I think my favourite teacher of all time would have to be Mrs Turner. She was my high school French teacher and I had her for five years of French classes from 8th grade to 12th. She was English which is always a plus, and I found it really easy to be drawn into the things she was saying because English accents are incredibly interesting to listen to. She was really nice as well and I was the teacher's pet so we got along really well :)

I have her on Facebook now so if I wanna tell her anything I can just do it :P

My least favourite teacher would have to be Mr. Richardson. He was a woodwork teacher, but I had him for PE class, and one time when I handed him a note to get out of PE (as I did most weeks) he called me a "Fudge Factory". It's one thing for other kids to pick on the fat kid, but for a teacher to do it is absolutely disgusting.

Favorite:

My World Religions & Ethics professor - I took ethics with him because it was required but loved his class so much that I took world religions with him too just for fun. He wasn't much of a lecturer; he left it up to us to do the readings and presentations. However, he was phenomenal at creating discussions that actually went in-depth and made us challenge our views and never accepted hateful/ignorant responses. GAH I MISS HIS CLASS :(

My least favorite has been my Network Security Professor by a landslide. He showed up late to class, basically just opened up random program explanations on wikipedia, never graded anything, and never responded to me when I tried contacting him about assignments when my grandpa was dying/died. He was so inconsiderate, condescending, and a lousy teacher...when he showed up.

My favourite, definitely my third grade teacher :3! I'm not going to mention names but he was the funniest teacher I've had so far, he used to make jokes all the time and he was understanding and caring :D. And also the best part was he was actually the one who got our class into Doctor Who so I love him for that <3, he used to read Doctor Who novels to us along with 'The Hobbit' and other famous stories,novels along with letting us use the computers in our spare time :D. He was just amazing. ;;

Also my last year's Grade 5 teacher :3, she could get really mad at times if you didn't complete homework which was understandable but she was one of the most interesting and humorous teachers I've met <3. And also she had some sort of reward system, along with lots of parties, also she was really interesting, nothing boring ever happened with her. :3

I don't think I have a least favourite though fortunately! :D.

Professor Jane is my faaaaavorite teacher by far. She teaches math, and normally, everyone hates math, but when she teaches, it's as if math is the easiest subject in the world. She's that good.

I had quite a few favorite professors in college since I can barely remember anything except that these days. Two of them were both in the German department -- Dr. Deuilio and Dr. Carter. Both amazing people and amazing professors. In the Political Science department, I really favored Dr. Carlson who focused on Criminal Justice, Dr. Green who also did CJ, and Dr. Camobreco who did American studies along with his wife (I can't remember her name, but it was different than Camobreco's). My degree is in Poli Sci and I really enjoyed almost all the classes I took in that area.

Fortunately I've had quite a few good ones, from grade school to college. The best would have to be my 5th & 6th grade Social Studies teacher, 7th Grade Social Studies teacher, 12th Grade Math, and my political science professor that I've had a few times in college. All of them guys, surprisingly.

My favourite teacher would have to be my English teacher back in secondary school. He was witty, hilarious at times, and actually pretty good; plus, he's quite a large fan of Doctor Who on top of resembling David Tenant to some extent.
Another one of my favourites would be my *gasp* maths teacher back in secondary school (actually, all the maths teachers in my secondary school were quite alright, but the guy's my favourite out of all of em), I mean, the guy actually made maths seem somewhat interesting; plus, during exam times, he would hold a sort of "breakfast club" before and after school where anyone could come in and have a bacon sandwich while revising.

In high school, my favorite teacher of every grade was usually my English teacher. That started in 8th grade, actually.

Though my absolute favorite teacher was my graphic design teacher senior and junior year. Before that, it was my 8th grade english teacher. Honorable mention goes to my junior english teacher and my freshman english teacher!

My maths teachers in Sixth Form were probably my favourite overall. One (Miss Coates) taught pure maths - algebra, trigonometry, calculus etc - and the other (Mr Shevlin) taught specialised maths - mechanics and statistics. And they were completely different in their teaching styles as well: Coates was all happy happy fun times but not in a grating way; Shevlin had the personality of a gruff Scotsman combined with Tommy Lee Jones, but knew exactly what he was talking about. Both were great in different ways, and genuinely loved their subject, and I even have one of them on Facebook!

I'm currently in my least favorite Professor's class.

He just reads off his outdated powerpoints verbatim then expects us to read three books and his powerpoints to prepare for our tests when he never bothers to explain anything.

My Physics teacher from Junior and Senior year in high school.

Prior to taking physics, I figured I wouldn't be interested in it in the slightest. I've never heard anything good about it beforehand and it just didn't sound interesting. I was sadly mistaken. My teacher ran some crazy cool demonstrations for each topic we covered, whether it be shooting a blow dart at a falling monkey stuffed animal to prove calculations for projectile motion, or creating electricity arcs from a Van de Graaff Generator.

Not only that, but this guy was the most genuine teacher I've ever had. He legitimately cared about every one of his students and was the definition of what a teacher should be. He pushed each and every one of us to look for solutions on our own because he knows the real world won't always have that person that you go ask for the answers. If it weren't for him, I feel like I'd honestly be failing college right now. He taught me how to rely on myself for what I need academically which I feel is a skill that's being lost in current classrooms.

Not only that, but I loved Physics so much that it's now my major. :]

There's a thread with this topic already, so I'll merge them together!

Anyway - probably my geography teacher from secondary school. He wasn't that great a teacher but we became pretty genuinely good friends (as it was a ~boarding school~ a lot of teacher/student relationships formed nicely) and we still talk quite a bit today, weird as it sounds! He's one of not many teachers I'd say I saw as an actual friend.
