Hey, have a little confidence. Actually, you only need 252 instead of 255. The extra 6 can go into HP probably...

4 EVs = 1 stat point. 255 and 510 aren't divisible by 4, so you go with 252 as the max EVs gained in each stat instead, so you'll have 6 remaining EVs.

Use the standard 252 Sp.Atk / 252 Spd / 6 HP spread.

252 Special Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP

Many special sweepers use that EV spread.

They should have 512 EV's(divisible by 4 evenly)

Oh and for the nature it is your choice it just depends if you want it to hit hard and get hit first or if you want to get out of the gate quick and hit something with less power!

Timid gives you a chance at attacking before a gengar...which can t-bolt or shadow ball you...so I'd go timid.

I never said you were wrong...I was just stating a good reason to use timid. Modest is good for extra power on those unSTABed attacks.

How about boltbeam in general. I prefer timid, but it's personal preference.

We get THE POINT. You wish Nintendo would make it 512 max EVs so you could have ONE EXTRA POINT IN A STAT. Is one point worthing STRETCHING the page INTO HELL?

As for Starmie, the standard EV spread will work. Timid >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Modest.

Eh. I go 252 Sp. Atk, 216 Speed, 40 Hp. Gives it enough to outspeed Timid Gengar.
