if it doesn't really understands her.
History: Sara was born in Pallet Town. However, her parents were excited about this new land called Sinnoh and immigrated to the new region before Sara was even one year old. They settled in Eterna City and it was there that Sara grew up.
Though early on in her life, it was discovered that she had ADHD. This made learning very difficult especially since she refused to take her pills. She got frusterated as she saw how easily the other kids got it, but she didn't. Naturally, Sara was held back in school and just learning the same thing again only made her more frusterated. Her parents tried putting her in a different school that was made with kids like her in mind, but it didn't work out.
Eventually, problems started to happen outside of the school, landing her in trouble with the cops. Sometimes she was even put in the jail for a day or two. However, it was during one of these trips that a Growlith entered her cell. When her parents came to get her out, they saw how well she was acting with the Growlith and even how she paid attention to everything more. It was then that her parents thought that it might be best if they were to send Sara on her own Pokemon Journey, so that maybe she would learn many things on her own. They were even happier to learn that Sinnoh itself was making it's own league.
Sara, of course, agreed with the arrangment and was soon sent to Sandgem Town to get her very own Pokemon.
Appearance: Young as he is, Ethan's body is still growing, but that doesn't stop his height of 5'5" from bothering him any less. He's got long, lanky limbs, as many boys his age do, with a little muscle tone, though he could stand to build more. In simple terms, he's a chicken legs. As a result he prefers to wear jeans at all times, long and baggy, held up by a simple black belt. The exact color of them does not matter. One day he may wear black jeans, the next dark denim, and the next light denim. There's no pattern to it, he just grabs the first thing available out of his closet.
As far as shirts go, he's not particular. He does have his favorites, such as his grey shirt with an abstract art form Gyrados hissing, but most of the time he'll just wear whatever is available. His wardrobe consists of the aforementioned Gyrados shirt and a multitude of other colors, though none too bright. A pair of white sneakers with black soles and laces can be often found on his feet, as they're very comfortable and practical, and he loves them.
Ethan's dark chocolate brown hair does as it wishes. The ends curl slightly and just barely brush the nape of his neck. When the sun hits it at just the right angle, it appears to be black. His eyes are a light grey color and full of pride, for he is a very prideful young man.
Personality: Ethan has issues with arrogance. He believes he has the power to excel at anything he does, and while that sounds good in theory it causes plenty of problems. Often he misjudges his capabilities and lands himself in a difficult situation because of this. Having been slightly spoiled growing up, he thinks he deserves the best of everything, including the best Pokemon team. It may be an issue for him to learn to respect them as living creatures, not just monsters at his command. While he does have the capability to show affection and adoration the ability doesn't often shine past his callous and potentially obnoxious exterior.
As far as interacting with others, he has a problem with respect that can be traced back to his arrogance. Unless someone does something to earn his respect they won't be getting it, and earning it from him is not easy. As a result he isn't often well-liked, at least not to his face. He tends to push his way to the front in every conversation and debate, bulldozing his way to the center of attention. When the spotlight has been securely focused on him he settles down and becomes more like the real Ethan: quiet, calm, and passionate about the things that interest him. Among these is Pokemon battling. The strategy and glory behind it fascinates him, and he wants to explore it further. Of course, nothing but the most powerful Pokemon would be suited for him. Especially not a pathetic Caterpie.
History: Ethan grew up with his mother and father in Canalave City, where his father owned several ships. Seeing as Canalave is a hub of trade they made a fair deal of money, ascertaining that they never wanted for anything. Being an only child Ethan was spoiled beyond what he ought to have been and given anything he asked for, whether it was essential to his happiness and wellbeingwell beingThe family owned a pet Glameow - or more accurately, Ethan's mother coveted a very fat and aggressive Glameow that she insisted was a family pet. Though he never liked it, when he was young Ethan would take it out into the front yard and train it to attack trees and such. That didn't go so well, as it was too fat to move quickly, but it sparked his interest in eventually building a Pokemon team.
When he was ten Ethan's father's business went under, quite literally; a massive population increase of Wailmer caused the sea to become saturated with the spherical fish Pokemon. One by one they sank the Sarvais' ships, along with their evolution, Wailord. With nothing left for them in Canalave they moved to Sandgem. Ethan neither liked nor disliked the move; he never really got along with kids in Canalave. In Sandgem it was much easier to manipulate the more sheltered children into thinking he was a cool rich kid and they should like him because of that. He matured slightly as he grew older, but not by much. He at least learned to be kinder to his peers, to manipulate people less, and to appreciate what he had slightly more. No matter the change, however, he was still a spoiled rich brat at heart. So when the distribution of Pokemon was announced he had to be one of the first to sign up. With his spot securely taken, all he had to do was wait to be introduced to the partner that would be with him, so he hoped, for the rest of his life.
Appearance: Jesús, or Chuy as his parents call him out of love, is an average island kid. He is rather short, standing at about 4’8”, and is extremely skinny because of serious malnutrition problems that most kids in Pacifidlog have to go through. His skin is pretty dark, but is in the process of paling down in the colder climate of Sinnoh, which makes it really ashy. His eyes are big and of a dark brown color. His hair is black and is short, unkempt, and slightly curly at the ends with a lot of split ends. He has various scars on his legs because of falling, cutting himself, and getting poisoned with Tentacool stingers (as a joke).
Chuy usually dresses very heavily in Sinnoh because of the significant temperature drop as compared to Hoenn. He dresses in many layers, starting with boxers, shorts, long socks, and thick pants, as well as thick boots that are both good for keeping water out of his feet, as well as protecting his feet from spiky rocks and the such while hiking. On his torso he wears an undershirt, underarmour, and a long sleeved shirt, as well as gloves, a goose feather jacket, a beanie and a scarf when it is exceptionally cold.
Personality: Throughout his childhood in Pacifidlog Town, Chuy was always known for being the leader of a particular gang of kids who were always up to mischief. They often got in trouble for stealing fish, poking other people with Tentacool stingers that they extracted from the Pokémon itself (the cure in the small town was extremely common, but still…), pulling pranks on the older people and for being particularly interested in the trade of pornographic magazines, and panty pictures.
Thus, he became very infamous for his mischief in town. He was also known for being cunning and to a certain extent… evil. But that has now mostly changed. Chuy has seen many things in his short lifespan, and intent on helping his parents is becoming into an incredibly hardworking kid, interested in making money more than in having fun. He has become serious, respectful, and money-oriented, but he is still very cunning, and this, as well as his ambitions make him extremely dangerous.
History: Chuy is originally from Pacifidlog Town in Hoenn, a town famous for having been constructed over a colony of Corsola, but at the same time, so small and remote, that tourism is and has always been incredibly low, and where making a good living is as easy as being the Indigo Plateau Champion for three years straight… not easy at all.
It was because of this, along with various financial problems, that Chuy’s dad decided to take the open door he found, and move along with his son and wife to the new region of Sinnoh, where he sought to find a better life for his family. Immediately after arriving in Sinnoh, the family moved to Oreburgh City, where his dad started working at the mines, while his mom opened a Laundromat along with other immigrant women in the city. Chuy, on the other hand, became an errand boy.
Yes, Sinnoh was booming with opportunities for people of all backgrounds and ethnicities, and when the Professors moved in to give out Pokémon to children for journeys, it didn’t take long for Chuy’s mom to hear from all the gossip that ensued. Excited, she was quick to tell her son about it, and although his dad was less enthusiastic about the idea, he eventually gave in to his wife’s request. After all, he had better things to do, he heard that just a week before a man had found a BIG Nugget in the mines, sold it, retired, and become rich… just like that.
Chuy is truly more interested about making money for his family, and following his dad’s example, but just like his dad, there was no way to say no to his mom when she wanted something, and after all, you never know what you’ll find along the road until you go out. Thus, Chuy set off to Sandgem a week before the appointed date in order to avoid any misfortunate event.

Name: Kenneth "Kenny" Henderson
Kenneth is a dark skinned individual that has a pretty toned physique. His hair resembles a black sheep, bushy and untamed. Kenneth has green eyes and that usually gets covered by his hair when he let it get out of control. He has a pair of shades that he usually keep on his head but from time to time he wears them around his neck. Kenneth usually wears a silver necklace with a trinket that has a picture of his mom. He also wears a green watch that is water proof so he can plan things ahead of time.
Kenneth's typical outfit is a black T-shirt and an official green pokemon ranger jacket that he wears all the time. When it gets cold he wears a black long - sleeved turtle neck. He tends to stick with green sweat pants that match the jacket but will change into green shorts when it is hot enough. He wears black shoes that have green patches around the toes and green shoes laces. He carries a solid black backpack where he keeps the important stuff he needs.
Kenneth is a timid person who can be persuaded easily. He is also an organized person who prepares for things ahead of time. He brings the things necessary for him to complete his tasks. He only gets confident in the midst of a battle when strategies and focus comes into play. Kenneth tries to be respectful whenever he can and tries to please others before himself. Kenneth is a trustworthy person that will complete a task when received and rarely complains since he tries to please them.
His timid nature comes from him not really having friends when he went to the pokemon academy. People usually only talked to him when they wanted him to do something for them. He never really tried to stand up for himself. Kenneth is trying to change but he seems to fail at it constantly and hopes that this journey helps him change. Kenneth could find a pokemon and befriend it quickly but never owned one. Kenneth really put a lot of trust into pokemon and know they will not try to hurt him like the kids in school did.
When Kenneth's family first came to sinnoh he had both parents and he was very young but loved that his mom will go across the region and do research and she would bring gifts from her expeditions home all the time. One day his dad came to Kenneth that his mom was in an accident at one of her digging sight and may not come home. Kenneth heart fell down to his stomach and he did not want to believe she was gone. He kept hope that she is safe but just not found by humans. Kenneth would go outside and sit by the beach in Sandgem Town and pray to one day be reunited with his mom.
Kenneth began to distance himself for other people emotionally since his mom's accident but still tried to please them. He would run home after classes at the academy were over and do his work quickly so he can be free for the rest of the day. One day after class he took off running and tripped. The other student just laughed at Kenneth and he felt horrible that no one came to see if he was alright. Then a Bidoof walked up to Kenneth started to rub up against his arm to cheer Kenneth up. Bidoof walked with Kenneth until he reached the end of the forest and then it turned around and headed back into the forest. That day helped Kenneth realize that pokemon are very caring creature and started his trust in pokemon.
Kenneth want a way to become stronger and still get to play with pokemon. He would walk through town and in the forest trying to help pokemon and other people when he could. One day he came across a flyer that there was going to be a pokemon league in Sinnoh and it was looking for trainers. Kenneth decided he was going to take part in the first Sinnoh Pokemon League. Kenneth rushed home and began to prepare for the big day.
Moves: Thundershock, Present, Thunder Wave, Sweet Kiss, Double Team, Slam, Signal Beam
Poor Caterpie, all she wants is love. I'm trying to figure out how to make him respect her a little more and stay in character, because honestly Caterpie is one of my favorites. I've always wanted a lvl 100 shiny Caterpie. I'd give a Deoxys for it.
Just the sweetest little thing. I've always imagined them as being highly affectionate and loyal, due to its first appearance in the anime, where Ash's fixated on Misty despite her protests. I've never been a big fan of the anime, nor anime in general, but I did see that one, which helped form my mental picture.
I'm thinking something happens to kind of open Ethan's eyes, but maybe only towards her. I don't want him to become too compassionate too quickly. That'd ruin his entire character. Maybe he'll get attacked, and she'll save him.
Of course. I thought long and hard about Ethan before even beginning to write his SU. He's complex, and it'll take quite a bit for him to become more than the detestable, self-centered brat he is.
On that note, I'm rather proud of his dream. I almost excluded it, but I'm glad I didn't. Blonde professors and a giant Ethan-eating Lugia? They should make a movie out of that.
EDIT: When it comes to finding a Pokemon in the wild, are we allowed to decide what it is, or do we leave it off where we know we found something, and you tell us what it is?
Really, I'll be fine with either, though I must say I'm hungering for a Rattata, because they're awesome, and Starly, because I am actually completely unfamiliar with Gen IV. Raising a strange Pokemon, even in RP, would be cool.
Haha, every boy's dream right? The blonde professor part htat is xD
You decide which Pokemon is and battle it and whatnot, I decide if you catch it, what the level is, what the ability is and the gender. Gender will be decided by the general feel, so if you make the creature very feminine it will be a girl xD
but yeah, basically you write about the encounter, the battle and the swaying pokeball and I decide the details of said Poke.
Also, if anyone has problems with the colours I used on the fonts, please tell me and I'll revert them back to black.
You can encounter more Pokemon, yes. But you can only catch one. Also, you can't battle more than one Pokemon in a capture post, which is the one your capturing, as you can't earn experience in a catch post. So basically you can look and interact with more than one, but no battles or obtaining any others than the one you are focusing on.
If you're not doing a capture post, you can encounter and battle more than one, though realistically. Don't let you lv. 6 Caterpie take on 5 Shinx' in one post without healing, it's irrational.
Perfectly, thank you. I know for certain which I'm going to catch right now, then. I've also got an idea for a relationship development between Caterpie and Ethan, though it'll take several posts and be quite gradual.
i will, i'll probably have the first one up today (hopefully) since my math midterm is today, and i haven't been able to write it at all
then i'll have the second one up in the weekend (probably sunday)
I'm most certainly going for a second post, it's in the making right now. In it we discover the difference between ignorance and true dislike. Because really, people. Caterpie evolves into Butterfree. Butterfree learns Sunny Day, Solar Beam, Giga Drain, and Psychic. Do better than that.
EDIT: Made my post. It made me sad to write. Poor little Caterpie. It's driving me crazy calling her an it, I usually apply gender. But I figure since Ethan doesn't know it's a girl I can't either.
