I ended up with Flaaby as my starter, and nearly wiped on the first rival battle. Paralyze was really clutch.


Also, in the Santalune Forest (way at the beginning), I ended up finding a shiny Mega Lucario and added him to the team. He ended up dying right at the end of the elite four, so I didn't include him in my HOF.



I will probably move on to Sun next, using the same rules.
