I finally beat the Super Singles in the Battle Maison! I've been trying to get a 50 win streak and beat the facility's boss since Black/White, and I finally did it! It makes me happy. =D

Hi all! I'm Dksoulstice, I'm new to these forums.

Even though I'm a Pokemon Master, when it comes to competitive battling, I am quite the neophyte. I've joined these forums in hopes of developing my skills and any help is appreciated :mudkip^_^:

The most helpful tool to me so far, has been the Pokemon Battle simulator Pokemon Showdown! It has various battle modes and lets you test out any and all types of Pokemon that you want. I've gained quite a bit of knowledge from Pokemon Showdown which will help me once I choose to battle in Pokemon X/Y

A new feature in X and Y has been the ability to upload Wi-Fi battles for the world to see on their VS Recorders! I was wondering if anyone else has had any interesting battles they wanted to share? I'll start. A multi battle in which I'm the only non-ubers guy, and someone forgets about my Gastrodon's ability! All seems lost, then reckless staraptor annahilates everything. Here is a battle that I won using a Heatran using him. He is also my set up guy in ubers. I use hiss Stealth rock to combo with Dark Void in ubers. But in this OU the stealth rock is what got me the win.

I am surprised at this Ubers battle. I used an OU pokemon. It was a Klefki sweep. Dont believe watch it and be amazed. BTW I am Paigeee

This is worth watch battle, my underdog team vs the superior megas.

Definitely my most satisfying use of strategic switches: NCFG-WWWW-WWW6-8ETX

And a lesson on how to stop a Smeargle lead dead in its tracks: BBCG-WWWW-WWW3-J94J

So, two things I have to say about this:

1. Substitute + Ghost Curse + Pain Split = so much win :D

2. Never baton pass a curse.
