Oh boy, I really like to cook so this should be good. Here's a recipe of mine for a savoury tart.

Quote:
Ingredients
1½ cups plain flour
A pinch of salt
90g butter
2½ tablespoons if cold water

Pre-mashed Potato
Diced bacon
Parsnip
Sweet potato
Carrot
Spinach
Celery
Onion
1 tablespoon of garlic

Method
1. Preheat oven to 180-200 celcius. (I don’t know silly American measurements)
2. Sift flour into a bowl. Add salt.
3. Rub in butter evenly until mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
4. Sprinkle water over mixture then stir until dough forms. Additional water may be needed.
5. Knead dough on floured board. Then wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
6. Dice onion and add with bacon to oiled pan. Cook until starting to brown. Stir during.
7. Add celery and complete cooking.
8. Re-roll dough on floured board.
9. Press dough in dish. Cut excess dough from the top so it’s level with the dish. Chill while preparing filling.
10. Grate parsnip, sweet potato and carrot. Cut spinach.
11. Mix mashed potato, bacon mix, grated vegetables and spinach together. Use to evenly fill pastry then bake until cooked
Edit: Added a pic for a reference

I made some keto-friendly bagels last night, and they were pretty delicious!

Dough
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1.5 cups almond flour (I used Bob's Red Mill)
  • 2 tsp xantham gum (Bob's Red Mill again)
  • 4 Tbsp. cream cheese
  • 2 eggs

Toppings (to taste)
  • Sesame seeds
  • Poppy seeds
  • Onion Powder
  • Garlic Powder
  • 1 TBSP Butter
Alternatively, you can find a pre-mixed Everything bagel seasoning mix on Amazon [from Trader Joe] or Walmart

Preparation
  • Preheat oven to 400°
  • In a bowl mix the almond flour, xantham gum, and eggs until combined
  • Place mozzarella and cream cheese in a medium pot and cook on low heated until melted (or you can heat in the microwave - a lot quicker)
  • Once the cheese is melted, combine with the other mixture.
  • Knead until thoroughly combined (you will need a mixer, the flour, eggs and xantham powder get really hard to mix after a little bit)
  • Roll the dough into log shapes and rest them into your donut pan or just baking sheet )(Here's what mine looked like at this point)
  • Melt the butter, and brush it on.
  • Sprinkle your toppings [url=https://i.imgur.com/v2J2Ce2.jpg](Here's what mine looked at this point]
  • Bake for 18 minutes (Here's what mine looked fresh outta the oven)
.

THEY WERE SUPER GOOD

A food additive that acts as a thickening agent. Pretty much keeps ingredients together so they don’t separate.

Booping this to brag about my food some more. Just a really simple thing.

    Garlic and Chilli Chicken Breasts
    Ingredients
    4 half chicken breasts
    1 tbsp cooking oil
    Chilli flakes
    Minced garlic
    Salt
    Pepper

    Method
    1. Preheat oven to about 180C (356F)
    2. Add salt and pepper to chicken
    3. Add oil to a frying pan and spread over base
    4. Add desired amount of chilli and garlic to pan and also spread around a bit (I used a lot o garlic in particular)
    5. Add breasts to pan and cook on stove (or with electric frying pan) for 2-4 minutes on each side.
    6. Put in oven for 20 or so minutes or until cooked through.
    7. Serve over a salad or something cause you're fancy. Garnish with orange slices for max fanciness.

    Spoiler:

Salad pictured here contains lettuce, kale (I'm sorry), radish, beans of some description, corn and thinly sliced beetroot and is covered in Italian dressing.

Serves 2-4 depending on how hungry you are.
