I was just wondering what are some of the basic pokemon that are most common for the following:
Att Sweepers
Spec Att Sweepers
Special Wall
Defensive Wall
Baton Passers

I'm not 1 to get into his pokemon as whole heartadly as some of you. I mean yall get really ticked over stupid reasons >.> but gosh I wanna TRY TO BE A COMPETETIVE BATTLER. So I wanna know some of the poke's recommended. So that I may build my team off of it.

It's cool, we've seen WAY worse. Well, I forgot Aerodactyl in the sweeper section. Hope we all helped!

You forgot Donphan in the physical walls and rapid spinners. The three best are Starmie, Claydol and Donphan just so you know stricken.

Forgot Donphan too? I'll add 'em both.

EDIT: As for roserade, I don't like it all too much, but that's just me. I can't help ya much with that one.

Roserade is an excellent Special Sweeper. 125 Base Special Attack and 90 Base Speed aren't something you cna just ignore. Top that with that all powerful Leaf Storm and you got something stronger then Salamence's Draco Meteor.

Yeah, it sure has potential, I just don't like it. I'm sure punishment can give you a fine moveset. I'll ad roserade to the list.

I sure will...

Roserade is the only other Pokemon to have access to Natural Cure and Aromtheraphy. Unfortunately it is falters as a wall so we probabaly wont be using it.

[email protected] Scarf/Life Orb/Leftovers
Natural Cure
Timid Nature
252 Sp. Atk / 252 Speed / 6 HP
-Leaf Storm
-Sludge Bomb
-Sleep Powder
-Shadow Ball/HP Fire/Aromatheraphy

First two moves are for obvious STAB. Roserade is an awesome hit and run Pokemon with Choice Scarf. Roserade also makes a great lead as it has a movepool that can hit nearly each type hard for neutral damage at least. Sleep Power is to stop those who would ruin her day.

SWEET!!!!!!!! then that means that my thoughts of using her as a spec. sweeper were good thoughts afterall.

Would it be bad to have infernape/gyarados/garchomp in the same team. I think it might be because they are all att. sweepers. and I want a bit of variety. But I feel the need to cover bases with a earth/fire/water type. So any input on replacements would be <3'd

Gyarados and Infernape both tremble to the ever so common Starmie. So does Garchomp tp a lesser extent. Garchomp is the one to keep in the bunch though. Gyarados and Infernape both have their merits but ultimately it is down to your preferences.

All of the movesets suggested by Anti-Pop work. Though Fire blast is an option over Fire Fang and Crunch due to the annoying wall known as Skarmory.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that. I like tauntrados the best, but that's just me. Infernape can brutally murder some teams, so if you use it, take full advantage of its power at sweeping.

alright cool :). I just wasn't sure if my team that I am planning on is diverse enough.
I got a set of the following for the future:

Infernape
Gyrados
Garchomp
Blissey(maybe a snorlax)
Cradily(love that mofo)
Roserade

Not sure on movesets, cuz i am recovering on a restart to fix the fact that I wasted so mannnnnnnnny TMs :/ + got a whack starter. But tell me what you think and any info would be loved.

Thathas a boltbeam weakness, mostly the beam part. You need a boltbeam absorber...like blissey! If starmie or togekiss or porygonZ come in, switch to Blissey ASAP. If bliss faints...

Well if you do go with Blissey why not just go with SkarmBliss then? I'd say you are a tad heavy on the physical sweeper spectrum. Drop Gyarados or Infernape for a physical wall. Cradilly is nice but since it is somewhat to some extent a dual wall it doesnt excel in any one area. This is just my opinion though.

Maybe adding a bulky water like Milotic maybe in your best interest.

EDIT: Even against a Togekiss Blissey will suffer. Especially if they have Nasty Plot to go with that Aura Sphere.

Yeah, add milotic. That might be a decent option. Watch out for those weaknesses though...

Ok, so your saying I need a better defensive wall. I'll probably drop gyrados once I re-finish the game it'self, Milotic might be a good idea, what if i dropped the cradily/gyrados for skarmory/Milotic???
