There's no such rule, it's just that Ruby hacks are less common these days. Also, Hack of the Month is for progressing hacks, which is why hacks that aren't playable also get to win.

Yes, but with both games' engines being very similar, it only makes sense that the rom with the updated engine would be better.

Voted for Unbound, been following it for a long time.

Voted for Unbound (Definitely was a tough choice). The tiles are amazing tho Axiom looks great with that world map too!

Hack of the month or similar titles are 'awards'. In other other,they're something that is and should be given as a reward for an accomplishment,not as encouragement.While Axiom shows promise in many aspects,especially in its originality and the freedom its game play provides,there still has been no release yet so even if i had thought it best,I still wouldn't find it appropriate to vote for it.As for Orange,its graphics are certainly nostalgic.As regrettable as it is that not all 3 games can't get the award,I can only vote for 1. Be it graphics,game play,story line,extra features or choice of pokemon,I can say without doubt that Pokemon Unbound comes out on top as far as I'm concerned.

Voted for Unbound. That game is just great all around. It has great features, graphics, and I love the story line so far!
