Yeah rich people man.

Money is important and can improve people's quality of life by a lot. Without it you got no food, no water, no shelter, no clothes, and the list goes on

I also dislike how some people will feel jealous if you appear to make more money than them or they will feel all superior when you don't. Well at least with one of my stingy, big ego relatives, that's how it is.

I don't make very much of it, but I am good at saving what I have. I hope to have a better life eventually.

It is vital however not to judge people based on money though. I don't believe that a person who is poor, homeless, using a social welfare program or living in a country experiencing crisis, is a parasite. I think money should never be so lofty that we hold somebody without any at all in contempt as having nothing to offer society. I don't believe in social Darwinism. I want to have a safe, happy life and want the same for everyone else. I think everybody is entitled to an at least humane standard of living.

As others said, money would solve over half of my problems right now. There's always money related stuff I get anxious about.

Money is both the best possible way to manage an economy and also the source of most of the world's problems because of how unfairly and unevenly it is distributed. As for myself, a lot of my problems stem from a lack of money and I'd definitely love to have more.

"Money doesn't make you happy" is only partially true. If you have enough to be able to decently live, having more doesn't significantly increase your happiness. But that's the big if, below that money can definitely make you happier.

That said, I'm not actually tight on money (though far from rich), but I'm still a bit of a cheapskate. I don't spend it blindly, but it's great not having to worry about finances if I really need something. Still living with my parents does help a lot I must add, since I don't need to spend a lot.
Footnote however is that I do need to get a college degree within a few years or else it would cost me about €20,000.

Money is something that all of us wish we can get more of. I've been unemployed since finishing college...it's hard to get a job that I could enjoy doing. My problem stems from the idea that the more money you have, the better off you are, which is one thing what people that advocate for higher minimum wages believe in (the whole thing about the higher cost of living, I'm not talking about those folks; they likely have a valid point). The problem is, when you suddenly have more money...you want more stuff, and that puts you right back in a situation where you need more money to afford the more lavish lifestyle you chose to have when you did get more money. People need to be able to live within their means, and I think most people failed to do that. People should prioritize saving up for retirement and emergency funds and trying to pay off bills rather than getting the latest and greatest in technology or fashion.

For the reasons listed earlier, the idea of the US adopting a socialism policy (which is what Democrats want), is scary to me. Why should my hard-earned money go towards someone that thinks the government will provide all of their financial needs and just lies around doing nothing all day?
