I was first thinking of choosing Tepig as my starter for Black but Oshawott's adorable personality in the anime changed all that and I settled on Oshawott as my starter, now he's my personal favorite!

Snivy will always be the best Unova starter.

I have, like, a hundred BILLION reasons!

1: It's name.
2: Because it's Water-Type.
3: Hikari makes it worse.
4: Gen V Pokemon (All except a few) suck.
5: Because of it's design.
6: It's a monstrosity of a Pokemon.
7: Gamefreak must be running out of ideas.
8: Because Genwunners and Genlovers alike say that Oshawott is the worst.
9: Everything in it's line is weak.
10: Snivy beats it in cuteness, power, and like, everything.
11: Even Tepig is better.
12: Every DIGIMON can beat it easily.
13: Because it's based off a stupid otter.
14: I was hoping for ANOTHER good Water Starter like Mudkip! You just get an underpowered Magikarp... Oh and don't say I don't like Fire best because Fire IS best!
15: I believe Hikari asked Game Freak if they could make a Water Type Otter!
16: A stupid professor, ALWAYS gives out stupid stuff. Snivy is an exception.
17: Magikarps can PWN Oshawott.
18: Oshawott should be replaced, with, like, a baby Hammerhead Shark.
19: It's anime is horrible. It's personality, it's character.
20: Everything you think about it is something bad about it!
