Bastidion @ Leftovers
Calm Nature
EV's: 252def, 252sp.def, 4hp

Moveset:
Toxic
Iron Defense
Metal Burst
Rest

I know that Taunt should probly be in there, so post a good moveset because this one is just my general thoughts.

Put the sp. Defense EVs in HP, it'll help it as a phys. wall.

Its defense is high enough to wall any sweeper so I don't see much need for ID

EDIT ZOMG! 1000 POSTS!!!

Yeah, it needs taunt to stop dragon dancers from killing you. Then again so can ID, but taunt is best for it.

or what you could do if you're looking to make a mixed wall is use bold nature, 252 sp. def, about 184 hp and 74 def. moveset looks fine to me. a better idea i think would be to use relaxed nature, same ivs as i just said, and instead of metal burst- gyro ball:

[email protected]
Impish/Careful: 252 sp. def, 184 hp, 74 def
toxic
iron defense/ taunt
metal burst
rest

that personally sounds good to me. but there are others more experienced than I

EDIT: my bad- bastiodon cant learn gyro ball. xD

Taunt is suckish on a Rock Pokemon, you're just asking for a Water type to come in and Surf it away, not to mention that the Pokemon could easily switch out.

Well, at least it forces a switch. If you see it coming, you could always stitch into a pokemon that counters the pokemon you expect to come in. Ah, prediction is a wonderful thing!

Yet on such a defensive Pokemon, you can't rely on prediction to blast away the Pokemon you expect.

Very true, especially if they predict the prediction...but let's not get into that. It's fine, just use taunt. Me being the biased airhead I am, I like steelix as a wall better, but bastiodon works.

who wouldnt like steelix better for physical walling: 168 < 200 base def. plus steelix has a much better movepool than bastiodon. its almost a no-brainer

Yeah but this is where individuality comes into play. Maybe lots of people think Steelix is a good physical wall, and in my opinion I never liked Steelix a lot. Bastidon looks cooler to me and I'd rather have it on my team.

Well, Steelix IS, by far, A better physical wall, but hey. If you like bastiodon then use it. Like how I use Hypno. Sure, many pokes are better, but I like it, so use bastiodon. Ironically, steelix is my 3rd favorite pokemon, but meh, use bastiodon.

Yeah exactly man, you know what I'm talking about. Plus I like the fact that my Bastiodon can wall both physical and special almost equally, so now my wall/tank portion of my team is complete (unless I change my mind on someone like I always do).
