confusing part is that his "effect" states that when he is sent from the field (where Skill Drain takes effect) to the removed pile then blahblah. So yeah, I personally think that his effect still works, but I like someone to confirm it. I will not be happy if I have to scrap an idea cause of ruling T_T

Hmm, yeah, it's confusing. I remember playing on World Championship 2007, whenever he is sent to the graveyard, his effect never activates until he's already in the graveyard. I think that sent from the field stuff is just the set up for the effect, and not really the effect itself. To me, it makes more sense for the effect to work. I'd test it out right now, but I'm not allowed to play on the weekdays.

Nyu, no worries. By official ruling, Skill Drain only negates an effect if the monster is still on the field when the effect resolves (Hence why it doesn't negate Nimble Momonga and Exiled Force) or if it's a flip monster. D.D. Survivor's effect resolves in your removed from play pile, so yes: I believe that D.D. Survivor would be summoned, unless you're using Banisher in which case it wouldn't be removed from play in the first place because Skill Drain would negate the effect. :3

The wording is still trouble though...in WC07 (which, last I checked, goes by official rulings), the searchers are negated by Skill Drain.

Tell you what, I'll go play around with those two for a while, then I'll get back to you.

and WC series games are always known for being hecticly buggy usually with cards (percentage wise, it's not too bad to mess up a few cards within thousands. But then again, they always mess up the popular cards /swt )

:\ Maybe...but the DS games have been pretty good as far as I've seen.
