Fennekin all the way. The anime has made me hate greninja, and I just don't like chespin that much :p Braixen is about on par with mudkip.

Fennekin because I started with it and though it had the cutest and best design when the Kalos starters were first revealed.
Greninja is on par with Charizard in the fanservice department, and Chesnaught is alright, Spiky Shield is a useful move.

I just love Froakie. It is really cute and Frogadier doesn't look bad like a couple of middle evolution (Quilladin, Pignite). Just my opinion. But, you gotta admit that Greninja is a bad-ass Pokemon in both competitive and looks. Also I like ninjas so that might add to it and I love a lot of water starters.
