IMPORTANT: Seeking Volunteers - Fan Games Team (CLOSED)

What is the position, and what are the responsibilities?
You will double up as part of our dedicated Fan Games Team as a Game Development specialist, as well as being a PokéCommunity moderator. A PokéCommunity moderator is responsible for not only keeping the forum clean and organized but also, just as importantly, discussing ways to grow and promote their designated forum. As a moderator you will have moderation abilities over all forums but be primarily responsible for the forum you are assigned to.

While your main role will be a moderator of Game Development and its child forums, we are also seeking moderators who will be engaged in not only their designated forum but also those who are motivated to discuss ways to improve the community overall. In an age where forums are not as frequently used as a hub for discussion, drive, innovation, and modernization are especially important. If promoted you will receive access to our staff forums where you can communicate with the rest of the team on how to push PC to new heights.

What are we looking for?
The staff are looking for a staff member with experience in Game Development but also someone who understands the main concepts of creating a game from scratch or with Pokémon Essentials.

1) Do you have experience in Game Development? What Projects have you worked on?

2) Part of your responsibility will be to check threads submitted to the forum by members that are awaiting moderator approval, are you familiar enough with the rules to appropriately approve and unapprove these threads?

3) Do you have any suggestions or ideas on how the Game Development forum can be improved? Are there any changes you would recommend to its pinned threads or layout organization?

4) How long have you been a member of PC? If promoted, how much time do you feel you can dedicate to your role?

5) (Optional) Feel free to include anything else you feel would be relevant to this application.

When will applications close? How many members are you looking to promote?
We will close applications when we feel we have found the right candidate(s). This can be as little as a week or as long as a month. We will close and edit this thread once suitable candidates have been found. The amount of new staff we promote will depend on the applications we receive.
