Hey, all.
This is my first post on my first ever forum (apart from Toms Hardware) so I don't really know how to operate this.

But anyway, I recently bought Pokemon Black 2 and I decided to plan out my team before anything. This is how it goes:

Emboar:
Undetermined moveset

Krookodile
Undetermined moveset

Seismitoad
Undetermined moveset

Sawsbuck
Undetermined moveset

Galvantula
Undetermined moveset

Undetermined Pokemon
Undetermined moveset

Sooo....... yeah it sucks. "decided to plan" haha. But as you can see, I know nothing about Gen 5. I don't know what moves a Poke can learn. Heck, I don't even know every Poke in Gen 5! What I'm looking for is some advice on what little team I have so far, some good movesets that work well with the other pokemon and that final 6th poke. Thanks to anyone who bothered reading this far

Aww welcome to PokeCommunity! :) Here's a quick link to the rules (although your'e doing fine already!): http://www.pokecommunity.com/misc.php?do=rules

You can see recent posts here: https://www.pokecommunity.com/search.php?do=getnew (this may or may not be useful!) You can introduce yourself in Meet and Greet: https://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=35 ...if you want to! If not that's cool too. Right next to that is the questions forum: https://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=4 but if you're wondering anything about how the...forum works, feel free to send me a message! To do that just click on my name and select "Send a Private Message to Forever". Sorry haha I don't often explain how to use forums but I think those are the most important things for now!

Congrats on getting Black 2, though! It's a really good game. :) Honestly your team isn't too bad, although if it's your first time I would add in a Scrafty - it just makes things easier as it's good late game. They're all good Pokemon in their own right although I do suggest having a look at this: http://www.smogon.com/dex/bw/formats/ou/ These were generally the top tier Pokemon, not everything generally applies to in-game but a lot of Pokemon you have there were generally lower tier (and are still great just aren't necessarily competitively viable... so if you wanted to do Battle Subway or stuff like that you could look at the link there!

For Emboar:
Scald (given after beating the last gym leader)
Flame Charge (tubeline bridge)
Flare Blitz (level 62)
Brick Break (battle subway)
Stone Edge (twist mountain)
Wild Charge (victory road)
Head Smash (level 50)
Earthquake (route 15)

For Krookodile
Earthquake (level 54)
Crunch (level 28)
Brick Break (battle subway)
Stone Edge (twist mountain)

For Seismitoad
Muddy Water (level 28)
Hydro Pump (level 53)
Scald (given after beating the last gym leader)
Surf (route 6)
Grass Knot (pinwheel forest)
Strength (castelia sewers)
Poison Jab (Moor of Icirrus)

Sawsbuck
Horn Leech (level 37)
Double-Edge (level 52)
Jump Kick (level 24)

Fourth doesn't really matter, most options are good!

Galvantula
Signal Beam (level 34)
Bug Buzz (level 60)
Discharge (level 54)
Thunderbolt (victory road)
Charge Beam (lentimas town)
Energy Ball (aspertia city)

...Scrafty, if you decide to use it!
Brick Break (level 20)
Crunch (level 38)
Hi Jump Kick (level 31)
Bulk Up (striaton city)

Drain Punch can be achieved through breeding with Mienfoo, sooo you could try breeding for a Moxie with Drain Punch, and Dragon Dance through Axew. Drain Punch, Dragon Dance, Crunch and Hi Jump Kick is usually the ideal moveset though. If you're not up to breed that's cool. :)

Okay that's a lot of information...

But most importantly I want you to just... try! Just catch everything new and try using it. Late game you can use this stuff but if you don't know Gen 5 Pokemon this is the perfect excuse to get to know different ones :) If you have any further questions feel free to use this thread as your bed of your own personal fifth gen questions!
