So there's a shop that literally just started a league this weekend that's closer to me than my other leagues. While attendance wasn't great, it's something the shop will be working on. They do already have a selection of Pokemon singles.

AAAAAH Man I love the Advanced gen cards so much! Delta Species still remains one of my mos favorite series to date!

Today I opened some new cards, I opened the Salamence GX box and also a Lost Thunder 3 pack blister. The 3 pack is my first time opening Lost Thunder.

The 3 pack contained the Adventure Bag secret rare. The Salamence had an Altaria Gx and a Victini prism card.

I haven't been opening cards much recently but I would definitely get a case if Pokemon decides to release the Ultra Shiny cards in English.

It was a bit of an unexpected find. I spotted several other cards in the rares binder of the store I found it in that I want to buy, but I'll have to piecemeal buy them at the prices they're at, lol.

Also picked up more singles from there this weekend. Rocket's Sneak Attack, Rocket's Hitmonchan, and the Southern Islands Mew:

I didn't do much last night, but I did open a Lunala GX box. Pulled just a Jirachi Prism Star from the packs for anything above a normal rare, though.

One was the Pikachu & Eevee Poke Ball Collection, which does include a plastic Poke Ball and a Pikachu & Eevee figure. Pulled Lusamine Prism Star, Sigilyph GX, and my first copy of the Sturdy Donphan: https://i.imgur.com/S0CTAzT.jpg

The other was the Pikachu & Eevee TCG lunchbox thing. That has promos of the Kanto legendary bird trio and a few extras in addition to the 5 booster packs. Pulled a rainbow rare Pheromosa GX and a Full Art Umbreon GX from the packs: https://i.imgur.com/xFzl1ep.jpg

Prize of the haul is the Rocket's Mewtwo.

Opened the rest of the tins and got an Umbreon GX full art and a Brock's Grit Full Art, probably have 7 of those now but only ever pulled 1 Misty.

Okay so I don't *technically* own them yet but I just ordered a few singles and I'm super excited!!!

I wish that Sylveon card had a full art version of that art. I quite like it and think the pattern would look quite nice based on full arts like the Meloetta EX and the Full Art Emolga.

You ever gonna try flipping the excess Brock's Grit cards?

Personally, I'd probably hold onto them for a few years and wait until a later value spike because they'll have been out of print for several years at that point.
