Well I decided that I'm out for sure. If you want to use Victor still, SV, that's okay with me. I had a lot of fun RPing with you guys over the last couple years, but eventually all things have to end. You can consider me out of the One Piece RP as well, SV. Maybe I'll decide to come back when college comes back and I have a place with much better internet, but I really can't say for certain. Have fun, everyone! I'll miss you!

Alright Necrum. Thanks for letting me know. Good luck with everything, and we hope to see you down the road!

So we've had a few dropouts lately so I'll re-open SUs for someone if they want to apply. (:

Sound good DeathofShadows! Shoot me a PM or VM if you need any help.

    The Story so Far:

Pokemon from all across Valkaria (and some from beyond it) arrive to the thirtieth anniversary celebrating the end of the Silver War. Many Pokemon, especially some Gold Tribe and Seekers, are skeptical about the party, which was organized by General Grett. The grandiose design and festival which the ceremony has become, was thought by many to be unnecessary, too festive and less honoring, and just downright pointless. Though many respect the sacrifices of the Silver War, there are also some believe that Darkrai never actually appeared in the closing stages of the war, and that the war was conducted by former members of the Gold Tribe in the form of the Silver Tribe. This group, or movement, is called the Valkarian Exposure and is led by a former Commander Hypno known as Thomas Blake.

The party progressed on, with many old acquaintances meeting back up and some new ones meeting for the first time. Notable dignitaries included the Thieves with their King Snype, the Seekers and their leader Penance, SEC employees and their founder Hanso, the Gold Tribe and their leader Guardia, as well as many more surprising and some new faces. As the ceremony for the fallen was conducted, however, Thomas Blake got into an argument with another General, Riken, about the nature of the Silver War's end. Soon after, Grett revealed a surprising bit of information, his involvement with Darkrai, which promptly led to his appearance along the outskirts of Gold City soon after, along with an army. Grett was soon dispatched, and everyone got to work. The defense of Gold City had begun, with the Gold Tribe and other defenders clamoring over to the wall of the city, while others heading to the SEC Network points (there being three) to try and evacuate all the non-combating citizens to other cities.

Unknown to the defenders originally, a Greninja believed to be working, perhaps voluntarily, with Darkrai, has begun destroying the Network points. He has successfully destroyed Network point two with a Hyper Beam Cannon, and proceeded to Network point three. A fire had mysteriously begun around Network point three. The Greninja was discovered by Snype, Paradox (Penance), and other defenders of the Alpha Alliance. The Hyper Beam Cannon was fired, but the network point was thankfully not destroyed, and in the process of being moved (as it is somewhat portable by SEC employees). Though in apparent captivity, the Darkrai agent known as Gabriel, or Gabe, hinted at possible other infiltrators into the city. At the same time at Network point one, an Ursaring revealed himself and began causing mayhem around there as well, apparently with the goal to destroy the Network point there.

Meanwhile at the wall, the defense of the city began. Darkrai's army was vast and wide, but with the Gold Tribe, the Alpha Alliance, Hyper Beam Cannons and a small, evil Ralts, the walls were being held off. Stampedes and other Pokemon charged for the gates, but were held off. An enormous Wailord began to be carried by the Pokemon of Darkrai. It seemed to support a lot of weight on it, despite the Wailord's notoriety for being quite light. Even with some armor plating around it, it didn't appear to make much sense yet. However, with a bit of a psychic disturbance from Razathiel, the Wailord was initially tipped over and caused destructive damage to the armies of Darkrai. The Pokemon of Darkrai quickly recovered the Wailord, put psychic barriers around to prevent additional mishaps, and proceeded again forward to the wall. The Gold Tribe and General Warren headed over the gate to take on a few enemies close range, and the defense of Gold City continued.
    __________________

At the wall, the giant wailord that was being carried by the Darkrai forces was actually filled with Electrode. The 'mon at the wall managed to damage and partially destroy the wailord before it reached the wall, but it still ended up unleashing most of them closeby the wall and blowing up half of the main gate and taking down a good portion of the mon there. General Riken found Guardia there among the survivors and basically relayed the plan to her to do that mission she was planning tomorrow (check OOC) now instead, so she basically asked her to gather everyone she wanted to bring and take them to Network Point 3. They're all heading there now. At Network Point One, there were a group of Pokemon who were trying to destroy the Network there, an Ursaring, Machamp, and Ariados. They were tough opponents, particularly the Ursaring, but all were eventually taken out. Alex and Obsidian took out the Machamp with a sleeping dart, while Charlie took out the Ariados. A joint effort by Scar, Gaia (Naku NPC), Desmond (Naku NPC) and Atrox was used to take out the Ursaring. Gabriel arrived there too, and ended up destroying Network Point one in a concealed explosion at the same time as the explosion on the wall. So only Network Point 3 is left. In the end, Scar stayed behind to fight off Gabriel, while the rest continued on to Network Point 3.

From there, Riken and Guardia explained to the gathered about their mission, and of how they had to leave Gold City now to accomplish it. Fighting off the armies would only prolong the inevitable. The only way to win was to do what was originally intended: Find Cresselia. Along with that, they would get any help they could from the other countries in terms of fighting Darkrai's armies.

The group were teleported by the Network to Fort Ferrol, which was a relatively small outpost just north of Valkaria in an area known as the Valkaria Protectorate. It wasn't a country per say, as within it was only a collection of a few separate villages. Ferrol was half abandoned when they got there, including most of the Gold Tribe which was stationed there because they went off to help Gold City. However, there remained a couple of Gold Tribe members: 'Wraith' the Dusknoir, 'Whirlwind' the Fearow, and 'Reign' the Seaking. Along with them, there was a Seeker and SEC base, as well as a few dozen villagers who still occupied the village/fort.

The group spent the rest of the day resting, eating, and getting to know each other. Snype and Kaveri went on their second date, the first being in Gold City just before the attack. Guardia discovered Charlie, a traitor of the Gold Tribe and current member of the thieves, and confronted him. The brothers Joshua and Charlie met up, with the conversation going quite sour. Thomas, Sylvio, Cal, Raz, and Anna all met up and talked within the inn in town. The following day, the group gathered together to decide where they would begin their journey. After some debate, they ultimately decided on beginning in Tollen. From there, the group dispersed once more, everyone doing their own thing. At this point, Guardia once more confronted Charlie, with the two butting heads, but didn't resort to fighting. Guardia also spoke to Snype, frustrated that he had been hiding so much information from her about the extent of his organization. A similar conversation took place with Penance. Joshua and Cal also shared their reservations about trusting some of the non-Gold Tribe members of the group. The following day, they met again to discuss how they would get into Tollen, and what they would be doing once they got there.

Sorry about the delay! School and writer's block aren't all that conducive for writing an SU.

      Name: Alexis

      Age: 18

      Gender: Male

      Species: Gardevoir

      Faction: Seekers

      Appearance:
      Spoiler:

Generally speaking, Alexis looks, sounds, and often even acts like a female. In fact, most encounters he is mistaken as such. No one knows why this may be, though it could be conjectured that it is but a subconscious self-defense measure, protecting him from the traumas he has experienced.

He is 5'7", an average height for a Gardevoir, and as most of his species are quite skinny. He is almost always smiling around people he knows, and despite his dark past never seems to be affected in any bad way. Most times, Alexis prefers to float with his psychic powers as opposed to walking, though when he does, it is with a formal, almost aristocratic air.

Personality: Initially, people may explain Alexis as rude, self-centered, perhaps even ignorant. While it is true that the hard working Gardevoir has a cold side, one that rears its head more than he may intend, he remains kind, understanding, and protective towards those he trusts. He is not secretive as to whom this is, either. If you have gained Alexis's favor, it will be quite apparent. He honors the goals of the Seekers daily, and many a night stress may consume him due to his lack of progress. When faced with difficulty, though, he faces it head on, and backing down is an option that one can rarely talk him into accepting. He is a master of quick thinking, using his broad mind to quickly analyze weaknesses of an enemy, and a strategist by training. When the time comes for indirect combat, he uses his psychic abilities to confuse and misdirect opponents, going in for the kill after sowing strife within the ranks of the enemy.

As for lifelong goals, Alexis intends to die fighting. This does not mean that he is the type to want to die in battle, though. Even if he lives to see the end of this conflict, and settles down for once in his life, Alexis intends to always be a warrior at heart. Perhaps some day he may find a soulmate, something he doubts entirely, and it is not a goal she finds worthy of pursuing currently. He sees it as his destiny to at least be in the party that discovers Cresselia, though at times he is ambitious enough to claim that he will be the one and only.

As far as his lifestyle, Alexis is what some may call the model citizen. He dislikes large crowds, and rarely speaks in front of a number of strangers. He despises war, and has only joined the fight because of that, and still has vivid memories of what the previous one did to what had been a peaceful life. He does, however, really like to explore, and discovering new things is quite exciting for him. Perhaps that is what gave him the initiative to join the Seekers, as opposed to "hiding behind walls, hoping for someone else to fix his problems," as he says.

History: As a young one, Alexis led a rather normal life. His father, a heroic Gallade, had always been prone to fits of rage, though he was mostly able to control who it was directed at. His mother, he had no memory of. According to his father, she had run off soon after birthing him. His adopted mother though, a Lucario by the name of Megan, filled the gap quite well. Overall, it was a happy enough life.

      Then, the nightmares began.

The first occurred on the new moon of the year of his fifteenth birthday, the year that he officially came of age. His few attempts to explain what had happened to his mother were usually seen as just a dream, and that was the end of it. Alexis, however, had an inkling of what was actually happening.

Over the next two and a half years, the nightmares became more frequent. He had stopped trying to explain them a while ago. They had gotten more intense as time went on, as well. They had even begun changing him, and the changes were not looking good.

It was at this time that he turned to the Seekers. He had heard that they were masters of cleansing inner darkness, and it seemed like his only avenue of escape.

Almost three years had passed since that first nightmare when Alexis finally had a full, dreamless sleep. The past several months had been spent with the Seekers, honing his psychic powers both outward and in. He was finally free of Darkrai's influence!

Then, the Dark One's forces attacked the Capital. In the rush, he had been separated from his mentor, and found himself far from home. He now plans on regrouping with the local group of Pokemon that had been teleported with to the far off outpost.

Moveset: Psychic, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Shadow Ball, Teleport, Protect

RP Sample: [from Dragon Cave's Shadows]

Dark. A slight breeze. His favorite weather.

Kalek stood atop a building, looking down at the extensive city of Rome. His target was already fast asleep. In fact, most of the city was so. No crowds, or loud vendors. Kalek smiled to himself, and began silently running accross the rooftops.

He soon arived at a pricey manor, and was pleased to see only the slaves quarters active and light. He stole between shadows, climbing with ease. He stopped at a balcony. A balcony that led to the bedroom. A balcony that concealed his target.

Kalek crept into the dark room, silent as a gust of wind. His long, wavy cloak broke up his form, dissolving his muscular physique into the shadows. Kalek drew his dagger, a beautiful work, and walked silently up to the large, four poster bed. The blade flashed, and another fell beneath what some had begun to call the Black Crow.

Kalek sheathed the dagger, and muttered something in French. He placed his cerimonial feather in the now deceased noble's hair, and was gone within a few seconds, running along rooftops once again.

      Kalek finished his running at a run-down, nearly deserted building. He climbed to the attic, and dropped among his belongings, as few as they were. He drew a piece of parchment and a raven feather quill from a box, and sat at a makeshift desk. He then began writing, his elegant script flowing accross the page. He read it to himself after he finished. It read;

'Le général à la retraite a été assassiné, selon les commandes. J'attends ma prochaine affectation.'
[The retired general has been assassinated, as per orders. I await my next assignment.]
      -Kalek Noire

Kalek nodded to himself, and opened the cage atop his desk. He tied the note to the pigeon inside, and sent it flying off. In less than an hour, it would arrive at the Brotherhood's barracks, where the letter would be delivered directly to one of the masters.

Hello everyone. Not an official summary, but here is the information that has been passed on between the thief team and forest team!

To the Diplomatic Team: Two thieves, Charlie and Obsidian, decided to gather some information by infiltrating the palace of the Queen. Along the way, they heard something about a 'mon named Popous, who it was later found out didn't make it into the Royal Knights despite many thinking he should have because he was very skilled. Obsidian and Charlie also ran into a Herdier who was of nobility, whose House had the insignia of an Emerald Dragalge. The Herdier sniffed around when Obsidian and Charlie were close, but didn't comment on the thieves presence if he knew they were there. Charlie and Obsidian discovered a book, which detailed the line of succession of the General of the Standing Army. Apparently, the General has recently been replaced in the last year, from General Isabella to General Marcus Tyren.

Other thieves have been hearing continuous things about someone or something known as the Savior. From what they could gather, something has happened here in the last year which caused a lot of devastation of some sort, and many mon allude that the savior was the one to stop it, or save them from it. It is claimed that the mon was born in the Oddish Trail, a relatively poor and small part of the slums of Tollen.

The thieves also are planning a heist with a group they got in contact with after Snype saved a slum mon from a Royal Guard. The group mentioned something about another group known as the Brotherhood, but not much is known about it at present.

To the thief team: The Diplomatic team has made contact with Lord Marrow of House Ellia. He was fairly hostile to the group mostly because of their ties to the Gold Tribe, but also because of the fact that they were foreigners. Marrow alluded to the fact that all foreigners were generally forbidden inside Tollen, and there could be consequences for bringing them in. The Diplomatic team also discovered other names, including Lord Arron of House Durania, who was briefly mentioned. The diplo team convinced Marrow to give the guys a chance to explain themselves, and so Marrow went over to appeal to the other nobility to grant an audience before all of the dignitaries and nobility of Tollen, where they might be able to present their case for aid.

Also, the diplo team discovered that a portion of the network psychics have been taken hostage somewhere. Maybe something the thieves could investigate sometime.

I'll make an official summary later in the week.

So... Anyone know what's going on with the forest group? Should I hop into the post, or do I wait until after it had been posted to join?

Oh Death, you'll show up in the forest post soon enough. We're just at the point where we'll find your character and we can hook you up either in that post, or the one following it.

Yes, that's right! Just as Greiger said, we'll be finishing up the large jp very soon and mention finding your unconscious character at the end. That's when you come in! We can either continue interacting with your character either by joint post or by single posts from there!

It would seem a joint post would be where this RP's strengths lie, but I'm open for either.

We'll probably go with a joint post then! I'm going to send you the link for it through PM, and if you'd like to get us started, go for it! We will have our characters approaching yours so you can wake up and do what you want xD

              The Story so far...

They agreed to split up into three separate teams and proceed into Tollen that way. The thief team as it has been called, decided to go in through the last Network Point in Tollen. They snuck their way in with some help from SEC devices. The Diplomatic team tried the same way, but through the legal channels of the nobility in Tollen. The third team, the forest team, would head by way of the furthest Network Point in Beatruce and enter Tollen through the forest.

Thieves: Two thieves, Charlie and Obsidian, decided to gather some information by infiltrating the palace of the Queen.

Other claims made him out to be from other parts of Tollen. The savior was clearly a prominent figure of some sort, having stopped the devastation known only as the Reckoning.

The thieves also planned a heist with a group they got in contact with after Snype saved a slum mon from a Royal Guard. The group mentioned something about another group known as the Brotherhood, but not much is known about it at present. On the day of the heist, Snype spoke with a citizen in Tollen named Popous, who somewhat upset about not getting into the Royal Knights, and thus was honorably discharged from the standing army. He passed on a bit of information that the Savior was a Greninja. The heist came, with the thief team meeting up with Roran (the initial 'mon who brought them the heist), as well as Joseph, Stretch, and a Bisharp named Creed. The group agreed to hit the shipping caravan as it traveled within the city, as it was found out that the most skilled Royal Knights guarded the entrances and exit to the city, where the supplies were bound. Jeice, another member of the heist, informed the group that there would be two standing army soldiers, and two royal knights guarding the caravan. The shipping job went off without much of a hitch. Except at the end of it, instead of leaving the knocked out royal knights, Creed suddenly killed the two Royal Knights.

The thief team took offense, but it was soon discovered that he was with the Brotherhood, and the shipping job was an initiation of sort to get the group to meet with them. He also mentioned that killing them would derail suspicion of another group with the Diplomatic team inside the capital. It was also found out that the Brotherhood stopped a Royal Knight from passing information on to the higher ups in the palace about them having SEC supplies, and therefore could be foreigners here. The Brotherhood asked to meet with the thief team that night.

The thieves returned to their hideout in a spa, where they met with a Seeker, who was one of the standing army soldiers posted with the caravan. There, he gave a good painting of the full story. A plague began in the capital, which killed the King and caused a lot of devastation. The borders were closed and all foreigners were dispelled to try and contain this Reckoning. It also seemed that a portion of the citizens, mostly nobility and those around the palace, seemed immune to the plague, which greatly angered the suffering poor and middle class. Finally, a Royal Knight came forward by the name of Gabriel and began to cure this plague. He became extremely popular among the people of Tollen, and so the Queen gave him a position of influence. The nobility were more hesitant to accept him given his roots, but agreed because they knew the people would protest if they did.

The Diplomatic Team: The Diplomatic team has made contact with Lord Marrow of House Ellia.

Lord Marrow returned around the same time that the two thieves were partially discovered in the palace. He was angry about the situation, asking if they had anything to do with it. The Diplomatic team assured them that they didn't, and Marrow informed them that the audience was set up.

The following day, the Diplomatic Team was presented to the audience, where the nobles of Argime gathered. Among the seated once who presided over the others were Lord Marrow, Lord Arron of House Durania, Lord Caellen of House Jenoscent, who was the son of the true head of the House (who was away because he was apparently ill), Deputy Commander Elewyn of the Royal Knights, and General Marcus Tyren of the Standing Army. Later, the savior everyone was referring to, and the Royal Commander of the Knights entered, who turned out to be the same Greninja Gabriel from Valkaria. In a slight state of worry, Thomas urged the diplomatic team not to mention Cresselia, so they approached the meeting from a call to aid for troops approach. The meeting surprisingly divided the nobles and military officials, with Lord Marrow and General Tyren supporting to toss them out, and Elewyn, Caellen, Arron and surprisingly Gabriel voting to hear them out more individually.

The Forest Team: The Forest Team left before the other groups, on the evening prior. They transported to Beatruce, where they were directed onto the backs of water Pokemon, and traveled across the river into Tollen. Upon reaching the shores the following morning, they found the outpost there largely abandoned. They did see tracks going in multiple directions, and when the 'mon tried to sense out the place to see where the most activity was coming from, they found out that going north had a lot of death. The group therefore proceeded north, where they walked through the jungle for hours. They noticed the area was quite foggy, but discovered this was a combination of smoke and mist. They reached a body, one of the hellguards of Tollen, and then came upon a group of Hellguards, the last of a scouting team of over 80, now just half a dozen. The scouting team, led by Lieutenant Trace, was returning back to Fort Trantrea to reconnect with the remaining forces in the area. They talked about how they were attacked from all sides in the jungles, from three different forces no less. The Morrians, a group of wild tribe-like 'mon with painted faces, were the biggest trouble in the Northern area. They also said if they wanted more information, they should speak to Commander Darrell in Fort Trantrea.

A few hours later, they arrived at the fort. When the forest team arrived with the hellguards at Fort Trantrea, they found it under attack by a Morrian scouting party. With the help of the forest team, they managed to push back the Morrians, and the forest group met with the Commander. There, he relayed what he knew. He explained that he has not received any skilled Hellguard reinforcements from the capital in months, and recently, he hasn't even had any of the bad kind. There was no news from the capital. From a few Seekers Penance found, it was also discovered that any remaining Seekers in the country were drafted into the Hellguards from the standing army and sent to the warzone.

After some time, the place received a message froma nearby village, which said that there was a Tollenian noble from Argime there. However, at the same time, Fort Trantrea began to be under attack. The forest group was left to decide whether to pursue the noble or help the troops in Trantrea, and they decided to remain and fight. The battle lasted the entire night and into the morning, with the Morrians not retreating until the last 'mon standing. However, the Hellguards won with the forest team's help. As they rest and recover now, they decide on what to do next.

                I'd really like to join!

                Name: Sid Eckar
                Age: 30
                Gender: Male
                Species: Toxicroak
                Faction: Thieves

                Appearance: Normal Toxicroak.

Personality: Direct, brash, cunning, and selfish are key words to describe Sid. He cares not for the needs or notions of other non-thieves if it doesn't directly benefit himself. Sid has a simple way of labeling others based on his first impressions(which are very hard to change); friend, ally, target, and enemy. If you are not within his good graces, then you are either someone or something he can take advantage of or an annoying obstacle to be ignored or dealt with. It's this way of thinking that lead others to despise or be weary of Sid, but he doesn't care either way.

While not hard to approach, there's always the forethought of, "What am I getting myself into?" when doing so. Due to his rather antagonistic personality and dark sense of humor, the conversation is usually contorted to being either rather awkward or unnecessarily vexing for the other contender. However, the method to the madness is him being able to extract and decipher a lot about another's character and personality by being intentionally difficult. Aside from his antics, Sid's manner of speaking reflects his impish nature. You can always expect him to joke around even in a serious setting, yet you can never expect him to sugarcoat anything or feel pity for those unimportant to him. Some of the only 'mon Sid completely trusts are childhood friends who grew up and endured the Forest along with himself and hold them close like brothers. If you manage to befriend Sid, you'll have an incredibly reliable ally. He also acknowledges the ties of the Thieves and for the most part is generally cooperative with other members of the group.

A common mistake among strangers is to underestimate Sid's determination. He'll travel to the ends of continents to obtain an item he seeks or implement whatever means necessary to realize his personal goals. Sid also acknowledges that a strategic mind and an abundance of knowledge grants power and authority. He also ensures nothing that goes on around him, especially in his home, escapes his attention. Besides his skills as a thief, being a fighting type, he prides himself on his prowess in combat and dedicates a large portion of his time honing his abilities; both as an elusive bandit and a lethal weapon.

History: While still a child, Sid was separated from his parents. While it's not unnatural for croagunk to fend for himself at a young age, Sid was not born in the forest and was fearful of his new environment. Luckily he encountered a young venepede and yanma. The two bug types seems to be venturing together, unafraid of the dense forest that surrounded them. Intrigued, Sid decided to follow them without being noticed. Eventually, Sid was discovered much to the surprise of the other two young 'mon. The venepede immediately took offense and was convinced Sid was looking for a fight and attacked the croagunk despite pleas of innocence. Much to everyone's surprise however, Sid fought back out of instinct and held his own. After all was said and done, Sid gained the respect of the two 'mon and they all agreed to stick together and watch out for one another.

Eventually years pass, the trio have grown up and of course evolved. Kelz now a Yanmega and Straug now a Scolipede. The group after a while set out to explore and have their way about the kingdom of Tollen. For a period of time they would travel together while taking jobs that required their specific skill such as spying, hired bodyguards, stealing something, etc. Eventually when it proved difficult to split money between the three of them while traveling, Sid decided go his own way for a while so they could better prosper. The change of pace in venturing by himself was admittedly refreshing though Sid does manage to cross paths with his friends again frequently via the networks.

Currently while on his own, Sid encountered a 'mon named Roran. An interesting figure, the two didn't exactly get along at first but they proved good partners when Sid began helping Roran with some jobs, the bulk of it managing to reel them in some extra coins. After a time, Roran was convinced in Sid's proficiency and skill and recommended the Toxicroak to join and assist the other thieves at their hideout. Sid found the idea of the thieves gathering at the hideout interesting, agreed, and was sent on his way.

Do you have any room for another?

                  Name: Vanessa Lawson

                  Age: 21

                  Gender: Female

                  Title: Silent Reaper

                  Species: Gabite

                  Faction: Valkarian Gold

                  Appearance:
                  Spoiler:

Vanessa has grey claws, and red eyes. She also wears a locket(Has the emblem on it) with a family portrait around her neck.

Personality: Two words that describe Vanessa completely? Silent killer. She is a very private individual, and mainly sticks to herself. She gathers information by ear, only speaking to give advice or a new piece of information to be judged. After that she is done speaking. She is highly intelligent. Her intellect being gathered mainly by her own personal studies and teaching. Well disciplined, Vanessa doesn't speak unless spoken to, even then she doesn't say much. She is however, more talkative to her close friends and comrades(even then still very little), and is loyal to them. So loyal, that she will aide them in their beliefs(if she deems them powerful enough to make them happen), even if she thinks the cause is wrong. Vanessa is very ambitious. She believes only those strong enough to make their goal happen deserves them, and will fight to the death for what she believes in.

                  History:
                  Spoiler:
Vanessa was born into this world as an only child. She was a very odd child. Studying and learning with her mother until she passed away. Her mother often taught Vanessa things most children wouldn't learn until they matured, but Vanessa studied hard to make her parents proud. Vanessa was raised around the concept that only the strong would ever survive. Her father, who was also a member of the Gold Tribe, taught her all he knew about combat. At the age of seven, Vanessa was fighting her own battles, and relying only on herself for strength.

When Vanessa turned ten, her Mother passed away, which left a large gap in her families heart. Except for Vanessa and her Father. Vanessa, even as a ten year old, did not mourn for her lost mother. She instead trained harder than ever, telling herself that her mother hadn't been strong enough, and that she would be strong for her. So she began more advanced training with her father. She wasn't very skilled at first, because she still hadn't grown enough to understand most of the concepts, but for the most part she was an excellent student according to her Father.

Vanessa was growing, and becoming stronger, but she was also maturing into the perfect fighter. Not long after her twelfth birthday did Vanessa catch her Father crying for his lost wife. Having grown to steel herself and live for her beliefs, Vanessa told her Father that her Mother was weak, and had no rights to her dreams. However, she also said that the best thing they could do for her was make sure that they were. She had become a strong child over the years, so her father began putting her in the tournaments held, saying that She had earned her place in their ranks.

At the age of fifteen, Vanessa had enrolled in school for the Gold tribe, just as her Father before her. She talked to absolutely no one, and focused only on training and learning. While enrolled, most people that knew Vanessa knew that when she wasn't in school she was training, even when she had a break. Upon graduating, her Father passed away leaving behind a congratulation note, and a locket with a portrait of her family in it. At the age of twenty-one, Vanessa had joined the Gold Tribe. By then she had earned the nickname 'Silent Reaper' for her absolute silence in battle. As she fought and became stronger, she would eventually become well known.

Luna didn't care much for his little attitude, but he furthered her suspicions after saying he was a computer designer. Then how would he have medical skills? Something wasn't right, but she would figure it out soon enough. She continued to follow him, weighing her options of what to say. There wasn't much she could say, but she'd figure it out. After hearing his words she looked at the man unconscious over his shoulder. He didn't look like much, just some kid around her age. What's a guy like him doing on the streets?

"What's so special about him, and why should I care? To me he just seems like an ordinary street-rat." She said, narrowing her eyes. "And don't dodge my questions. What's your name." It was a demand more than a question, but honestly, she didn't really care.

Carl didn't know what to say to this at first, but then he said, "What do you mean, 'what's so special about him?' He's a human being, just like you or me. By that logic, what's so important about you? But I really should stop dodging around your question. My name is Carl Turner." Carl let the man sit on the ground for a second as Carl faced the girl. "And your name is..." Carl then began to say every letter of the alphabet until he reached L. He could tell her name began with L because her faced twitched a bit, but he could only notice this twitch because of his Observancy. "So your name begins with L... La, lay, Loo, LUNA! Your name is Luna, isn't it?"

"You know me, but how? I've never seen you in my life." Now she was definitely suspicious. Knowing her name, a computer programmer with doctor skills? It was not a combination you would see everyday. She didn't like being known by name by ones she didn't know, but it seemed it couldn't be helped in this situation. Perhaps I'm paranoid, and he got lucky... But she still didn't trust this Carl, but she hadn't picked up any lies from truthism so far. "And to answer your question, I am not of importance to you just as this man has no importance to me. It's simple really, as long as I don't have importance I'm no spoken toward or to. That's how I preferred it until you interrupted my peace." She said calmly.

Carl couldn't help but smirk as he heard Luna's response. He walked over and continued to move the man. Carl could see his house, he was almost home. "I seem to interrupt everyone's peace," Carl started. "And I know your name because of a trick I learned. I say every letter in the alphabet, and when I reach the letter someone's name begins with, well, they don't know this, but their face twitches a little. It's almost impossible to notice, but, well, I guess awesomeness does describe me. But enough about me. Why are you so interested in me?"

He's not telling me something. Luna thought, but he wasn't lying, because she would have immediately felt a pull in her mind of deception, but lying is different than not telling the whole story, so her powers wouldn't activate. She knew she'd eventually be able to corner him, so all she had to do was wait. For not she wanted answers, so she would further question him until she got what she wanted.

"My interest in you is nothing you need to understand, therefore it will remain unknown." She said, rounding the answer to her own needs. "Now tell me, I doubt your 'awesomeness' had anything to do with your knowing my name, and I dislike not being told the full truth." She said bluntly. She had no time for idle chat, but something odd pulled her toward him.

Carl could see the door to his house. He pulled the unconscious man to the door while answering Luna's question. "I told you, it's just a cheap party trick I learned. And besides, what do you mean 'the whole truth'? If you want to learn more, ask more creative questions." Carl let the unconscious man sit on the sidewalk while Carl opened the door. While Carl brought the man onto his bed, Carl said, "Besides, I can't see why it's any of your business. " Carl stuck the thing of juice into the fridge, and pulled out a thing of eggs he could scramble for his lunch. Carl looked at Luna and said, "You hungry?"

There it was, that strange pull. Somewhere, he had just lied. And her gut told her it was the party trick. As if I'd be that ignorant. Dishonesty, such a distasteful word. Now she was mad, but she tried o keep the look of her face. "You lie. It isn't a party trick. It's something more.. complicated, isn't it." It was a statement, not a question. She tried to hold back a sneer of pure disgust. "To look one in the face and lie, I hate those kind of people. Either you tell me the truth or tell me to leave. Either way I'll need to confirm something for myself."

Carl sighed. "Look, everyone lies for one reason or another. Either to deliberately make someone miserable or to save one's skin. And I follow the ladder." Carl frowned. "Just leave. And don't tell anyone about me. People already think I'm an Outcast, so don't go out and confirm this." Carl walked over and pulled a magazine out of the unconscious man's pocket. Carl flipped to page 12. There it was. The page that marked his doom. Carl walked over and shoved the magazine towards Luna. "And get rid of that wretched magazine for me," Carl said as he walked over to watch the news.

"I guess I'll keep this to myself. Don't think I'm with or for the S.O.T. I wish for there downfall, but that should give you the hint. I don't think it's a party trick, but if you choose to live in fear the decision is yours." She said, taking the magazine and heading out.

Hey folks. Partly due to Roach dropping and partly because she's useful for things otherwise, I am going to, with all hope, be bringing in a second character. To help with the character, here's a bit of writing I did a while ago, adapted for Odyssey of course.

                      Faction: The Pack

"The Pack", as it is commonly known is an indigenous and nomadic tribe, consisting only of canine pokémon - they are known to natively move in the northern and western areas of the unclaimed lands.

Not much is known about them - the main things that would be brought up if they were a subject of discussion is that they are aggressive towards foreigners and outsiders - most attempts to approach the Pack are met with violence, which gels badly with their tendency to place their camps in places that encroach on some nations' lands.

Many seem to dye their fur with symbols or wear various primitive accessories - it would seem each is some kind of tribe emblem - it makes Pack tribesmon notable from a distance for anymon who is aware of them.

Name: Maxia Nyalla (N.B. In her culture, the tribe name is placed before the given name.)
                      Age: 19
                      Gender:
                      Species: Riolu
                      Faction: "The Pack"
Appearance: Nyalla for most intents and purposes looks like a regular old Riolu. She has a flame dyed into her fur on the left side of her face in purple. Furthermore, she always wears a bone bracelet on her right arm.
                      Personality:
Nyalla is a very different mon to others. Being in the civilised world as a member of the indigenous tribes, she feels lost, confused and amazed all at the same time. Nyalla is perfectly approachable and agreeable, but if you spend any time around her just expect her to find anything you do absolutely amazing - this whole new world she is in beguiles and confuses her, but the more she sees of it, the more there is to see, the more she wants to see of it… and with Darkrai around, she wants to see it live long enough to explore more of it.

She is not a mon well-versed in life in the world of the outsiders. Nyalla can be very naive and overly-trusting to those she meets, if she allows natural instinct to take over her better judgement, thanks to a life in which she genuinely could trust everyone she met.
                      History:
Nyalla was born into the Pack as the daughter of a heroine of her people - as well as a child with mixed tribal blood, which is rarely a useful start. Since she was young, Nyalla had often been at odds with her fellow tribesmon, owing to her more open view towards foreigners, outsiders and kinless.

Although travel beyond the camps of the Pack is generally forbidden, Nyalla has, through circumstances she does not seem to be willing to speak about, been permitted to travel to the citadels - she seeks to meet with the stone-dweller mons and prays that they are more open to contact than the bandits that plague the Pack wherever they go.

Just gonna dump this here for now~

                        Name: Silence Quickslash
                        Age: 43
                        Gender: Female
                        Species: Weavile
                        Faction: Unaffiliated Thief and Assassin

Appearance: Silence basically looks like any other Weavile, except the middle "feather" on her head is bright blue in color and fades to gold at the end. She's also covered in numerous scars, the two most noticeable ones being one that goes from her right side all the way down to her knee and the other being one that travels the length of her left arm. Besides these, though, there's also two smaller scratch marks above her left eye, a claw mark on her left side, and a bite mark on her left leg, plus a score of marks on her back. Half of her right ear is torn off and there's a blue silk cloth tied around her right wrist.

Personality: There was a time when Silence was more naive and trusting, perhaps even kind, but circumstance has since warped her personality, leading her to become the cruel Weavile she now is. She trusts no one and cares only for herself - and the son she watches from a distance. She'll do whatever she has to to get what she wants, even sacrificing the lives of those around her. Be wary of informing her of any emotional weaknesses, as she will use it against you if she finds the opportunity.

With a twisted sense of a humor and a cruel, sadistic nature to match it, Silence doesn't really make for the most pleasant company. Besides that, she stays true to her name and doesn't speak much, except to make snide comments or morbid observations. If you're still willing to have a conversation with her, be prepared for wordless stares and blunt criticism - or if she's feeling especially talkative, she'll lead you into a trap of words of confuse the heck out of you. Easily irritated, Silence is not beyond threatening nuisances with death - and then carrying out those threats.

Silence's preferred location in a crowded room - or any room for that matter - is in a dark corner where she can silently observe and absorb everything that goes on while avoiding interaction. Antisocial and independent as she is, a by-product of her distrust of others, she prefers to go it alone. She has no problem doing the dirtiest of jobs, from simple thievery to murder - and really, the dirtier the better in her opinion. She isn't beyond holding grudges, and as her vengeance usually involves plenty of violence, it is advised that you remain on her good side. Or if you can't make it to her good side, at least avoid getting on her bad side.

History: Silence's life started out happily enough - or at least, she was happy with it, even if it most definitely wasn't picture perfect. She was born to two Thieves in Eden Forest, before the Silver War and when Ralph "Roswell" Kenion was still the King of Thieves. Her parents were both Weavile as well, thieves by the name of Willema Craft and Victor Lyden. Since her parents had never been married, in those early years of her life Silence's name was the same as her mothers, making her Silence Craft. When and why did that change? We'll get to that.

Born and raised in Eden Forest, Silence was of course taught the ways of a thief. She learned how to move stealthily, how to swipe an item off of a mon without them noticing, and many other useful skills - or at least, skills that were useful for a criminal. Silence had no delusions that what she did was moral - she knew stealing was wrong. Her parents made sure she knew, so that if she ever wished to change her path, she could. But really, what was a young mon who'd known nothing but stealing their whole life meant to do? Silence didn't know, so she stayed a thief.

Silence was still young, only 11, when the Silver War began. Her fled Valkaria, frightened for his life; Silence and Willema stayed, though, a decision that would cost them greatly. When the Silver Tribe nearly wiped out the Thieves, Willema was one of those who fell, thus seeding resentment in the young Silence - resentment aimed towards both the Silver Tribe and those the Sentinels had once been a part of: the Gold Tribe. Her greater hate was for the Silver Tribe, though, while she only held an inkling of dislike for the Gold Tribe. When the Gold Tribe revealed that Darkrai had been behind the entire war, Silence's hate transferred to the dark Legendary, though this would be put to the back of her mind for a time with the events that would happen to her over the 30 years.

Even with her parents gone (her father never being seen again after he fled from the Silver War), things started to look up for Silence again after the Silver War ended. She was still young and inexperienced, both in matters of life and in those of a thief, and so another one of the Thieves who was only a few years her senior took pity on her and became a mentor of sorts to her. This "mentor" was a Gallade by the name of Charles Canster.

It was a perfectly innocent relationship to start with, but it eventually become apparent to Silence that she felt something... different towards Charles. Something more than the respect a student would feel to their teacher, something she was at first too young to understand. Eventually, though, they both began to realize the feelings they held for each other. However, it was only once Silence was 16 and had "graduated" and learned everything Charles had to teach her that they both became open with each other, moving on to working as close partners in crime rather than mentor and student.

It came as a surprise to them both when a year later they found that Silence was pregnant. It was something that shouldn't be possible from the combination of a Weavile and Gallade, and at first Charles was suspicious - however, his trust for Silence won out and they both figured it was probably because Charles had Weavile blood somewhere far back in his ancestry. Charles wanted Silence to stay hidden and safe until the child was born, but she wasn't going to have any of that. In the end, they compromised - they'd do one last job together, then Silence would stay in Eden Forest.

This last job they went on together was a bit different from their usual simple thieving. They'd been hired by a Valkarian who was actually in rather high standing to steal an item from another equally rich Valkarian who had supposedly stolen an expensive family heirloom from them. Charles and Silence had been wary of this job to start with - they didn't normally work for anyone. But, the payment offered to them was tantalizing and so they threw caution to the wind and took the job.

Things started out smoothly. They found the item and were on their way out with it when they were spotted. And, well, rich Pokemon without their hired guards wouldn't be rich mon. They both made a run for it, and while Charles was able to escape with the item, Silence was cornered by a Machoke and a Sandslash and captured. To her surprise, though, they didn't turn her in. As it would end up, her and Charles had gotten mixed up with some rather shady mon, and whatever they'd stolen, they wanted it back now and were more than willing to torture Silence in order to find out where her partner was and where he would've taken the item.

For the first few days, Silence wasn't overly worried. Sure, they could kill or turn her in to the authorities at anytime. Sure, it was hell. But, she believed with all her heart that Charles would return for her. But... he never came. Still, Silence didn't lose hope. Certainly he was trying, but he just wasn't able to get to her. So she started making her own plans to escape.

It wasn't easy, Silence being as injured and weakened as she was, but she'd had a good teacher and the shackles holding her were an easy matter. The hard part: getting out of... wherever she was (she later learned she was in a mon-made cavern beneath the house her and Charles had stolen from). She'd studied the habits of her guards, though, and so before long she'd found her way out and silently disappeared into the night.

When she returned to Eden Forest, it was not to the welcome she'd been expecting. Instead, those Thieves she came across (some of whom had been her friends) looked at her with disgust and the word "murderer" followed her wherever she went. Utterly bewildered, she returned to the hut she shared with Charles.

What she found there tore her heart apart. Charles was indeed there - but so was a Mismagius who seemed to have taken Silence's place in the home. At first Charles was surprised to see her, but then he seemed almost... pleased with himself, as if he'd accomplished something great, as he explained to Silence what had happened in her absence.

After Silence had been captured, Charles had continued on to contact their employer and give them the item. It started smoothly enough... but then their employer decided they'd rather not leave any loose ends and attacked Charles. In a panic, Charles defended himself - and it ended with his attacker dying. At first, the Gallade wasn't sure to do. There weren't many rules among the Thieves, but killing was most definitely against what rules there were.

But then he came up with a solution. Silence was missing and had quite possibly been arrested or killed, so it would be easy enough to pin the blame on her. Besides that after that mess up, he no longer cared for her - her capture had proven her incompetence (this shattered any of Silence's remaining images of Charles as her knight in shining armor). So when he returned to the Thieves' Forest, he told everyone that Silence had gotten annoyed with their employer and killed him, and then she'd fled for fear of repercussions. And so, Charles was able to continue living among the Thieves while Silence was viewed as a vile outcast and he replaced her with his new Mismagius companion.

Perhaps he'd thought Silence was too weak-willed to do anything about it. But considering she'd just escaped from imprisonment and torture after waiting for him to come save her (besides that she was also pregnant, and that plus anger is never a good mix)... Well, both him and that snide Mismagius didn't even get the chance to regret what they'd done.

Silence snapped. She'd passed off multiple things many times before - her father's abandonment, Snype's betrayal and then takeover of the Thieves, the days she'd spent locked up in that cavern... But this, this was the last straw. And suddenly, she didn't care anymore. They believed her to be a murderer? Well, with all the time Charles had to enforce that story, she wouldn't be able to change their minds.

They already saw her as a killer. So why not become one?

When Silence left her home in the Eden forest for good that day, her parting gifts were the bodies of Charles the Gallade and Helena the Mismagius. She left the name of "Craft" behind as well - it was the name of her mother and held everything Silence had built as a Thief, everything that had now fallen apart. Instead, she took the last name "Quickslash", something more of a title of sorts and the signal of her new and more... violent life, where she took on jobs from clients who needed something stolen to needing someone... removed from the picture.

The only thing Silence kept with her from the forest was a blue silk kerchief that she always has tied around her wrist. It wasn't expensive by any means, but it held great sentimental value to Silence as it was the only material object she had left from her mother. When Silence was a child she'd always get anxious when her parents were away from home for any extended period of time, so one day Willema tied the cloth around Silence's wrist, telling her daughter that whenever she was lonely or worried or scared to imagine that that was her holding her arm, protecting and caring her even when she wasn't there. Perhaps a silly form of comfort, but young as Silence was at the time, it was enough to calm her, and since her mother's death it has become her most prized possession.

When her son, a Ralts she named Dartanian, was born, she left him at an orphanage, not believing she was fit to be a parent given the life she was now delving into. She continues to watch him from a distance, though, even with the irony of him training at H.A.S. to join the Gold Tribe - a force opposite to her.

When Darkrai's forces attacked Gold City, you'd think Silence wouldn't care - but with Dartanian there, she did have one attachment. And even if she'd never spoken to her son, she knew enough from observation to realize that he wouldn't be abandoning the city he'd grown up in anytime soon. So, with her son's safety in mind, she went to Fort Ferrol to join up with the party that had gone in search of Cresselia. Though, well... with the King of Thieves and the Gold Tribe among the party, we'll see how well that goes.

                        The Story so far...

Following the meeting with the Seeker, the thieves met up with the Brotherhood in the same evening, where it was discovered that their leader was actually Isabella, the former General of the Standing Army. Isabella had begun to suspect Gabriel and his plans and for that, she believed Gabriel set her up in an assassination attempt against the Queen, and also an execution. Isabella escaped, and began working in the shadows to bring down the Gabriel. The two sides relayed further information about the situation outside, and Isabella relayed everything going on within the country, including her ties to Lord Arron of House Durania. They agreed on a loose partnership to bring down Gabriel by uncovering the past.

The first place they agreed to look, as suggested by Sylvio, was the events surrounding the Dark Tournament which took place over a century earlier. It was a similar incident that occurred during the Silver War, and was proof of Darkrai's involvement. Furthermore, Knights of Tollen as well as Gold Tribe fought together during this incident. Although it was initially covered up because of panic, there may have been some record left behind. The thieves sought to find this record, which Sylvio suspected was in the Raegal Center. The Raegal Center was constructed many years ago, and despite never being renovated, was allowed to stand from orders of the King directly without any explanation.

The thief group made their way inside the Raegal Center the following day and began to look for the records. They managed to discover it below the old library, but someone else seemed to track them as well. An Abomasnow formerly employed by Lord Arron, but who was recently 'outbid' into another 'mon's service, attacked the group and killed Creed. They met up with the brotherhood again later that day, where they discussed the event, as well as began tracking down further leads to bring down Gabriel.

The Diplomatic Team: The Diplomatic team has made contact with Lord Marrow of House Ellia.

The diplomats met with various dignitaries following the meeting. They first met with Lord Arron of House Durania, who explained that he was informed somewhat of Gabriel, at least on the part of him being a nuisance to many nobles of Tollen, and also supported him being removed from power. Lord Arron explained his ties to the Brotherhood of Shadows, a group bent on getting rid of Gabriel, and of various other secret networks. He explained that if they were to help him get rid of Gabriel, he would provide them troops for their fight in Gold City, as well as any information they seek. He also asked as a condition for this that the diplomats ask the Queen to allow Arron to sit on the Throne of Rectitude, which is a position reserved for the most trustworthy of Tollen. The position involves that should no heir be named to the current ruler, that 'mon which current sits on the throne will take over as the ruler of Tollen. Currently, Gabriel is allowed to sit on the Throne.

Following the meeting with Lord Arron, the diplomats met with Lord Caellen, son of the leader of House Jenoscent. He was much more shy than his father, as he claimed, and clearly didn't have the knack to rule. However, he did say that his father was not sick, but rather that he was out of the city in secret, as he did not trust was Gabriel said, and he wanted to see the condition of Tollen for himself. Lord Caellen promised what support he could if the diplomats helped return his father to him.

Their next meeting was with the Deputy Commander of the Royal Knights, Elewyn. Elewyn seemed sincere in her support of the situation in Valkaria, offered support in troops without any favors or requests in return. It seemed that there were still quite a few Royal Knights who were brought up viewing the Gold Tribe in a relatively favorable light.

The meeting after Elewyn was with Gabriel himself. The meeting was an odd affair with many fronts and double meanings behind it. However, when he did begin to explain himself, Gabriel seemed intent on keeping his motivations somewhat secretly while still implying a few things, including that the presence of the diplomats in Tollen did benefit him as well as them. It seemed like it was all a game to him, with Gabriel even betting the diplomats that they couldn't bring him down within two nights from their meeting, where they were to attend a banquet of sorts, in which the Queen of Tollen would also be present.

After some time, the place received a message from a nearby village, which said that there was a Tollenian noble from Argime there.

The forest team met up with a Seeker from Valkaria, Alexis, who was strangely transported here by a Network Machine. The reason for his transportation was a mystery then, but it usually doesn't malfunction on this level unless some sort of strong psychic energy was the cause behind it, likely from another Network Machine. With another Seeker and psychic present, Penance/Brynn decided to try and contact Argime through a long, psychic chain of connections. Even though it was far away, they decided to try. They connected with every Psychic they had in the area, and tried to extend themselves across the forest. Their signal was picked up, however not by Argime. Instead, they were surprised to learn that there was a second Network Point established on the outside of Argime in secret. According to a quick message, it was placed there for the Pentosarrs and Morrians to go and use to get a quick path into Argime straight into the city. The forest group is somewhat skeptical, believing that the message could be a trap, so they send a scouting team there first. Following this, they call for the army to arrive in the location, which is by a town called Brookerridge, to finally put the pieces of the plan into place.

                        Part 1: Tollen

                        Spoiler:

The Diplomatic Team: The Diplomatic team has made contact with Lord Marrow of House Ellia.

The Thief Team: Two thieves, Charlie and Obsidian, decided to gather some information by infiltrating the palace of the Queen.

The Thieves pursued several leads the following days. Skuld would go and find the Abomasnow and end up tailing him. From there he would learn that he was indeed in the service of the enemy, specifically General Marcus Tyren, who appeared to be allied with Gabriel. Other leads including diving into Isabella's memories, where they discovered a possible connection between the plague and Gabriel, and saw how Gabriel used a strange object to possibly influence the effects of the plague. Other leads were found in the palace, where Snype infiltrated and found an encrypted note. After the encryption, it was discovered to be from someone named 'Xander', and which details Gabriel's relationship with Darkrai. Snype would also find an interesting book known as 'Guardians', as well as a documentation of the orders of the Royal Knights, most of them which seemed against what was best for Tollen. A strange vial was also found in the room, one which gave Snype a vision of something menacing, perhaps of Darkrai's power, or even Darkrai himself.

Snype fled the scene, but not before also recruiting the help of Rupert the Mr Mime advisor, and also hearing the story of the old Royal Knight Alistair, who shared the tale of the Prince's death by hunting accident. It appeared that back then, the same vial Snype had found was used then by Marcus Tyren (then a Royal Knight) to make sure the prince died. Snype found one more piece of evidence in the form of love letters from a lesser noble named Pieter. The love letters, which were directed to the Deputy Commander of the Royal Knights, stated information about the previous assassination attempts of the Queen, and that connection not to Isabella, but to Gabriel and Darkrai's Agents. With all of this information in tow, the Thieves now had enough evidence to take down Gabriel. However, just before they would present it, Isabella ended up losing two pieces of the evidence after losing it in a tussle with Royal Knights loyal to Gabriel. Gabriel had apparently found out about the identity of the group looking for evidence and decided to put a stop to it. Isabella ended up losing the Guardians book and the Royal Commander schedule. These weren't extreme losses, but they did have some important information in them.

Snype was also attacked following the scene, with some of the strongest Royal Knights pursuing him. He ended up momentarily evading them, and wandered the city for a while, seeing it go to mayhem as soldiers entered homes in search of the thief team. However, Snype ended up being trailed by none other than one of the strongest warriors in Tollen, Marcus Tyren. Tyren was powerful, and was in the process of taking down and defeating Snype. However, he was eventually saved by Popous, whom Snype met earlier while in disguise. Popous took Snype to his home, where once the Sableye recovered, he shared his entire story with him. Popous listened and agreed to help at the banquet, adding another ally to the group.

After some time, the place received a message from a nearby village, which said that there was a Tollenian noble from Argime there.

Following this, they called for the army to arrive in the location, which is by a town called Brookerridge, to finally put the pieces of the plan into place.

The army showed up and positioned itself in Brookerridge, and soon after the army of the Morrians and Pentosarrs showed up. It was a conflict that took the entire night, but with the help of the Valkarians and some Seeker reinforcements, the Hellguards prevailed. With the Psychics now in tow, the forest team was now able to help out their friends in Argime, and share what had happened, but not before the Hellguards promised their full support in the war against Darkrai in Valkaria.

Together Again: The Thief, Forest, and Diplomat teams reunited at the banquet, where they shared all of the evidence against Marcus Tyren and Gabriel to the entire city and the nobility and other dignitaries of Tollen. The evidence was large, and the Valkarians found themselves with an advantage, until Gabriel decided to take matters into his own hands and try to force the Queen to drink from a cup, which many believed was probably poisoned. Little did he know that Rupert, the Mr. Mime adviser, had switched out the Queen's cup at the last minute, potentially saving her life.

Backed into a corner, Gabriel, Tyren, and what loyal Royal Guards he had with him decided to make a run for it, with the Queen in tow. The Valkarians and the Tollen defenders pursued. They squared off against Gabriel's best, in a fight for the city. Tyren eventually decided to stop running and face off against the tag team duo of Raz and Kaveri. In a tough bout, the two were eventually able to defeat the Agent of Darkrai and apparently kill him.

Meanwhile, Callimer, Snype, and Obsidian decided to pursue Gabriel, who had the Queen as a hostage. They were eventually able to get the Queen out of his hands, and Snype scurried away to bring her to safety. Eventually backed into a corner, both Obsidian and Cal fought with Gabriel. They appeared to be holding him off, but the Greninja was powerful. It became apparent that the Greninja was relying on some power of Darkrai through a small orb he held in his hands. When Snype returned, the three hatched a plan to get rid of the object in question. They were successful in doing so, much to the dismay of the Greninja.

Gabriel demanded the orb back, but the three refused, instead demanding that Gabriel surrender. Gabriel proceeded to ask if Snype remembered what he had first said to him when they first met. Snype shrugged it off as some lame line he said in Gold City, but Gabriel clarified that their first meeting actually came 30 years before. To the shock of the three warriors, Gabriel proceeded to recite words spoken by Darkrai to Snype many years prior, and then subsequently transformed into the legendary before their very eyes. They briefly tussled with the legendary, but were overwhelmed. Darkrai put them to sleep, but not before he explained to them the necessity of keeping them alive: chaos. Darkrai then escaped Tollen as the three fell asleep.

They were awoken by Guardia, and then shared their experience. Alex came soon after and helped to remove any possible power of Darkrai inside of them. Oddly enough, only Callimer and Obsidian had any corruption inside, while Snype remained free of it.

The next few days were spent recovering and reuniting, and a few days later, a meeting was held where the dignitaries of Tollen all gathered. There, the Valkarians nominated Isabella for her old position of General of the Standing Army, and Elewyn became the new Royal Commander. Lord Arron of House Durania was also elected to have the honor to sit on the Throne of Rectitude, much to the disagreement of many dignitaries.

The meeting also featured the Tollenians providing what aid they could, including Commander Darrell promising the entire Hellguard force once they need it. Elewyn, Marrow, and Arron also pledged Royal Knights number a bit of 100, and Isabella also promised her support through what remained of her Brotherhood members. Rupert promised what help he could through hired mercenaries, and Popous and Alistair agreed they would be present at the fight. Roran also set up an alliance with Snype with the new Brotherhood, one that was more thief-centered.

The meeting also featured a few notable events and reveals about other matters, including the fact that the orb around Zai's neck was the same one, or a similar one, to the one Gabriel had. Many theories were put forth about this. It was also revealed that Raz had a bit of Darkrai's power inside of him. Arron also shared some stories about Anatellia, and how legendaries were confirmed to walk with normal 'mon there. He recommended they go there. Isabella remembered reading something of the sort in the 'Guardians' book she lost, but could not remember more than becoming more than 'normal 'mon'. Marrow also brought out the Psychics of Brookerridge and shared a message they received, one which specifically said that Cresselia had been found in a hymn. After some more deliberation, the group eventually voted to go to Anatellia, to find help against Darkrai from other legendaries, and to find the origins of the message.

                        Fort Ferrol Again

                        Spoiler:
The group eventually returned to Fort Ferrol to once more rest and recuperate before heading to Anatellia. At this point, while they rested, they were met with two new individuals. One was a mercenary named Silence Quickslash, who was willing to do practically any job, including assassination. The other was a tribes'mon, a nomad from the unclaimed lands that traveled with a pack named Nyalla. Both agreed to accompany the group to their next destination, one as a contract and the other to eventually reach her tribe.

At one point in Fort Ferrol, a myserious Pokemon named Wem appeared before Raz, with only Raz apparently able to see it. It was a shapeshifter, appearing to continuously change its species at will. It mentioned that in Anatellia, not only was it said that legendaries sometimes walked among normal Pokemon, but that normal Pokemon could also walk among the legendaries. It appeared at the end as a Mew, and vanished without a trace.
