Yeah, stealth rock can work on bliss...you'd need a heracross to OHKO that monster...and wow, I guess I'm liked more than I thought...Rock polish? Nononononononononononononononononononononononononono. TTar learns dragon dance...and is plenty durable enough to survive a couple DDs, and then he has speed AND power, making rock polish seem prehistoric. You should scout for Vire and Heracross, take 'em out, and then send in TTar...and he'll cook anything...the SpD boost, the amazing defense, and now the pokemon that uses close combat/other fighting move is out of the way...TTar is unstopable after that. It's a bit of trouble to go to, but TTar can sweep ANY team due to its diverse movepool and superior stats. He isn't being considered to be uber for nothing...

But yeah, making a team to defeat one battler...

1. That is unfair to Marriland.

2. Who the heck is Marriland? (I know you answered that but...)

3. He hacks, or used to hack (dunno), so why bother?

4. I feel I need to reitterate, why make a team to defeat one person? You know, Marriland could just train up a few more pokemon...

So yeah, pretty much a...I wouldn't say pointless, but odd thread. Just make the best team you can and it should prevail or do well if it is any good...

I also dont understand what all this "marriland" is about, he even says he isnt the best and he take more pride in his website than battling, it was his "fans" that made him seem invincible, which is why he isnt battling anymore because absolutely everyone wanted to battle him. I also understand he has lost to someone from smogon.
Yeah, he did. Pythonkid. I battled him 4 times and beat 3 of his pokemon... Anyhow, Marriland doesn't use that team any more...

I don't see how anyone would even bother making a team to just defeat mainly one person. Marriland himself admits he isn't a great competitive battler, but I guess so many newbs who watch his videos thinks he's a god when it it's about battling. He's far from being the best, and it's not like he has never lost a match before.

I think that Inferape basicly beat him.

Inferape could beat his weavile, lopunny and gyarados.

Weavile = Aerial Ace + Outspeed/Focus Sash

Wait, there is a thread about beating somebody who uses lopunny? Oh boy...but really, just make a good team, and beating marriland will take care of itself.

Someone tried to do that to me... they made a team with the sole intention of taking mine down (ie, Dugtrio, Magnezone, Swampert and company). And ya know what? As he said, I "uber predicted him", and Magnezone got a taste of MY Dugtrio. XD

Facing a team to counter yours isn't unfair... moreso, it shows how well you really know your team. The ONLY team I've faced that counters mine to the point that I couldn't predict past it is Cema's most recent team.

Anyways, yeah, leave this thread to die. Any good team can defeat any other good team (with few rare exceptions, like mine against Cema's), but I would much prefer to use my team. Making a team to counter someone shows you know how HE plays, it doesn't show YOU know how to play.
