Chance Furlong nods sagely after accepting PapaChu's request to save MiniChu Jr. He had heard the name Tungsten Lickboot before but had never had dealings with him personally. He contemplated things for a moment when he received a call from his secretary Miss MoneyKitty.
'Mr Furlong, someone is here to see you'. She said. 'It seems to be a woman in a green dress.'
Chance simply said 'Send her up.'

A moment later the 'woman in a green dress' entered his office. She looked like no woman he had seen before. She had an all white face with large eyes and no visible nose and mouth. She was wearing an elegant looking green dress and had long green hair. On her head was what looked to be a hat accentuated with a large orange flower. Whilst Chance looked the woman spoke:
'Good Afternoon, My name is Gardy.' The woman said. 'And I am a Lilligant.'
Not ever seeing a Lilligant before Chance did not know what to say.
'I am a Pokemon.' Gardy continued. 'Some call me The Flowering Pokemon and I am here to help you against Lickboot.'
Chase stood up and welcomed the Lilligant. He noticed the Grass Pokemon was somewhat shorter than him.

'I trust that you are aware of the Ninja Frog's current activity?' Gardy asked.
Chance nodded. 'We need to go to the beach where his activities have been occurring.'
The Lilligant nodded in agreement.
'And this is who we have to rescue.' Chance says pulling out a picture showing a very small Pikachu playing with a bottle of ketchup. 'He is called MiniChu Jr and he is the son of PapaChu and Mamachu.'
Gardy looked at the picture closely and nodded again.
'Lickboot is a Greninja and is a Wate/Dark type.' The Lilligant said. 'As a part water Pokemon he is weak to Grass type moves, I am a Grass Type Pokemon.'
Chance nodded at hearing this information and the two headed for the beach.

The two saw Lickboot trying to convince a family of the Delphox line about a free meal but Chance stopped him in his tracks.
'Hold it right there Lickboot.' The cat said skilfully jumping between the family and the Ninja Frog. 'Your days of trickery are over.'
'Who or what are you?' Lickboot responded. 'No matter Water Shuriken.'
As the Delphox family fled back to their hotel Chance evaded three of the shurikens before being hit by the fourth. As Lickboot went to fire more shurikens at the cat he was hit by several seeds which somehow changed his ability from Protean to Insomnia.
'The Flowering Pokemon?' Lickboot said in disbelief as he turned around to see Gardy. 'Taking away my ability...'
Gardy interrupted him by merely stating 'Leaf Storm' before eating a White Herb. The Lilligant produced an impressive stream of leaves which hit the Greninja causing him to fall to his knees, his tongue scarf hanging feebly.

'Where's MiniChu Jr?' Chance said. 'We know you have him.'
The Greninja looked down and simply said 'In my Beach House.' He was still in significant pain but said 'Follow Me.'
Clutching his chest the Greninja led the two to the Beach House where MiniChu Jr was sleeping peacefully.
'Mr Cat.' Lickboot said. 'Please note I was only doing this because PapaChu makes the world's best Ketchup and I wanted to know his secret.'
Chance responded 'Perhaps he does but stealing his son is not the way to go about it.' He adjusted his hat. 'But you will have plenty of time to formulate your very own recipe during your time in jail.'
A defeated Lickboot accepted his fate as two Officer Jennys take him away.
Chance picked up MiniChu. 'Come on little guy, let's get you back to your parents.'

After a few moments walk Chance and Gardy arrived at the hotel the Chu family were staying in.
'You rescued Minichu Jr.' MamaChu said with joy. 'How can we repay you both.'
Chance had an idea. 'I have heard your husband makes the World's best Ketchup.'
MamaChu shouted PapaChu who overjoyed at seeing his son again said 'Here is a voucher for each of you for a lifetime of free ketchup.'
Chance and Gardy thanked PapaChu for the kind reward and left the hotel and Chance spotted two familiar faces.

'Chance.' Jake said. 'Just because I am on holiday does not mean...'
'I was helping PapaChu find his son.' Chance said cutting his partner off and pointing to Gardy. 'The Lilligant Gardy helped.'
'Wow I love her style.' Kimmeow said quickly approaching the Lilligant. 'I really like your dress.'
'It's not exactly a dress.' Gardy said.
'Have you seen my show?' Kimmeow asked. 'I think you should make a guest appearance. We have much to discuss.'
As the two girls went for a meal Jake sighed 'Guess I best end my holiday early. Is that the same PapaChu who does the Ketchup?'
'The World's Best.' Chance responded. 'I've now got a lifetimes supply
'Looks like the ladies will be a while.' Jake said. 'How about we go back to the Precinct and see how that Ketchup tastes on the cook's finest fish.'
Chance liked this idea and was pleased at a job well done by himself and Gardy.

As Razor was busy, Chance knew there was only one other person he could call on for help. He didn't like it, but this was his last resort. He would have to call up Jack, a very old "friend."

Jack had always been obsessed with money. Back in his school days, he was a bully, the type who would steal weak kids' lunch money. He hadn't changed much - now he ran a shady organisation that exchanged a lot of money for vigilante justice. He never liked to get his own hands dirty though, so he had his little birds do things for him.

Chance dialled Jack's number, hoping he had got the right one. Thankfully, he didn't have to wait long for Jack to pick up.
"Hey, Jack..."
"It's Don now. Don Jackdaw. What's up Chance?"
Don? Really? Did he fancy himself as some sort of mafia boss now?
"Don. I'm in the Bahamas, with a friend of mine. His son has been kidnapped by Tungstain Lickboot. I don't suppose one of your boys would be able to help us out?"
"Tungstain Lickboot, eh?" Don crowed, "I suppose I do have someone who can help you out. He's meant to be on holiday, but if I throw in a little extra pay, I'm sure he will help. It will come at a price, though."
"What kind of price?"
"A million."
"A million?! Are you nuts? Who has that kind of money? Can't you do...I dunno, mates rates or something?" Chance exclaimed.
"We weren't exactly mates, Chance. I suppose I could go down to three hundred grand, but you'll have to throw in one of Tungstain's famous treasures too."
"Ugh...fine. It's a deal."
"Raven should be at the resort tonight. Meet him at midnight." Don hung up, sighed, then got in touch with his agent Raven.

Night fell at the resort. Chance was waiting for Raven at the same restaurant where MiniChu Jr was captured. It seems that restaurant was where all the shady business went down at this resort. He heard a flutter, and then a clink, like silverware falling to the ground. A spoon glinted in the moonlight. In a blink, it was gone, and a Murkrow stood before Chance, spoon in his wing.
"The name's Raven. You must be Chance, right?"
"Right." Chance replied.
"Come quickly, I have found Tungstain's hideout. It's where he's keeping MiniChu Jr, as well as one of his most valuable treasures."

An hour later, they found what was supposedly Tungstain's hideout, but it didn't look much more than an oversized, glorified shack. It was in the middle of the forest, which made sense as the forest saw more rain than the resort, and Tungstain was known to love the rain.
"The front door makes a lot of noise, so we'll have to go in around the back," Raven whispered, leading Chance through the undergrowth around the hideout to the back door. Raven picked the lock, and they went inside.

What luck! This was the room where Tungstain was keeping MiniChu Jr! As Raven began to release the poor Pichu from the ropes that were tied around the chair he sat on, Chance noticed something shining in the next room. He peeked inside and saw the Golden Wooden Spoon trophy, which belonged to the Kangaskhan who baked the award-winning cakes at the restaurant. It must be valuable, otherwise Tungstain would not have stolen it, but Chance wasn't sure if he should take something that belonged to someone else and use it to pay off his debts to Don.
Suddenly, there was movement upstairs. Tungstain had woken up.
"Chance, quick! We need to go! Take something and get out of here!" Raven whispered in an urgent manner. Chance made a snap decision about whether to take the trophy, then ran out of the hideout alongside Raven, who was carrying MiniChu Jr.

Early the next morning, while it was still dark, Chance had reunited MiniChu Jr with a very relieved PapaChu and MamaChu. Raven had already disappeared, presumably to go back to his own holiday. They were just about to return to their beds when a shady figure emerged from the darkness.
"I heard your mission was a success, Chance. Now, your payment is due..."

The sun was high in the sky, and the air was warm. Seawater slowly brushed against the shoreline, as a light breeze wafted through the palm trees.

Beneath one of those trees was a young girl wearing a light pink top and a pair of shorts, in addition to a bright red Hibiscus above her right ear. Her long red pigtails swayed lightly in the wind as she looked out at the horizon.

Her name was Hanasaki Tsubomi, and she was standing in the same spot where she had been earlier that day. She and her family had been on vacation in the Bahamas, and she had decided to do a little exploring on her own. Her grandma had called the place she was visiting "The Isle of Flowers," and Tsubomi was adamant about finding the field of flowers that just had to exist in a place with such a name.

It was then that she had heard the sound of a motor out at sea. Looking out over the waves, she could see a small two-person vessel. That was normal enough, but what spiked Tsubomi's interest was the occupant: a large blue frog-like creature with an abnormally long tongue.

She didn't realize at the time, but the frog was a Greninja named Tungstain Lickboot, and the boat also held the kidnapped MiniChu Jr., a young Pikachu who like Tsubomi had been in the Bahamas vacationing with his parents. If only she had known....

Then..."Tsubomi, Tsubomi-desu! Are you alright?!"

She smiled, relieved to see Chypre, her fairy companion, hovering in the air in front of her. She pulling the small white and green creature to her chest and held her closely. "I'm sorry for worrying you Chypre. I'm alright, I was just...thinking how things could have been different."

But before Chypre could give a response, the two heard another voice in the distance. "Tsubomi?"

The two friends turned to see T-Bone, the talking cat who had made them aware of the situation. He was a big furry creature in black and red military uniform. He was coming from the nearby resort where Tsubomi's parents were staying.

"Chance," Tsubomi said, turning around to greet the anthropomorphic feline. "Are we ready to go yet?"

The cat nodded. "She'll be here any minute, and then we can be on our way. And you can call me T-Bone, miss."

"She..." Tsubomi repeated the word he had used, somewhat confused. Who else was coming with them?

It didn't take long for her to find out, as she soon could hear the thrusters of an aircraft descending from the sky above her. It looked similar to a fighter jet, except it was adorning the same black and red arrangement as T-Bone's uniform.

"Alright, here we go," T-Bone said as he leaped into the pilot's seat. "Tsubomi, you sure are in for a treat! Not just anyone gets a chance to ride in the most advanced aircraft of Megakat City."

Tsubomi looked the vehicle over with a puzzled expression. "What makes it so special? Isn't it just a machine like any other?" She didn't know what else to say. Chypre nodded in agreement.

T-Bone's jaw literally dropped as he heard Tsubomi's words. "You have cat to be kitten meow..." he muttered to himself as Tsubomi climbed into the passenger seat. Chypre flew in behind her as the canopy glass began to seal around them.

"Just mapping our course..." T-Bone said as Tsubomi and Chypre looked out at the island they were about to leave. Somewhere down there were Tsubomi's parents, not knowing what kind of trouble their daughter was getting into. And also there were MamaChu and PapaChu, hoping for their son's safe return.

"And we're off!" In what seemed like mere seconds, the island shrunk and shrunk until it had faded into the distance. The Turbokat was now flying low over the Atlantic Ocean, following the trajectory that Tsubomi had seen Lickboot taking earlier.

"Any sign of them?" Tsubomi asked. T-Bone shook his head. There was now no land in sight, and she was beginning to worry that they may not be able to find MiniChu Jr. after all.

But then Chypre's eyes grew wide as she pointed to the western horizon."A light! I see a light-desu!"

Tsubomi and T-Bone both looked where the fairy was pointing. "What the...what is that?" Tsubomi whispered as the source of the light came closer and closer. By now it was evident that it was a bird. But no regular bird....

"Zapdos," T-Bone said, recognizing it. "The legendary bird Pok?mon. I had thought it was only a myth-"

SHREEEEEEEKK!! SHREEEEEKK!!

The Pok?mon's deafening call blasted through the air like a summer storm. T-Bone, trying to keep his sanity intact, turned the Turbokat to face Zapdos head on. "Prepare for my Purrfect Clawbbering!" he shouted as he began to deploy a missile.

"What are you doing?!" Tsubomi cried out, obviously in a state of panic. "You plan to take on that thing?"

"I have to!" T-Bone said. "But you don't. Chypre, hold on tight to Tsubomi."

"What are you doing?!" Tsubomi yelled, but it was already too late, as T-Bone had activated her emergency escape.

"T-Bone nooooo!" Tsubomi yelled as she felt herself launching into free fall, nearly a kilometre above the open water. And looking up, she could see the Turbokat, now a brilliant shade of yellow, as it succombed to Zapdos' Thunderbolt attack.

"Tsubomi-desu!" Chypre yelled. "Hurry up and transform! We don't have much time!" The small fairy was clinging onto Tsubomi's hair literally hanging on for dear life, but nonetheless she had the sense to keep going.

So did Tsubomi. She didn't know how, but she managed to retrieve her Heart Perfume. And then..."Precure Open My Heart!"

Moments later she had completed her transformation into Cure Blossom, while Chypre had become the cape that allowed her to fly.

The Zapdos, having left the Turbokat in ruins and falling into the ocean, quickly turned to face this new threat.

SHREEEEEKK!! SHREEEEEEKK!

Blossom could see the Pok?mon glowing with electrical energy, obviously preparing to launch an attack. But now she too was glowing with energy, albeit that of flowers. While summoning her Blossom Tact, she aimed it at Zapdos as a large energy flower began to appear.

"How dare you interrupt our search for poor MiniChu Jr.!" Blossom yelled out at the top of her lungs. "I have reached my limit! Pink Forte Waaaaave!!!"

The moment the words escaped her lips, the energy flower blasted towards Zapdos at near-lightning speed. Meanwhile Zapdos unleashed his own power, which was also of course at lightning speed. The two attacks collided, resulting in a maelstrom of pink and yellow energy, as both Blossom and the Zapdos waited to see which was the more powerful strike.

And...it was the flower power! The electricity dispersed, as Blossom's attack broke through blasting Zapdos head on! Blossom watched in amazement as the legendary bird tumbled towards the sea below, defeated.

"It's super-effective-desu!" Chypre cheered.

Blossom let off a huge sigh of relief as well, but her attention quickly returned to the search for MiniChu Jr., and now for T-Bone as well. She scanned the sea in every direction, but could find no trace of land of any kind.

"Zapdos must have someplace to roost nearby," she said, determined to keep going. "Let's keep looking."

And they did. It didn't take long before they found a tiny island in what was now the middle of nowhere. It was only a few dozen metres across, and the only sign of human activity was an abandoned lighthouse at the centre. The structure was surrounded by the charred remains of palm trees, which presumably met their fate at the hands of Zapdos' Thunderbolt.

Blossom landed on the island and transformed back into Tsubomi, while Chypre reverted to her true form as well. The two made their way to the lighthouse, looking for any signs of life and finding none.

But then a creaking sound began to come from the lighthouse. Someone or something was opening the door!

Chypre fled behind Tsubomi, who was shaking with fear and wondering what new type of beast the two would have to face. Was it another legendary Pok?mon? A Desertrian? Something else unimaginabely horrifying? She knew she was about to find out as the door opened wider and a shadowiny figure stepped out.

"Piii...ka?"

Tsubomi's feeling of dread soon became one of relief at the sight of the miniature Pikachu. "MiniChu Jr.? Is that you?"

MiniChu Jr. looked up at Tsubomi but didn't say a word. He was obviously scared out of his mind.

"It's alright," Tsubomi said, kneeling down and offering her hand to the Pikachu. "My name is Tsubomi. Your MamaChu and PapaChu sent me to find you."

"MamaChu...PapaChu..." MiniChu Jr. began. Tsubomi nodded.

But MiniChu Jr. wasn't convinced. "Me want believe you...but why MamaChu and PapaChu send stranger to find me? Big brother LegendChu-he is fantabulously awesome you know-should be here instead!"

"I don't know why this LegendChu didn't come," Tsubomi said, still holding out her hand. "But I did. My name is Hanasaki Tsubomi. I'm really shy but I'm trying to change that. I love flowers and friendship. Maybe we could become friends MiniChu Jr., so that I would no longer be a stranger. Then I could take you home to MamaChu and PapaChu."

"So you not stranger, you MiniChu Jr.'s friend? MiniChu Jr. love that idea, Aunty Tsubomi!" And with that he took Tsubomi's hand.

At that same moment Chypre decided to come back from behind Tsubomi. "Hello, I'm Chypre-des-"

"Aaaaahhhhh" MiniChu Jr. began to run away again.

A few minutes later, after everyone was calmed down again, MiniChu Jr. informed Tsubomi and Chypre about LickBoot's plan. The kidnapping was just a ploy to draw out the AKChu, which should be on its way to the resort where MamaChu, PapaChu, and Tsubomi's parents were all waiting. And along with them was LickBoot, who could now steal the churner with little to no resistance.

"We fell right into his trap," Tsubomi said, collapsing to the ground and looking out to the sea. "There's no way we can make it back in time."

But then..."Wait Tsubomi, look-desu!"

It was Chypre pointing towards the setting sun. Tsubomi looked, and saw what had to be a speedboat, except it quite obviously was not originally designed to be one.

"Don't think you can take me out so easily," T-Bone said as his Turbokat-boat came ashore. "Keep that Pawsitive Cattitude of yours going! We still have a mission to complete."

A few hours had passed, and MamaChu and PapaChu were lounging on the beach waiting for news of their son.

"I can't believe you didn't just give it to him!" MamaChu was saying to PapaChu, obviously furious about his decision to not hand the churner over right away.

"The AKChu is a national treasure MamaChu," PapaChu replied. "It's the same one used by Ash Ketchum back in his trainer days. I can't just give it to a hardened criminal like LickBoot."

"But you CAN let him have our precious MiniChu Jr.!" MamaChu shot back, madder than ever.

"I didn't say," PapaChu responded, getting quite mad himself.

"Would you two just SHUT UP!" LickBoot said. "I can't hear myself think here."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"Who was that?" PapaChu finally said to break the silence. He then gasped. "And where's the AKChu! I left it right here!"

But it was too late. LickBoot was already long gone, hopping along the sandy beach hurrying to his getaway helicopter. He could taste victory on the tip of his tongue as he took the final leap into the-

"Pink Forte Wave!"

LickBoot watched in horror as the helicopter burst into a ball of pink light. Before he could even think about counter-attacking he was slammed to the ground with a single kick from Blossom. T-Bone then took over, keeping the Greninja pinned to the ground as he handcuffed him.

By this time MamaChu and PapaChu had arrived, just as MiniChu Jr. was stepping off the Turbokat-boat onto dry land. "MamaChu, PapaChu!" MiniChu Jr. cried out as he ran towards them.

"I'm so glad you're okay MiniChu Jr.!" PapaChu said.

"Are you hurt at all?" MamaChu said "You must have been through quite a lot!"

"Me fine, me fine! Aunty Tsubomi and Uncle T-Bone protect me!"

PapaChu then scurried down to where Blossom and T-Bone were. "Oh, I can't thank you enough for what you've done. My little Minichu Jr. is safe and sound, and it's all thanks to you."

"No sweat," T-Bone said. Blossom nodded.

PapaChu was about to go back to MamaChu and MiniChu Jr., but he suddenly remembered something very important. "Oh yes, may I please have the AKChu returned to me immediately? It's a national treasure you know, and I must see to returning it."

"You mean this?" Blossom said, holding up a badly damaged chunk of metal, clearly with the imprint of her boot on the side. "I guess LickBoot was carrying it when I...when I..."

She stopped, not knowing what else to say.

As for PapaChu, he was now a brilliant shade of red. "You WHAT? How could you-."

"PapaChu, let's do Pika Dance!" It was MiniChu Jr. already swinging his tail back and forth to the beat. MamaChu was doing the same.

"Alright, let's put on some Catchy Mewsic!" T-Bone said as he went to join in on the fun.

Blossom soon followed, leaving PapaChu there to stare at what remained of the AKChu. But then he looked to his dear wife and son, laughing and singing and dancing to the beat, and he realized that they were all that mattered. And so he too began the Pika Dance.

The End

chance arrives at the kingdom of hyrule, where lickboot was apparently hiding. he is greeted by none other than princess zelda herself. "good evening princess zelda", chance greets as he bows in respect. "good evening mr. chance, all set to go". chance looks over his shoulder and asks, "only us?" "we do not need an army to take care of a coward like lickboot", says princess zelda. "well said princess. after you", says chance, as he politely lets the princess lead the way.

together, they arrive outside the secret hideout, where lickboot was. all of a sudden, a couple of greninjas appear from nowhere. "stop right there, you are not allowed inside", says one. "and who is going to stop us?", asks chance. "we will", says the other greninja. "let's see you try", dares chance, as he gets into position.

the greninjas leap at chance, but before he could do anything, they are both down in no time, thanks to princess zelda's light arrows. "wow, that was quick", exclaims chance. "let's go save minichu jr", says zelda. chance nods and both of them make their way into the secret hideout.

as soon as they get inside, they are confronted by a bunch of greninjas. "you go ahead chance, i'll take care of them", says princess zelda. "are you sure princess, there are so many?", asks chance. "trust me, the kid is the one you should be worrying about", says princess zelda. chance nods in affirmative.

as princess zelda goes about taking care of the greninja's, chance make his way further into the hideout and soon he spots lickboot and minichu jr.

"how did you get here?", asks a surprised lickboot. "hand over the kid", chance replies. "you must defeat me first", says lickboot. he confronts chance and does some martial arts movements, in an attempt to intimidate him. chance yawns and says "are you going to start yet?". lickboot gives out a loud yell and leaps at chance. chance casually balls up his fist & one blow is all it takes to knock lickboot out cold.

"you okay kid?", chance asks minichu jr. the little kid nods his head in affirmative. he then turns to princess zelda, who arrives there. "thank you for the assistance princess", he says. "its been my pleasure. you should proceed to take the kid to his parents, i'll make sure lickboot and all his accomplices are made to pay for their misdeeds" says princess zelda. chance nods in affirmative. he lifts the little minichu jr gently in his arms. the kid was very tired and instantly falls asleep.

after bidding adieu to princess zelda, chance makes his way back to the bahamas, where minichu jr's anxious parents are waiting. as soon as papachu and mamachu spot their son, they rush over and shower their love on him. chance is happy to see the family reunited.

"thank you so much for saving my son chance, how can i repay you, i'll give you anything you want", says papachu. "no need papachu, that's what friends are for", says chance. "thank you once again chance, i'll never forget this", says papachu. chance nods, has a glance at the happy chu family and smiles again. he then walks off, knowing it was job well done.
