Didn't you go to one called JIM last year, like for church?

A few years back when I'd go to my Dad's house during summer, I'd have to go to day camp. Oh, how I hated it so. I cried the first day, and went home, but my dad made me go back....

Unless I was going with friends, I wouldn't go, and I doubt my friends would go. I'm not into the whole "wilderness" thing. I hate grooming in the woods, I can't take it. In sixth grade we had that 3 day trip to the mountains, and I didn't take a shower, because I hate that. Taking shower around others, and in the woods, and ugh, it's invading my space, and my standards.

The only summer camp I ever did was a day camp during the summer between 1st and 2nd grade... that would've been in '94 I think cuz that was the summer my grandfather died and I had to move and it was so confusing. Anyways, other than that day camp I never did anything else... I basically just sat at home or went to the pool all summer. Some of my friends used to go to the Girl Scout camp though... but I never did cuz Girl Scouts traumatized me. I hated all those camping trips, nevermind spending my summer there...

So you're going to Summer Camp, eh? Well, I hope that you have yet another good time. =)

Before I turned 13, I always went to summer camps every year because I was not old enough to legally stay home alone for the day. >>; They were fun for the first week that I was at them, but after the 2nd and 3rd week we just started doing the same thing over and over again; making a craft, playing a game, etc. Some of them never lost their fun, though, because we didn't ALWAYS do the same thing. For example, I used to go to this one called Adventures R Us, and it was my favorite camp out of all of them. We used to play all-time favorite games of mine like dodgeball and basketball, and we never did any boring crafts. >>; Although some of them were really fun, I was very happy the first summer that I was allowed to stay home though.

I'm going to a Summer camp on the 20th, called Camp Lutherwood....It's a Lutheran camp, and it's really fun! There's swimming, water skiing, rope courses, hikes, and all that good stuffs! XD It's going to be a blast, I know it. I went there just for day camp before and loved it, so I'm sure this'll be even better. ^____^ Wee! *packs her stuff, even though camp starts in 6 days*
------------------------------

But there was one summer camp that I"m NEVER going to again...The vile, the terrible, the camp I can't stand.....Camp Kirby. all the counselors there are old (the lutherwood counselors are like, just out of high school), you can't go swimming, the cabins are crud (I'd rather sleep in a tent than those things.), the food is nasty, they make you wash dishes, and it's just all around boring......

Well, this isn't a technical camp, but I am doing this workout thing every morning, cost $75, worth over $300, very, very intense, we sprinted over 1K yards the other day, gets a lot harder each day, just right for me to get into perfect athletic form

Heheh, trust me, it's very tough. We have to do a lot of weightlifting, and same for running. No one eats anything before they go, because that's a guarantee that you will vomit. Heh, a lot of the people that have done it before and are doing it this yerar told us before it ends, you will blow chunks, no joke
