You can't have choice Items with U-turn.

Its mainly a tricky move to use when trying to surprise your opponent. Simply have Spikes/Stealth Rock deployed, and then send out Staraptor when what is could be matched well against like Porygon-Z (because it obviously outruns with Choice Scarf >.>) As well, Porygon-Z is guaranteed to switch, obviously seeing you have Close Combat, switching into something that will obliterate Staraptor. When he switches, you simply use U-Turn at the turn he switches, then youll be free to switch with the correct Pokemon to match up against the opponents swapped Pokemon, with them getting damage from U-Turn, with Stealth Rock/Spikes damage as well. Pretty good to wear down threats.
